+ -1 moreService went very well. The tech called ahead to confirm the appointment, and arrived on-time. He was very polite and professional. He wore booties in the house to prevent tracking in mud and debris -- we really appreciate that. He inspected and serviced the system. We also had a minor issue with our AC system we asked the tech to look at, and while he could not find the cause, the issue disappeared while he was trying to find the cause. I wish I knew what the cause was, but as least it's resolved. I'm very pleased with the service they provided -- enough so that I signed up for regular service from them.

+ -1 moreThis was a great service. They were very professional, quick and clean. They explained in detail what was going in and what it could do for our home. As well, they came out a second time, for free, to reposition the units and explain the smell. It had an odd smell (ozone burning smell) for a while because it was new. After repositioning the units, the smell went away.

+ -1 moreThe Force Home Services personnel arrived punctually and quickly completed the installation service. As a follow up, one evening about a month later I noticed water dripping from the attic through a ceiling light fixture in my hallway. I called Force Home Services, and Demone arrived the next day. He immediately adjusted the tilt on a humidifier line, and it has been just fine since. In addition, he suggested adding "float switches" on the units so the drip pan will never overflow. He also discovered that both of my thermostats were not properly working, which caused the a/c to be on at the same time as the heat. He returned the next day and installed new thermostats. He also suggested "hard start" kits for the two a/c units, and I also had that work done to reduce energy costs. I decided to purchase a monthly maintenance agreement with Force Home Services because Demone was so observant, made very beneficial suggestions, and worked diligently to ensure that everything was properly working before he left. I hope to add UV lights to both units some day soon, and will certainly have the work done by Force Home Services.

+ -1 moreI called in the morning and the plumber was here the same day, just a few hours later. He was very professional and diagnosed the issue promptly. Luckily, it was a minor quick-fix and he was in and out beforeI knew it.
Description of Work: My problem was just a leaking shower faucet that needed to be tightened to prevent water from going back down the pipe and prevent further damage than a minor water stain on ceiling below. The plumber was able to quickly diagnose the issue, tighten the faucet and stop the leak.

Not the case here. If you see the Clean and checkup service coupon for $39, it will be some of the best money spent. You will get to see how HVAC professionals SHOULD operate.

+ -1 moreDavid called prior to our appointment time and said he was on his way. He arrived within thirty minutes. I was delighted to see he had paper shoe covers which he put on before even stepping into the house. We had a brief exchange of introductions and he began the project of switching out a toilet. David was so polite as I kept asking questions and he patiently provided answers. After his task was complete he completely cleaned up his work area and left nothing for me to tend to. David provided information in regard to the specific toilet I had wanted which included a dual flushing feature. It works perfectly!! I was also informed to call him if there was any problem what so ever. I do not expect any issues but I would be comfortable in calling him if need be. The pricing was as expected and quoted. I would have no hesitation in using this company again or referring anyone in need of the services provided by the company.
Description of Work: In response to an e-mail offer from Angies's list, I called Force Home Services. The phone receptionist was very friendly and provided some initial information. I had set an appointment for the following week and had requested a different item than the one mentioned in the offer. I realized there would be a price adjustment for the item I requested. She did now know what the price would be. The very polite young lady called me back the same day to inform me of the price difference for the item I specifically requested. I set another appointment as the product needed to be ordered. Wonderful and considerate customer service.

Description of Work: Servicer came and was very proffessional, very explanatory in letting us know what he was doing and if there were any potential problems. He went over our current HVAC system, and helped us understand what we have, and how it worked. (We just bought our house a couple months ago.) Very helpful and very nice.

Description of Work: I purchased the two hour plumbing services from Force One through Angie's List. they seemed like they had a "good" reputation and I was told by Randi - the woman who took my call that their plumbers were all master certified. I had a leak in my sink so I went to Lowe's , spoke to several different folks, got all the necessary hardware and parts so that the plumber can just perform the plumbing services. When I spoke with several people at Lowe's they guesstimated replacing the water supply valve and the new connection with the push valve should take 30-45 max for each sink. I also bought new hardware to replace the existing faucets since I was trying to fix the leak. Well, it took a lot longer..and I was told that the way the faucets were attached, I had to literally remove the sink to have easier access. While the plumber was working to install the new hardware on the sink, he broke the sink. Not only that, since he told me that the only way he can remove the hardware was to lift the sink from my tile counter, when he tried to do that to my other sink, he lifted my tile. So now, I have to replace two sinks, replace my bathroon vanity counter and I have one non-working sink. I would not recommend them.

+ -1 moreI contacted them with several questions, they responded very promptly, suggested I send them a picture of the closets in which my heaters are, they told me there was not sufficient space for the humidifiers, offered a different service instead, which I was not interested in. They apologized and suggested I request a refund from Angie's List.

+ -1 moreHe arrived 1 1/2 hour after the appointed time I had requested the first appointment of the day, hoping that way there won't be any reason for a delay. When he was at my house he did a good job checking the system, making suggestions for improvements.He also installed a new thermostat in the master bedroom. I also decided to purchase their service plan which provides one ac spring tune up, one water heater tune up and one furnace fall tune up. I just hope they are on time next time!!

He replaced a fill valve on a toilet and cleaned a drain that had given us problems. Since there was time remaining I asked him to look at a leaky outside faucet. He was able to remove the old faucet and found a new one that was a perfect fit. Mission accomplished!

A couple of days later the faucet started leaking again. My handyman was here that day mowing my grass and saw that it was leaking and fixed it on the spot.

He replaced the hose bib on the faucet on the rear of the house. It had been leaking for some time, and I kept putting off the thought of trying to have it replaced. Then one day I received an email from Angie's List with and offer for Force Home Services Special of $99.00 for Outdoor Hose Faucet Replacement Plus Whole House Plumbing Inspection. As a past Angie's List customer, I decided to plunge ahead. So glad I did - now when cold weather hits and I cover the faucet - no more frozen mess! Also, it was reassuring to learn that our plumbing throughout the house (hot water heater included) was in good shape. I would definitely use Force Home Services again.
