Description of Work: I had a new faucet that was installed in 11/2011. It started leaking immediately but the plumber who installed it said it was the faucet was defective and if i need to replace that I would have to pay him full price to reinstall. Plus, if my new faucet is defective again, that will be on me again to replace and reinstall unless I ask him to install a faucet provided by him. I finally asked Force Home Service to resolve the issue for me. It turned out another new faucet has the same issue, flashing water leaked through the base of the faucet foundation into the cabinet below. The problem was correctly "diagnosed" and fixed by applying additional caulking around the base of the faucet foundation. Force Home Service followed through with their promise to fix the problem for me (blaming the faucet and tell me to keep buying new faucets is NOT solving my problem). They, instead, investigated the cause and came up with a solution to correct that cause did help fixing my issue. Their persistence and work ethic/e dedication are very much appreciated. BIG PLUS #1: they are totally organized. Someone is always answering the company's phone. BIG PLUS #2: They came on time for each appointment that I had with them. I have had many Angie's list contractors who ignored my phone calls & email and not show up at all on appointments claiming they are ... too busy (considered the fact that I have to take off from work to stay home and wait for someone who don't show up, that makes Force Home Service the best of them all!).

Plumber was dressed professionally, was courteous, and efficient in his work. He went to Lowe's to purchase needed part and when he returned completed install. Also checked toilet which wasn't working properly. Immediately found that water was not turned on properly. Turned it on and problem fixed. Was very pleased with work. Outstanding value!

+ 0 moreHe did everything asked. Except fixing a faucet drip. It needed parts and it was obscure manufacturer that no longer does business in the states. He helped id the manufacturer and I did my own research and found a part online. I replaced it myself but it was easy, just replace a cartridge.
Description of Work: Address a problem with sewer gas escaping from a shower drain. Fixed a clogged faucet in a bar area. Attempted to fix a leak faucet drip in a bathroom.

Let all the naysayers who say that you can't get quality work done on an Angie's List Deal take notice....David from Force Home Services was awesome! Super professional, courteous, honest, and educated. Clean appearance, had booties on to protect home floors even before I asked, worked diligently and answered all my general homeowner questions. I purchased the $99 for 2 hours of plumbing Angies List deal they sponsored and in those two hours of work David installed two shower heads, replaced all filling parts in a toilet, replaced a toilet shutoff valve, inspected two water heaters, and most imporantly changed out a leaking gas pipe off my main meter that serviced my outdoor grill. This even included the time it took him to go to the supply store to get the parts for my outdoor gas pipe. All I had to pay for at the time of the visit was parts which I am very sure he charged me near cost of parts at Lowes. I will absolutely use this company and recommend them to colleagues and neighbors. I am extremely confident I received the same level of service had I paid their regular rate which was quoted as twice as much. Awesome service, awesome impression, and I'm glad now have a go to plumbing company.

Description of Work: The technician showed up and in a hurry to get in and out of there. I asked to him to caulk the bathtub and not only did he not complete the job it has already fallen off and looks worse than before. He really didnt want to do more than he had to and complained that his boss really didnt like working with Angies List because there is no money in it. Now Im back to square one with my bathtub needing caulking and out of $89.

+ -1 moreThe plumber called ahead and arrived on time. He explained what the total cost would be ($300) and we showed him the layout of the situation. He had to leave briefly to get another drill extension, but was back in about 30 min and then proceeded to do the work. The plumbing inside under a lavatory looks well done and neat and includes a handy shutoff valve for the exterior hose bib for freezing weather. The bib is of good quality and is installed in a way that it can be replaced if it fails. The plumber completed the work reasonably quickly and cleaned up well afterward. The remaining balance was $102, as stated up front. We are very pleased with the result and with the availability of the good plumbing deal from Angie's List.
Description of Work: Used an Angie's List special for 2 hrs of plumbing work for $99---about half price. We wanted a new hose bib installed on the west side of our house where we didn't have one.

+ 0 moreThis was $99 for 2 hours of plumbing work. I purchased multiple faucets because I was unsure of how much work could be accomplished in 2 hours. I was able to get the kitchen faucet and 1 bathroom faucet replaced. I had 15 minutes remaining but was told starting another faucet would result in the entire cost of a new faucet. I must admit that part of the time was spent cleaning the area before installing the new hardware. I was happy to finally get my leaky kitchen faucet replaced for the 99. I had been quoted a much higher price by other plumbers. The second faucet was an added bonus. The technician was very cordial and willing to answer my questions. I would definitely use this service again.
Description of Work: This was $99 for 2 hours of plumbing work. I mainly wanted to get a leakly kitchen faucet replace. The bathroom faucets are older and some of the stopper are working improperly which cause leakage on the cabinet floors.

The other we will wait on. No pressure to buy anything, which I liked. He was on time and did a good job. I'm sure we will use them again.

+ -1 moreOur experience with this company has been frustrating. They were very nice and professional but the quality of their work was poor. After they completed the work, the heat shifted throughout our house. Some rooms were very warm, others were cold. We believe the dampers were set incorrectly. After multiple phone calls to get a visit from business, the owner eventually came out and determined duct work was installed incorrectly. They then wanted to charge us close to $100 to fix the issues that were a result of their poor work. After three to four years of trying to resolve the issues, we were done with this company.

+ 0 moreI bought 2 hours service for $89. The plumber worked 51/2 hours, so I paid for an additional 31/2hours plus parts. He worked straight thru, no lunch break and tried to unplug my drain after installing my new faucets.
Description of Work: Put in 3 new bathroom faucets and a new kitchen faucet. I also had him try to open a clogged drain. When I flushed the master bath toilet, the drain backed up into my tub and shower. He tried to open the drain from the roof, but did not have other equipment with him to do more to get the drain unplugged. I was very happy with the work which was completed in a timely manner.

+ -1 moreI contacted Force Home Services to repair my air conditioner which was blowing hot air.I was a little frantic because I'm in the middle of remodeling my home and I had a painting crew due to arrive at my home at 8:00 a.m. on Monday. I discovered that my air conditioner needed service late on Thursday night. I called Force at 7 a.m. Friday and they squeezed me in on a very busy day for late that afternoon. My time frame was 3-5, and Ryan the service tech, arrived around 6. I thought that was pretty good for a last minute request. Ryan was very polite and professional. He took great care when entering my home onto my newly laid tile floor by covering his shoes. He was very thorough during his evaluation of the problem and discovered that I needed a new capacitor. He gave me the estimate of the cost prior to repairing the unit. Several minutes later the house was cooling down. I asked Ryan about the plumbingservices that Force offers because I need to have a bathroom vanity installed after the painting is completed. Ryan was very complimentary about the plumber that Force Home Services employs, going as far as saying that he receives the highest ratings of all their employees on Angies list. I will positively be using Force Home Services for that job too. For the record, when Ryan left my home near 8:00 p.m., I asked him if he was now calling it a day, assuming I was his last call. He said no, he had two more jobs to do. His day started early that morning. Wow, what a hard working young man. Great job!!

The technician was friendly and courteous and fixed all of my plumbing problems (toilet and bathtub). In addition, he grouted my toilet to the floor since my toilet was not firmly fixed to the floor. The technician was very helpful and fixed everything promptly. In addition, the price was reasonable and much less than what the plumbers in Dallas charge. I would hire them again in a second.

+ 3 moreOn the day of the installation (Thursday), he called about 10:30am to ask if it might be possible to come early since he had finished his previous job. Sure! He arrived at 11:00am and did a superb with the Moen faucet in the shower, as well as installing a new polished brass spout in the jacuzzi tub. He was also able to take the nice looking trim from the shower fixture and move it to the tub that needed it. The tub fixtures collectively look MUCH better. When David and I first talked on the phone, he said my type of job would likely take between 2 and 3 hours, and I agreed to pay for the additional hour if need be. With David working as quickly as he did, he completed the job within the promotional 2 hours for $89! Again, another gem of integrity! I've found a couple of great plumbers through Angie's List, but this experience with Force Home Services was exceptional! The new Moen Monticello faucet looks spectacular and works with precision. Today's shower was the best shower I ever experienced! And the jacuzzi tub looks much better with the new polished brass spout. Thank you David! Thank you Force Home Services! Description of Work: I had some questions prior to getting started, so I emailed the folks at Force Home Services and got a prompt and very friendly response from Teri. Based on the type of questions I had, she felt I should speak with David, the Master Plumber. I called David and explained what I had in the way of Moen fixtures that I wanted to use to replace the old Mixet fixtures, and with his outstanding information, I opted to not install a second Moen faucet because of needing an additional valve and a lot more cost from cutting into a tiled wall. Nothing was wrong with the existing fixture other than it being ugly. He and I hatched a plan to transfer the better looking brass trim from the shower to the tub instead of the new faucet. I sincerely appreciated David's integrity! He was scheduled for Thursday, between 12:00 noon and 2:00pm.

+ 0 moreI first received a call about 3:30 that he was on his way but he had not had time for 'lunch'! So I agreed to let him get something to eat before coming to our house. When he arrived, he carefully covered his work shoes with surgeon booties so as to not track in our house anything he had been in and he was very grateful for the break for lunch as I told him what we wanted done. He explained that to replace the fixtures on the tub there would be a lot of prep work just to get to the back of the drain and fixtures. He also explained that he could give us an estimate and break in price because this contract would not allow that work due to time constraints. I accepted his explanation and he began on the sink installation. He replaced the hot/cold valves and mesh hose lines coming into the sink along with the new J-pipe for the drain to the sink. After finishing that job he replaced the float mechanism to our toilet and began to clean up after his work. He stayed much longer than the required two hours (3 1/4 hours) and he was very helpful in giving us suggestions on how we could prepare for the job on the tub so we could save us money if he was to return under a new contract to do that work. He was very cordial and confident in his work and even hauled away our old sink and cabinets,(which I had left on the curb for pick up.) I would reccomment this company to anyone without any reservation. The work was done successfully with very neat clean up and his services were very professional.
Description of Work: Two-fold: A) Replace the fixtures on our mid-century bath tub. B) Install and replace connections/drain pipe to the lavatory sink. The serviceman explained the first item could not be done in the time fram alloted; so we only had him replace our sink with a new stand alone sink and also replacing the H/C feed lines with new fixtures and steel-mesh hoses along with a new J-pipe drain connection. IN addition he replaced the float-control valve to our toilet.
