Description of Work: HE CHECKED EVERYTHING AND MADE A REPAIR AND I BOUGHT A NEW THERMOSTAT. ADDITIONAL FEES WERE $208.

Description of Work: Annual check up of AC/Heat Unit.....was very professional & courteous and suggested a couple of preventative measures that we will consider.

Description of Work: Had to follow all the gas lines in the house to determine why the fireplace wasn't getting enough gas pressure. Guy was very nice and extremely professional.

Description of Work: Initial contact was with Curtis, he got caught in traffic, but did call to let me know he was running late. Very professional, instead of purchasing just the AC we bought an entire HVAC system, and had the ducts replaced. Originally we scheduled for a Wednesday (?) but an emergency for a couple with children in the Texas heat resulted in them asking us to postpone, which I was willing to do since they agreed to install on Saturday. Mitch and Derek arrived a bit late on Saturday, but were very professional and quickly went to work. Apparently Curtis has underestimated the amount of duct needed, as well as the Flue, and they did not have the parts on hand. I expected to hear that there would be an additional charge, but instead I received an apology and asked when would be the best time for us to have them finish the job. They were out the following Saturday and quickly took care of it. We have a second unit that needs to be replaced and I plan to have them do the job as well. Very pleased.

Description of Work: They replaced my ac unit. Unit did not work for 9 days. Kept telling me thought issue was taken care of. Finally fixed on day 10 I think. Claimed new unit would distribute air evenly. Has not happened. Took month to get a person to inspect unit. Said would bring someone out to fix gouges in wall that installers did. Air grate hole was done horrible very unprofessional look. Still no reply or follow up. Have called roughly 3 times(and thats being nice) to attempt get wall fixed and unit inspected by city all to no avail. At this point I want some recompense for the clear disrespectful lack of care for their customers. I got 5 yrs maint serv free and clearly that is for not because I can't even get them to do initial completion.

Description of Work: I've been using Force Home Services for about 10 years. I subscribe to their "Comfort Club" gold plan and for $34/mo I get two free inspections/service (Fall and Summer) on three units and 10% off of any unscheduled service. I've always found their techs to be knowledgeable, friendly and punctual. They communicate well, and get the job done right the first time. In addition to my own house, they've taken care of my mothers and multiple rental properties as well. I appreciate them and will continue to use them in the future.

Description of Work: I bought the $99 big deal to replace an outside faucet and got exactly what I expected. I'm sorry I don't remember the technician's name but he was very nice and professional. A job well done.

Description of Work: They were very efficient, and extremely knowledgeable. I would gladly hire them for any work we needed with A/C but this deal did not work for us.

Description of Work: Our house wasn't able to cool down and called this company based on Angie's List rating. Technician looked at units and found that a capacitor was blown and replaced it and said there was other damage that they found that was contributing to this problem and it was only a matter of time before the unit would die, esp due to the age. He also put in 2 lbs of Freon (R22). The problem persisted; and I had to call in another company, Allied American in Lewisville, on 7/25 who finally fixed the problem. They went up into the attic and manually defrosted a unit that was causing the issue, recovered the R22 and sealed and leveled a plenum. Additional cost was $347 AND they told me they charge quite a bit less for R22 than Force Home Services. The other thing I didn't like was that Force Home Services wanted a guy to come out right away to replace my a/c units. After all was said and done, I wasted a lot of money and feel that Force Home Services was more concerned about making more $ off of me by trying to sell me something I didn't need. It's 9/2 and my a/c has been great ever since because I called ALLIED AMERICAN. They were honest and fixed my problem right away. Call them NOT Force Home Services.

Description of Work: My AC was blowing hot air so I purchased their Angie's Lost offer for a $30 service visit. I had an appointment scheduled quickly and my tech showed up right on time. A quick look showed I had a freon leak. Based on the age of the system, we discussed options - looking for the leak, recharging the freon to see if it held, replacing the whole system. I opted to just replace the freon and see how long it lasted. So far, so good as far as cooling goes! |Long story longer, they contacted me again recently to let me know if I wanted to replace the whole system now would be the time to do it. I got what I think is a fair price and will likely be replacing it soon. All of their reps are very professional. They replaced my second AC last summer so I trust they'll do the same excellent job again. Good company to work with.

Description of Work: I purchased the water heater flush for $49.00 with home inspection. I have two water heaters, and had them do both. They did it as expected. I was not able to purchase two packages, and they charged me $132.00 for the second water heater. I felt that they did a fine job on the water heaters, but did a very hard sell to try and get other work done, including replacing toilets that were in perfectly good working order. I had a small leak in one, and the estimate to repair was too high for parts that cost only a few dollars. They insisted at looking at every plumbing thing in the house so as to do a thorough inspection. I really only wanted the water heaters done, as my home is only 10 years old. At any rate, I felt it was too high pressure to do more work. But, again, the work that they did was fine.
