He was very good. He was very reasonably priced. His estimates were right on. I like him as a contractor.

It is not a good thing when you hear "squish" underfoot as you walk onto your new hardwood floors at 6:00 in the morning. Our investigation revealed that our hot water heater was leaking and the water was entering into a closet, hallway and bedroom. By 7:00 I had Thomas on the line trying to help guide us in how to shut off the water on the hot water heater. We were not successful, so Thomas worked us in between appointments to come shut it off. The problem was that the valve had corroded and frozen, so it could not be turned fully closed. Once the water was shut off, Thomas talked to us about a new hot water heater, went to the supply house, and brought it to install. He did a wonderful job. He recommended and installed a pan to fit under the tank; it has a drain opening, and he ran it through the exterior wall so that if this happens in the future the water will drain outside instead of into the house. Why all water heaters are not installed this way, I have no idea; it is a wonderful idea, and Thomas did a very neat job of pulling it through our brick wall. He installed a different type of shut-off valve and I think we will be able to manage it much better if this happens in the future. Thomas was just wonderful, patiently taking all my early morning calls and working us in because of the emergency of not having the ability to shut off the water. And then he worked in the new installation. I feel very blessed that I had used him a couple of weeks earlier for another project, so I had established a relationship with a good plumber who would be so responsive when this emergency happened. He is a really good plumber and a very nice person. (By the way, the city inspector just came, inspected it, said it was a good job, and gave us a green ticket. Yay!)

Thomas arrived a 8:00 a.m. just as requested. He worked very efficiently and was very good about cleaning up after each job he did for us. When we got to the shower, he explained to me how the drain had been improperly installed by the builder, and then he went to the supply house to pick up what I needed. I have been very frustrated with the drain, and worried that it wasn't trapping hair, so I asked him to snake the drain just to be sure. The new drain works perfectly and I am very, very happy to have it installed properly now.

Tom does a great job. I trust him with my key and he was someone I knew. He had aces to my house and everything was fine.

The experience went great. The job was really pretty uneventful overall. We knew what needed to get done. They went in, confirmed it, and did the job. I felt like my money had been well-spent. Sometimes, it's hard to get them to call you back. I have to call two or three times occasionally.

Tom did a great job. His work is professional and neat. I wouldn't hesitate to hire him again.

Whole experience was great. Friendly & professional service on the phone with an estimate and scheduling the work. Tom showed up on time, worked steadily for over 3 hours. Even cut small hole through inside cabinet and moved dishwasher to run an extension cord over to plug up the Hot Water Dispenser. He went above and beyond what I expected and the price stuck to the estimate. The bill was itemized so I know exactly how much parts cost, labor, etc. I recommended Viper Plumbing to two people within an hour of his completing my job and would definitely recommend him for any plumbing job you might have.

My daughter lives in one of my houses and both toilets in my house were having problems with the water running, not flushing correctly, refilling etc and my wife got tired of me trying to make the repairs. I actually renewed my membership just to research a plumbing company. I contacted Viper and explained my situation. They provided me a quote on the service call and a per hour charge plus and estimate of how long it might take. My calculation was approximately $200 but I excluded parts. My daughter called them back and setup an appointment - they were on time, professional, repaired the toilets, cleaned up and departed within 1.5 hours. My daughter was very comfortable while they were there and has been happy with the repair.

Called on Monday, but couldn't get an appointment until Friday when I was due to leave town. I put myself on the waiting list and Viper was able to move me up a day early. (Good plumbers stay busy - fact of life, I had to wait my turn) Plumber arrived on time to do three repairs and stayed to do two more I had forgotton to include. It's been 90 days since, and the job(s) was well done.

He is so professional and so prompt! I assure you when I redo my 30 yr old bathroom, I will be hiring him. He goes the extra mile and gets A's across the board. He's just wonderful - and I can't say enough good things!

It was great. His prices are very reasonable and he is very helpful in explaining to me what was wrong so I could understand it. I was very happy with him.

Tom arrived right on time, just like we scheduled (about 2 weeks in advance). It took about 3 hours, but he only charged me for 2 because he had to stop and make a trip to pick up some specialized parts he didn't have. Despite the difficulties he encountered, he got right to it and got 'er done. All that stuff under the sink looks so much more professional than what was under there originally. It's been a few days now and everything's bone dry-excellent! Tom's a joy to work with-I'll certainly be calling him again. Because I had used Tom before, I didn't even ask for an estimate-I knew he'd treat me right. And he did-the countertop folks quoted me $500 the day before for the same job at which time I told them "thanks, but no thanks!" I'd rather use Joe-I mean Tom-the plumber.

It is a one-man business. He is the plumber and his wife is the receptionist and bookkeeper. You don't have the overhead of a bigger business to face. I got his company through Angie's List and I have had him as my plumber for about 3 years now. We have had two major remodels that required extensive plumbing work and he was the one that had our plumbing business without us having to consider any other companies. He got the job by virtue of a story I heard about him.

I was quoted one price, then 2 days before the construction was to be done, I was emailed a new amount. When questioned, I was told that the tub had to be special ordered. When challenged, I was then told the supplier did not have it. I then said, "Then go to a home improvement store and pick one up, I know you get contractor pricing." I was then informed that if I wanted it from a home improvement store, then I should go pick up the bathtub, etc. The price difference was to be $85.00. The job was canceled by me at that time.

My hot water tank sprung a leak sometime during the night. When I discovered the leak the next morning I shut off the water and called Viper Plumbing. I was told that Tom was on a job but would be able to come by late afternoon. He called to give me a heads up that he would arrive in 30 to 45 minutes which he did (about 4:20 p.m). After he diagnosed the problem he left to get the new tank before the supplier closed at 5:00 p.m. He finished the job about 6:30 p.m. While he worked he answered all my questions about the new tank explaining the differences from the old tank. Tom is extremely knowledgeable and friendly; a real professional, working late to the get the job done. I took a hot shower that night! This is the first time I have used Viper Plumbing; I will use them for all future plumbing needs.

I have had a chance to use this company several times now and I will stay with them. I like that they are local and one of the best plumbers that I have ever used in many cities. The serviceman is punctual, responsive and neat. He is professional and knowledgeable.

He responded immediately. He came on the day at the time mutually agreed. He completed the work quickly and improved the installation of the faucets by installing threaded adapters so that I, the homeowner, could replace the faucets in the future if needed without soldering. Extremely professional. He always provides a detailed written report of the work performed for our household records.

My hot water heater stopped working. I called Viper and they had someone there in less than 3 hours. It is a new house (for us) and when I opened the door to let him in I noticed the sprinklers were running and they were supposed to be off. He helped me with the controller to turn it off. He found a bad circuit breaker and had to go to the store to get a new one. He put the new one in and labeled the cabinet so it could be found later. He was patient with the questions I had.

Noticed an odor in my water heater closet that smelled like an electrical fire or short. Also noticed that the water was not getting as hot as usual. Because I thought there might be a short and for fear of a fire I turned off the breaker to the heater. Called Viper Plumbing at approximately 9:00 a.m. to report my problem, they had a master plumber at my house by 11:30 a.m. He quickly diagnosed the problem, fixed it and was gone by noon. Company was very responsive and professional.

Very pleased with professionalism of communication and quality of work. We will hire them again.

He did in a little less than two hours. He came out one day, got an idea of what needed to be done, got some model numbers, and then the next time he came out, he had everything.

Did not use them they wanted a $350 just to check it out, with no reference to the amount would be applied to the amount charged or work actually done. No help whatsoever, despite the fact we had no hot water for almost a week and stated to me, "it's going to be next Tuesday before we can get out there." The call was made on a Thursday.

Great service. I would recommend Viper 100%. They were also prompt and professional.

Tom is very knowledgeable in all areas of this type work. I admired his attention to detail and friendly outgoing nature. He didn't mind me hanging around and asking questions at all (hey, it's the holidays and I don't have anything else to do). I have a great relationship with another plumber that I would have used for this work except he doesn't like to get into remodeling projects. Therefore I feel lucky now that Tom was available. I'll definitely be using him some more as I've got two more bathrooms and a kitchen before my remodeling days on this house are done.

The job started with us noticing a leak under the kitchen sink on a weekend. As it wasn't a crisis, Mr. Jade was here first thing Monday morning. In addition to repairing the kitchen leak, he also inspected the 4 bathroom sinks and recommended that the 30 year old hot and cold shut offs be replaced with newer 1/4 turn angle stops, particularly since some were inoperable. The first flex lines he installed were defective, so he had to pick up new ones from his supplier. Everything now works and an additional leak under one of the sinks was repaired. We were very pleased with this experience and with Mr. Jade's level of knowledge. He was very accommodating in answering other plumbing questions we had. We will certainly call him again.
