Description of Work: I had a water leak from my water heater, placed in the garage. I was concerned it would get worse, and leak into the house. Tom came out the same day, repaired the leak. I spoke with Tom about replaceing the water heater due to its age, and he was Johnny on the spot, new water heater was replaced the next morning, and the price was less then he quoted.

Description of Work: Viper is absolutely tops. We needed to install a new toilet and called several companies to get an estimate. Viper's receptionist was outgoing, warm and courteous, outstanding in her desire to be of help and called back quickly with an estimate after talking to the owner. I also asked whether or not he could get us a better price for the toilet than one we had already found at a plumber's supply store. She quoted a price and completely understanding about our decision to buy it elsewhere. We set up an appointment for two days hence. The plumber called to let us know he was on his way that morning and arrived promptly and on time, something rare these days. Tom removed the old toilet, installed a new one, and installed new fixtures in two bathrooms. He kept us advised of what he was doing throughout the morning. We were delighted to see how efficient and quick Tom was. He made certain that everything worked properly, cleaned the work areas and took the old fixtures with him. Tom's attitude was so positive and very friendly. Considering all of the work Tom performed, his priceWe couldn't be happier with Viper Plumbing and Tom, the owner, and will definitely call upon him next time we need a plumber.

Description of Work: I was very excited to engage with my second Angie's List recommended vendor when I called Viper. We set an appointment to come an evaluate the job. Our sewer pump/lift station needed to be rebuilt. He gave a few scenarios, but did not appear to be eager to do the job. As he was leaving I asked when he thought he would be able to schedule the job, he replied that he would have to call his suppliers for the parts first. That was the last I heard from him. They have not followed up. It was obvious that he was not excited about the job; however, it would have been nice for him to decline while he was there or have called me after the fact to decline the work. Very disappointed in such a highly rated Angie's List vendor. It has cost me valuable time in getting this repair completed.

Description of Work: Tom repaired 2 toilets, changing the flappers, fill valves and one angle stop. He also repaired a leaking gate valve (between the house and water meter). He also gave me a quote to replace the gate valve and to install a new toilet.

Description of Work: The pipe between the water meter and my home developed a leak and the yard was saturated. Tom located the leak and replaced the pipe within the time frame he projected and within the cost estimate he quoted.

Description of Work: Repaired a leak under my kitchen sink. Adjusted a drain in my bath room. Put valves on some of my outside faucets. Checked out the insides of a commode, which I thought, was malfunctioning.

Description of Work: Had a Briggs Commode tank that was cracked and a master bath commode that was leaking and needed new guts. They matched the commode with supplier, returned and installed new commode and adjusted water level. Verified all was ok. Removed the guts from the broken tank and installed it on the master bath. After all was changed out, verified operation of master bath commode was in good working order. No leaks on either.

Description of Work: Tom Jade repaired the leaking master bathroom tub/shower faucet, a sink faucet and two outside hose bibs. He retrieved new stems for the tub and the sink faucets, removed the outside hose bibs and installed new quarter-turn bibs, installed new mortar around the outside hose bibs and then checked all areas for any problems.

Description of Work: On Christmas Eve, around 8:30 p.m. my family noticed water on the garage floor, running into the driveway, and coming into the house. We soon discovered that the water heater in the garage was leaking. We tried to turn the water off to the tank, but could not. We ended up turning the water off at the street and then tried to reach a plumber. After calling literally every plumber in the Arlington yellow pages, and being told that they had no one available or suggesting I call the city to turn off the water. My mother-in-law reached Tom at Viper Plumbing. He said he could be at my home in 2 hours; he made it in about 1.5 hour. Tom went to work draining the water heater and cutting off the gate valve and copper pipe going to the water heater, and then he installed new valves and connectors. Capped off the hot side line and turned on the meter so we could have water for that side of the house. He cleaned up and removed the old heater.
