Response from Nu-Tec R & C Inc
Really? I remember your phone call to me primarily because I remember your street address. We spoke the first time you called me on my cell phone! Everyone who has spoken with me in the last month or so has been told that we are running about eight to ten weeks out. You were given the same information, I know because I remember speaking with you. You were on a time line and I could not get to you. Every single person that I speak with gets the same response from me, "I can give you an estimate but may not be able to start your project for several months." Nu-Tec would like nothing more than to repair or remodel each and every home from each and every person that calls or e-mails us but we can only work so fast and will not substitute quality nor will we postpone customers who have been waiting to satisfy those who think that they deserve more than others. Once again we did not meet with you, give you a work proposal, or set a proposal date but did tell you honestly about our time schedule and what do we get, a poor letter grade! We have been remodeling in El Paso long before Angie's List came along and will be here long after they have gone and with or without them, we most certainly will provide our customers with the best remodeling experience that we can provide. Angie's List customers need to understand that the service providers with generally good letter grades are probably the one's worth waiting for. That is why you pay the yearly fee to search Angie's List, for the more competent, reliable, honest service providers. And to finish, this is for the Angie's List editors who will edit this response before posting, "Angie's List should not be able to post letter grades for work not performed. They should allow people to express their opinions about phone calls, missed appointments, high cost estimates in writing but not allow a letter grade unless actual work has been performed!"
