2 guys came promptly at 8am, and left about 4. They put cloth runners through out the house so there was very little clean up. The bath they worked on was small, which can't be easy. They did everything I asked and we were very happy with the outcome!

Their work was of high quality, using top notch materials, and top workmanship. I know this, because I worked in construction management for over 30 years, and their methods, techniques, and materials were ?spot on?. And to top it off, their price for the work was extremely fair. They even credited me for some changed materials (that we mutually agreed upon), passing along the savings to me. I would not hesitate to hire Nu-tec again, and you should not either.

Ed and Keith completely remodeled my kitchen. They managed all plumbing and electrical and appliances while another vendor led countertops and cabinetry. Ed and Keith are outstanding. They have great ideas and are very professional and punctual. Simply excellent and would highly recommend them. Ed is especially personable and easy to work with (as is his partner Keith). They are just good guys and get the job done right!

Everything went as planned.Ed,Keith.Junior and Ulyisses were all told what was expected and then SOME!All arrived on time each employee was introduced,explained the Project. everyone what told exactly was expected with a time line.What work was be completed in each room.Arrived at 8:AM every work day with clean clothes,positive attitude,and a willingness to please the customer. The areas were protected with drop clothes,cleaned all work areas prior to departing for the day. All in all you could not ask for a better team of workers. I will hire them again.Hopefully the costs will be a little bit lower.I guess we will find out. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for an outstanding contractor who is honest dependable and will honor his commitment for the work pro seed. I have heard many horror stories associated with contractors and home improvement work. This lead me to interview and get quotes from 9 different contractors. The only one of the 9 that 1) responded promptly, 2) arrived on time, 3) gave a professionally written quote and 4) was courteous and pleasant to speak with was Ed. I knew that I wanted Nutec to do the job immediately. Ed and his crew are very busy and it did take a while to get the job scheduled to start due to very large projects they were working on. I assure you that if you wait you will not be disappointed with the work done. The job only took 3 days total. Keith and Jr. arrived in the morning early (yes early) and got to work right away. They even let my 5 year old son be their helper! They truly did an incredible job and I am so glad I waited for them. Do not get discouraged if it takes a while to book a job with them. Keep in contact with Ed and they will take care of you. You truly can't go wrong hiring this company.

Ed and Keith did a fabulous job of completely renovating my fathers bathroom. It was a very tiny bathroom that was really too small to allow his helpers in to help him bathe, brush teeth etc. the expanded the bathroom into the backyard and created a room, beautiful and functional space. The work included expanding the foundation, modifying the roofline, adding plumbing and electricity, exterior brickwork, interior tiling and paint, etc, etc. Throughout the entire process the whole team was professional, polite, and very clean. All work was completed on time in spite of the fact that we asked for a number of additional items. The quality was exceptional on everything. I cannot say enough great things about NuTec. I would recommend them to anyone.

A kitchen is "the heart" of the house and it is difficult to to be deprived of its amenities for any period of time, however, our overall experience with Nutec was very favorable, from the initial meeting for project overview, to the provision of a detailed estimate, explanation of cost factor, manner of implementation of the work, and time frame for completion. The Nutec crew and their subcontractors were professional, neat in their appearance, work product, and respectful of our home. The bathroom aspect of the project had not been anticipated, however, the replacement of leaking sewer lines mandated that the bathroom be included in the work. Upon the discovery of the expanded scope of work, NuTec clearly defined the needed work and additional costs before proceeding. Although the unforeseen work extended the construction period by a few days, it was accomplished efficiently and within budget. We never felt that the work was being rushed due to NuTec's subsequent jobs. Workers were punctual, polite, and each day set drop cloths and other protective materials to protect adjacent areas of our home. Tools were collected, put away and the construction area cleaned before leaving each day. All construction debris was loaded into a contractor provided trailer and secured with a covering when weather conditions required. The exterior areas of our home were swept clean and the area designated for the storage of contractor tools was always well kept and secured each day. Everyone readily answered questions and promptly addressed any concerns. Additionally, I would add that care was taken to ensure the safety and containment of our pets during the entire construction process. NuTec took responsibility for all aspects of demolition, the removal and disposal of debris, and the final construction. We were referred to cabinetmakers and counter top fabricators with whom they had previously worked and these aspects of the project were contracted and paid separately. I would add that no pressure was brought for us to use these subcontractors and we were at liberty to engage others of our choosing. NuTec's recommendations proved well founded and we had no complaints with the materials and services we received. After completion, I received follow up calls from NuTec to affirm that we were satisfied with the work. Initially, I had great difficulty in finding a contractor who returned phone calls or expressed any interest in undertaking this remodel project (including some who appear on Angies List). I am convinced that we found the right company for the job. From start to finish, with their ethical work practices, cheerful and conscientious manner, NuTec really came through for us.

I initially did not know the source of the leak , but when I called NuTEC , he came out as soon as he could. Very pleasant men, gave m a estimate on what should be done. He sent a detailed list of the work and the price. He came when he promised and worked cleanly and quickly. He also gave advice on other projects. My husband and I have had some disasters with other "repairmen" so we will definitely will use them again.

I had recently relocated from Austin Texas so I had no knowledge about contractors in El Paso. We used Angie's List to locate a list of possible contractors. We contacted Ed who came over and discussed our project with us. He helped us crystalize our concept to get to a workable plan. He subsequently submitted his bid. Because of workload, it would be about three months before NuTec could begin the project assuming we gave them the work. We took this time to hire a designer to review our plans, offer suggestions and prepare a set of permit ready plans. This proved to be money well spent as he offered a number of constructive suggestions. We used these plans to take additional bids and to give NuTec a chance to revise their bid. After their review they deemed the changes not substantive and stood by their original bid. NuTec was not the cheapest but their price was reasonable. We accepted their bid. Work began the Monday after Christmas and took three weeks. At every turn NuTec found a way to exceed our expectations. First off the work was done neatly and cleanly. The staff are very professional and consulted at every point in the project. Beyond that they enhanced what we wanted done by using the highest quality. They also do not nickel and dime you for every thing that occurs that is unexpected. We asked that an available area to be converted to a linen closet. This was a space where a heater had been. They could simply have put some shelves in the space and we would have been okay. Instead they cleared out the entire closet area, took it to ground level that eliminated some unsightly non functional air intake vents and gave us a full size linen closet. We had one unexpected cost which was clearly explained to me before proceeding. The cost of the change was reasonable and we proceeded. This involved insulating exterior walls that previously had no insulation. The crew that did the work was timely, punctual and hard working. They have excellent people skills and are very patient in explaining what they are doing. In the end NuTec provided around $2800 in extras balanced off by about $800 in credits to me. We simply agreed to swap my credits for the extra work that was done. We highly recommend this company. You may have to wait a bit because they are busy but it was well worth it in terms of cost and quality of work done. We have already committed to use them for a kitchen remodel. We will gladly wait till May for these guys to do our work

It went fantastic! This was quite a bit of work: took the bathrooms out to the studs, new walls, new tile, reworded some plumbing, new fixtures, cabinets, countertops...corrected a bunch of issues with our twenty-plus year old home. I wanted a retro look to the bathrooms and I got even better than what I envisioned. Kitchen is next...can't wait!

My kitchen and bathroom were in dire need of remodel, NuTec listened to the vision I had in mind for the remodel. They gave me advise and guidance during the project yet kept my ideas in mind. I received a free estimate and they stayed within the budget we had agreed to. They kept a trusting and professional relationship through out the entire time The management immediately made me feel like I could trust them in my home. Ed arrived on time.He spent an ample amount of time coJvering a all our concerns.His advice was honest,forthright and had our interests ahead of him driVing up our costs.The estimate for our project will be completed in 2 or 3 days.

They'll do any job small or large. They were really good about telling me what they were going to be doing the next day. They were always punctual. The project turned out better than I had expected. I will definitely use them for our next project! The price didn't include the tile. I purchased that separately.

I contacted Nu-Tec about replacing a leaking skylight. Mr. Clouse told me that they were very busy and not doing roofing work at that time, but he gave me a referral for someone else. I called the person he referred Danny Diaz with D & D Construction and Roofing. They came right away, checked out my problem and gave me an estimate and scheduled installation. There was a slight delay due to the need to the skylight being out of stock, but they informed along the way. When the skylight became available, the roofer came and installed it immediately. He also installed a better product than I originally had. The price was excellent, the work was high quality and professional. I'm very happy with D & D Construction and Roofing. Mr. Danny Diaz is very reasonably priced and very professional.

I have never seen a better crew at work. On time every morning at 8 o'clock. Stayed all day until five. They were clean and very businesslike. Jobsite was spotless at the end of each day. I couldn't of asked for better job!

The plumber told us the leakage from our old water heater had damaged the floor so badly he couldn't put the new one in until it had been replaced. We had no knowledge about carpenters, so we went to Angie's List. Mr. Ed Clouse from Nu-TEC contacted us quickly. He and another gentleman, Keith, arrived soon, and within a short period of time completed the work. They were polite and professional,their work excellent. I would certainly use them again, and recommend them highly.

Partners Ed and/or Keith and their workers were on time every day. They were meticulous with their work and cleaned up at the end of each day. Either Ed or Keith were onsite with their workers at all times. They met their initial timeline in finishing the bathroom. Everyone involved was courteous and easy to have in the house for the eleven days they took to complete the work. The finished bathroom is beautiful. I would use them again in a second and will recommend them to our friends.

Nu-Tec renovated my 2d floor bathroom. This project included gutting the entire room and then rebuilding it and replacing everything. Also a steam shower was added. I decided on Nu-Tec after considering several other companies. I just got a good feeling about them, and I read their previous reviews. From our first contact with Ed, it was obvious his business is a professional operation. This was clearly apparent right from the quote process. Ed worked with us, conducting his visit later in the evening so we did not have to take time off of work. He arrived right on time, and kept us informed about his expected arrival time. It was no surprise to find out this is the way he is all the time. He looked over our project and listened to our desires and offered great suggestions. It was easy to tell he has vast experience with this type of work. He understands all aspects of a remodeling project. Demolition, electrical, dry wall, plumbing, you name it. He calmly advised us when some or our ideas were not possible, and offered better suggestions. You could tell that he had done many of these projects. No brag, just fact, a fact we discovered we could count on. Once his estimate was completed, he provided it by email and we had time to review it and make any changes we needed. His complete understanding enables him to provide an accurate, no surprises quote, but remains flexiable with changes which naturally come up in these type of projects. It was easy to make a decison to work with Nu-Tec compared to other companies. It just seemed they were the best. We had another meeting to let them know about our decision to go with them. Ed also provided recommendations for companies which did electrical work and the glass for the steam shower. They also proved as reliable and dependable as NuTec. When the Nu-Tec team arrived, it was great to see they were right on time, and each were introduced. They were dressed appropriately in clean attire, were engaging and offered a friendly handshake. After a short time to carefully cover our floors and stairs, the demolition started and the project was underway. It always amazed me how so many workers could fit into that relatively small area. Each one was busy and worked diligently to complete this phase. Rubble was always carried out and disposed of without fail. Tools were always put away. It turns out they clean their work area on a daily basis, so it was difficult to tell they had worked, except by the measure of their progress. The project continued in this way without a problem. They arrived on time, answered any questions, adapted to changes, and worked without fault. Within ten days, this project was completed and I happy to see how professional this team continued to be. Progress was steady and observable as each detail of the work was completed. Even the simple stuff, things you would not think of as problems were resolved before you even realized it. For example, the sink cabinet was installed butt up to the wall on the right. As it turns out, there is also a door and frame on this side. The door frame would easily prevent the drawers from opening completely. Ed and his team had seen this before, and to prevent this problem, left the cabinet just a bit out from the wall and added a small trim to cover the gap. This small adjustment allowed the drawers to open fully. I was amazed. I am sure others would have walked away, waiting for this to be discovered later. It is just these type of situations which confirms NuTec was the correct company for this work. I believe the work to install the steam shower unit was not common to most bathrooms and required an extra day to complete. Despite the complications, this part of the project did not cause any problem. This unit has worked perfectly. I could offer numerous other examples like this, but space prevents it. It is actually surprising to see a project of this nature completed in such a short time, without problems or disappointments. Thanks to NuTec, my bathroom is now completely new and beautiful. I would highly recommend them for this type of work, and actually I believe I would trust them to perform many other home repair or renovation type projects. We've actually had them back to do some other work. We really like the work they've done. Their last job costed me almost $1000.

My husband and I are retired and have had many experiences with various home remodelers. In short, this was our best experience. The overall quality of the work performed, the friendly nature of all the employees and the company's timeliness were outstanding. It started with the initial consultation when Ed met with us and gave us many good suggestions, including how to save money and yet receive a quality makeover. Once the work began, everything proceeded in a timely manner: the work started on the date promised, work began and finished at the same time every day; and the job was finished on the day promised. Moreover, the quality of the work performed met our high standards. In addition, they did not leave a mess at the end of the day. Not only would I recommend this company, but we intend to use them again in the near future.

After dealing with poor workmanship for 6 months trying to get a wood fence built I finally joined Angies List. New Tec came and saved the day. At first I felt they were a little expensive but the quality of workmanship and professionalism was exceptional. Well worth the money. I will definitely use this company again. I also plan to use them for a major house renovation. They are pulling out a wall and re-doing my kitchen and dining room. The project should take about five weeks and will start in the middle of June.

I must say that the experience was a very good one. I had extensive work done and am thrilled with the result. Ed, Keith, Ulises, and Junior, were very pleasant and very polite. I was impressed with their working relationship with each other. They shook hands in the morning and again at the end of the day. In other words, they seemed to really enjoy each other. They were very prompt each day at 8:00 AM, and even stayed over if necessary. I lived in the house the entire time, and they made it as un-stressful as possible. We discussed little glitches and solved the problems to everybody?s satisfaction. I would recommend them to anybody! I picked their company because they had received all As on Angie?s List.
