HORRIBLE!!!! Cooler worked previously. (off and on) They tore it apart, installed a new thermostat, then said the compressor didnt work. (worked before they got there) After I said no to a replacement, they removed the new thermostat and left the old just sitting on the counter top. They then had the nerve to charge me $300!!!! Look elsewhere....

Living here in the Sun City for the last year, this company is a breath of fresh air. Professional, prompt, and courteous service was experienced. If you have lived here long, you know what I'm talking about. If you are new to the area, trust me.

PRO: I would recommend and use Dosher again. Dosher was very responsive and thorough; I was surprised they were able to make it out to the house so quickly. I trusted their professionalism and diagnosis especially since I was out of town when they came to fix the issues. In fact, since one of the air conditioning lines was frozen, they stated they would return the next day to provide a more thorough evaluation of why the air conditioner did not work. They also quickly diagnosed the issue with the other air conditioner. Finally, their repair work was without issue and both units work very well. CON: I was a bit disappointed with the approval and billing process. Generally, they had my approval to diagnose the issues; however, the costs jumped significantly from the first to the return visit, which was not discussed with me before they completed the repairs during the second visit. Then, since I was out of town, I simply got the bill by email. Although Dosher called to let me know the diagnosis, they did not follow-up once the lines thawed and they identified the issues before going ahead and fixing them. I likely would have approved the repairs, but would have appreciated the courtesy of doing so before they actually did the work. They did offer a discount for paying within a certain timeframe, which, although nice, makes you wonder if their labor charges are too high at the outset. Regardless, I would use them again but ask them to seek my permission before spending my money.

As soon as the repair man opened up the unit, he knew the capacitor had to be replaced. He explained how he knew the capacitor was bad and how the air conditioner works. When he was done, he cleaned the area around the air conditioner and gave me some maintenance tips. I was a little skeptical about paying a fee for Angies List, but finding Dosher Refrigeration made it well worth it.

Carmen was extremely nice and knowledgeable. We got more than one estimate and although Dosher was the most expensive of the estimates, we decided to hire them because they seemed to understand the problems better than the others and they were so professional that we had more confidence in them than the other estimates we got. We are very happy with the outcome and will hire them again this Fall to repair our living room floor furnace.

The office staff was very professional and helpful. The office staff worked around my schedule to install and upgrade to my heat pump. An auxiliary electric heating element was installed. The installers were very friendly and helpful. The job was completed in Dec 2012 and everything works fine. In March the cooling did not work. The installers came and fixed the problem. I was not charged for this work. I would recommend this company to other people.

The rep was the same friendly guy I've had for years. Very professional, thorough and neat.

My experience with Dosher Refrigeration was top rate from start to finish. The contact person on the phone (Carmen) was extremely knowledgeable about their products. She was able to answer all of my many questions with details about the product types and installation process. She also helped me determine the size of the units and motor I would need to cool my home most efficiently. She provided service above and beyond what I would have expected and worked with me to get me a quote and installation in a timely manner eventhough it is the height of their busy season and their schedule was completely booked. The installers were very courteous and professional and completed the removal and installation of two coolers within one day. After the installation, they cleaned up and swept the area where they were working. The units are working beautifully. Dosher Refrigeration provided all of this at a most reasonable price. I had obtained five other quotes, and Dosher was one of the least expensive. I am completely happy with their service and would highly recommend them. Thank you Carmen! The woman on the phone was kind and professional. We called due to a leak in one of out units. She had someone come out that evening. The servicemen were professional and efficient. We were pleased with the work. I would rate Dosher all A's, but I called in the beginning on June for service on my other unit. The woman on the phone remembered us and apologized for being busy. She said they most likely wouldn't be able to make it out anytime soon but would call back and let me know. She never called back. Although that was far preferable to over-scheduling, a call back would have been nice.

This is my go to company for anything to do with my heating and cooling issues. I have been using them for many years and have recommended them to many friends. They are the best!

Start to finish--excellent service.

Dosher Refrigeration listened to how we wanted the installation to be performed and quoted the job accordingly. The quote was not only the lowest for the core installation, it also covered areas that were add-on the other bids we received. The company started the installation early. The techs were knowledgeable, clean and very courteous during the installation process.

It went really well and I'm very satisfied with them. They were excellent in their price and their service. The people were really easy to get along with, they always cleaned up after a days work and they did really professional work. The others I compared were much higher in price. If I had any questions or problems they would react immediately and the owner himself came out before the end of the job to make sure everything was going well. The only argument people may have, in this particular case, was price, but these guys were really good and they were the cheapest of the four I checked; and I got great equipment.

Dosher Refrigeration did a great job! Their personnel were courteous, helpful, friendly, and most importantly they were On Time. I had to take off work for the appointment and it was nice to see them waiting for me when I got home. I would definitely use this comany again and would absolutely recommend them to my friends.

My furnance quit friday 2/1/12. I didn't know any contractors in El Paso and I prefered having one that was recommended so I joined Angie's List and they sent me the names of three. I had two of them give estimates, which was Dosher and Kings Air. Both companies seemed to be good. It was very cold in El Paso and we had no heat, Dosher said they could install the furnace first thing Monday morning because of the place they get the furnace was closed on Friday by 4:00pm. The estimate from Dosher was $1526, the estimate from Kings Aire was $1400. I chose Dosher because they could do the job Monday and Kings Air could not do it until Tuesday. Dosher also provided two electrical heaters to be used for the weekend free of charge. They installed the furnace 2/4/2013, and it took only 5 hours. I am well satisfied and thanks Angie's List and Dosher Refrigeration.

Overall, I rate them as excellent. I had no complaints regarding punctuality, serivce, cost, and professionalism.

the The technician replaced the pump and the cooler started working again. However, a couple of weeks later, the cooler stopped working again. Dosher sent a technician the same day I called. It turns out that the water in my neighborhood is full of salt and it was clogging the water lines. They cleaned it out, installed a bleeder line and got the cooler working again. I was not charged for the second call.

After calling over 7 Heating and A/C vendors, having Dosher take my call it was a pleasant surprise: the professionalism in which my call was handled, prompt response, follow up call after the visit, etc. I asked for an appointment to prepare a quote to install central air. They told me would call back to confirm the appointment. Within a few hours I had a confirmed appointment. The technician showed up on time on the date of the appointment. Performed a detailed inspection and described to me what he found and his assessment of the current installation. Provided to me clear options and helped me understand the advantages and disadvantages of each choice. It was obvious that the technician was very experienced, knew exactly what to look for and gain my trust over the process.The quote was very competitive (I compared with 3 other providers) and clearly described the services, warranties and work to be done. Unfortunately, at this time I won't be able to execute the work due to emerging priorities, but will definitely call Dosher for any A/C needs, including the central air installation.

They are fabulous and I give them straight A's. I will use them again in the future.

They worked with me on my scheduling because I am a teacher. They called me, so I could meet them, so I would not have to take off work.

Excellent service ******* When my wife received a call from Angie's List a few months ago she reported that Dosher did not show up for an appointment to provide a quote. In actuality, there was confusion over the date of the appointment. We thought that the appointment was on Friday but it was on Saturday. Dosher shwed up for the Saturday appointment. We would like to recall the other report. Dosher is an excellent company.

They went on the roof to review the AC and into the house to review and repair if needed the heating and AC. It worked properly.

Our next door neighbor recommended them. They are very reliable and nice to work with. Mrs. Dosher is the owner and she will work with us based on knowing us and what we need. We get really personalized service. Their prices have gone up but they are comparable.

Mother said that the work went well and right on time. They up-dated things that required attention and coordinated with the city inspector to come to the house and check the installation of the new MasterCool air conditioner. Mother had a few conversations with Carmen Dosher, who was really wonderful about calling and following up with mother about questions or concerns she had. The ONE draw-back was communication between Carmen and the work crew. Mother made a point to let Carmen know she had some concern about the vents being CLEANED after the old air conditioner had been removed after years of use.Carmen said she would "see what the work crew could do about cleaning the vents". When I returned to EP from Oregon in early July, we had the air conditioner running all the time and mother was really struggling with congestion and sneezing which she said always seemed to get worse when the air conditioner was on high. We also started to notice (even though we clean the inside of the upstairs 2-3x/wk) there was lots of dust and chunky debris being blown at different times out of the ducts and lots of sediment and rust on the hardwood floors. Mother hired a young lady to come to the house and remove the vent covers and check & clean inside the vents. To both their surprise what the young woman found was lots and lots of debris and rust dust as well as pieces of roofing material gathered in the ducts and in the corners of the ducts. When she reached back as far as she could with a hand broom, she had several PILES of rust, sediment, sand, and roofing particles that she pulled out. The task wasn't easy, and certainly not something a 75 yo woman could do herself! Had the installers just taken a shop-vac to the ducts AFTER the installation of the new air conditioner, mother wouldn't have struggled so much with her breathing and wouldn't have had to hire another person to do what mother requested Dosher to do in the first place. I understand it isn't something that is "NORMALLY" requested of the installers, but if the unit being replaced is 30-50 YEARS OLD one would think that it would generate a good deal of sediment and debris. If it was requested, and "out of the norm" for Dosher Refrigeration, they could have said they would clean the ducting for an additional $. In the FUTURE, I hope Dosher Refrigeration will give a little more consideration & attention, especially when REPLACING OLD AIR CONDITIONERS; the dust, rust and other debris and sediment particles can't be good for ANYONE'S HEALTH! A shop-vac is an especially handy tool to have on any repair or installation vehicle!
