Description of Work: Removal of a 50 gallon gas water heater and installation of a Rinnai RUR98i tankless, recirculating water heater. | |Once I signed the contract, it went very well, they were professional and courteous in their interactions with me and my wife. They recommended a two day work schedule with day one involving the removal of the old heater and day two the installation of the tankless. About five days later, the foreman came back and inspected the installation, answered questions and refinished the end of the pressure relief water line on the outside of the house. Overall very satisfied with the heater and the installation. My only complaints are minor ones with the finish of sheet rock replacement in the heater closet and the sharp bend made in the hot water outlet flex pipe which in my opinion could have been smoother.

Description of Work: They came out to give me a quote on installing a new water hose connector on the outside of my house and a sewer drain for my RV in the back yard. The RV drain was too expensive for me at the time so I said go ahead with the water hose connector. Someone else came out later the same day and completed it. Good work and worth the $150.

They fixed the garbage disposal which we did not have at that time. They were very responsive. They were here within an hour of us calling them. We will definitely use them in the future.

+ -1 morePronto came out within a few hours of the call, inspected the furnace and changed the "thermo-coupler". The device they changed screwed in on both sides and took all of 10 minutes to do. I am confident the part cost no more than $3 dollars. While I am happy they were able to fix the problem, and do so quickly, the price was a bit steep. But I will file it away in the "I learned something new today" part of my brain. I will do the repair myself next time. The way I break down the price is this: $3 for the part, $25 for the labor, $50 to come out, and $52 for the education.

+ -1 morePrompt and professional fast worker. He had to knock out brick on the outside kitchen wall to access the pipes and to replace all and anything that needed to be replaced for the refrigerator water line, the dishwasher, disposal and drainage.
Description of Work: They replumbed all undersink kitchen plumbing after new kitchen installed and plumbed (not by a professional plumber) due to water leakage.

+ 0 moreI didn't count on them coming within a day or so, but they came within twenty minutes. They also did not pad the bill with extra charges. The technician was very thorough and was able to figure out what the problem was and repair it.
Description of Work: I had a problem with the control on one of my furnaces. I had Pronto Plumbers come, and they corrected it.

+ -1 moreVery badly. I need a new 40 gallon gas water heater. Pronto Plumber came out and asked me to sign a blank work order. I requested a quote prior to signing. The plumber said it'd be a 3 - 4 hour job, at $75/hour and would run between $700 - $900. I asked for a heater with a 12 year warranty. The office called me back and said it'd be $1220. In the meantime, the plumber fiddled with the pressure relief valve. The tank refilled, and he then tripped it again, while explaining that I needed something "special". I refused the service. He left and then started pounding on my door while I was on the phone with another plumber. He said his company needed $75 for the call. I told him no and shut the door. The backyard is full of warm water, thanks to the now broken pressure relief valve.
Description of Work: Came out for estimate, broke pressure relief valve, gave estimate $400 higher than next highest and tried to charge $75 when I refused to do business with them. ($1220)
