It was going not too badly until the service repair person looked at the coil handler. He said it was tilted and the water from the pan was draining down the back of it. He showed me what was happening. Was told that it needed to be replaced. He then prepared the paperwork for the maintenance check of the two a/c's I have and gave a detailed report stating a lot of "add ons" that I could get as well which I never asked for in the first place. First and foremost I only wanted a maintenance check on my two a/c's to make sure they were in working condition. Bottom line and my understanding that since the coil handler couldn't be replaced I pretty much needed a new one. Well I had a second opinion and lo and behold that repair person fixed the problem. Needless to say I wasn't impressed with the repair person from Force Home Services and won't be using them again.

Consulted Angie's list because Al's Plumbing (and heating and air conditioning) in Plano had given me an estimate of $857 to fix a flapper on a toilet ($632.50) and to take one faucet apart ($225.00) to see if it was even possible to fix it. (emphasizing that it "might" require additional expense if that wasn't enough to fix it). I sent them on their way and started researching on Angie's list. I went with Force Home Services and scheduled an appointment for today. Their plumber, Guy, just left and guess how much it cost? By going through and using the coupon on Angie's list, it cost me a grand total of $139! AND, he fixed BOTH master bath faucets, not just one!!!! (Flapper cost $28.00+$111.00 Angie's List coupon for 2 hours labor.) I AM A HAPPY CAMPER! (And, I'm trying to figure out other ways to spread the word about Al's Plumbing RIPOFF!)

Toilet was stopped up. It could be unstopped with a plunger or an auger. Plumber said he did have a line snake on the truck and started to leave but knocked on the door and said he did a boroscope that he thoughtr would reach the obtsturction. He then proceded to use the boroscope to push the obstruction all the out to the city sewer. This was great as it saved them from making another trip and got the toilet unstopped.

We supplied the toilet and Force Home Services installed it and disposed of the old one. Everything went well.

Purchased coupon but missed expiration date; not used.

It is A Great Deal! Very pleasant experience. I bought the great deal from Angie's list. Then I called to make appointment. The phone is answered, and my appointment was scheduled right away. On the service day, Guy was supposed to come in 10am-12pm. He arrove around 1pm. He was delayed by the previous job. He apologized for the delay, and started to work right away. The reconnect took him about a little over 1 hour. After the complete test, he did thorough clean up. Great service!

The morning of June 5, 2013, I happened to discover a major water leak behind my refrigerator. It was clear that I had an emergency. I was concerned about water getting under the refrigerator and short-circuiting something. I called Force, which I had used before, and said that I had an emergency and asked if they would send the plumber who had done work for me in the past. They said that the plumber I had requested from preceding visit did not have free time that day but that they would send someone else. The person they sent turned out to be outstanding too, very experienced and knowledgeable. He diagnosed the connection problem, voluntarily mopped and sponged up all the leak, and fit the connection back and moved the refrigerator back. I have twice used Force now, both times on Angie's List coupons. The first time I had a $99 coupon which involved several matters, including installing a garbage disposal, and it went quickly and efficiently and flawlessly, and I considered the plumber they sent out to be among the finest I have ever seen, extremely conscientious, knowledgeable, experienced, nice,outstanding. Since it took awhile, the total cost for this second visit was the $55 for a coupon, which I bought before the plumber's visit, plus extra time of $27, totaling $82.00. Both times the plumbers were very experienced and knowledgeable, among the best I have ever encountered, and they were both nice, very conscientious. I consider them outstanding, A plus each visit.

I took a chance on an unknown company and used an Angie's List "2 Hour Plumber Special" to have some of my 20+ year old toilets updated. Three of my four toilets really needed it. They did not immediately answer my initial e-mail, but when I called them they promptly made an appointment that was convenient for me. They also made the appointment with a small time window -- and I appreciate this. Being about 8 miles outside the nearest town, I usually get the "...we'll be there sometime between 9am and 5pm..." routine. The FHS plumber (I cannot remember his name): 1. Called before coming as I asked. 2. Arrived on time. 3. Had a professional appearance and spoke intelligently. 4. Took 2 hours to fix/update the 4 toilets (using my parts). 5. Clearly explained the 1/2 hour cost to do the extra work. 6. Turned off the water to the house. 7. Did the job outside (which included a bit of welding). 8. Turned the water back on. 9. Accepted my check as payment for the balance. 1 0. Sincerely THANKED ME for the work. I am planning on installing a new hot water heater within the next 30 days -- and will give them the first shot at the job.

Plumber was professional, courteous, did a great job, and left everything clean and tidy. I'll use Force Home Services again, and would be happy to recommend them.

Date is approximate. Purchased a special $89 for 2 hour Angies List special. I don't believe the 2 guys they sent out were actual plumbers. They definetly didn't know much of anything and it ended up costing me a lot more in the long run. DO NOT GET HOOKED INTO THEIR BATE AND SWITCH.

I called to schedule an appointment and they told me they didn't service Collin County. So I paid for nothing.

young man was very professional, explained all concerns he had about the system and left us an estimate to ponder. no hard sell. very pleased.

Arrived on time, very courtious and knew his jab and preformed it professionaly, would use again. Have sold this home since service but would call contractor again if needed

The whole experience went great. They were very professional when setting up the time for the work to be done. David arrived on time and did a great job doing all the work needed to be completed.

I bought the deal off Angies list for $55 as i needed to have 2 outside leaky faucets fixed and attach a Y connector to one of them. Also one of the faucets I had to use all my strength to try and close it. The technician called first and arrived on time..very polite, very nice. The work was completed in well under 1 hour and now both faucets and the y connector are perfect. I'm sure if I had anything else that needed attention he would have looked at that too, since the deal was for an hour of labour. All in all a great experience and I would highly recommend.

Not great initially. Technician installed a thermostat and then asked if I was having trouble with my thermostat. Asked if I wanted a programmable thermostat. I said that yes, that was the deal that I had purchased. He said "oh, I just grabbed a thermostat. I didn't get a programmable one. I'll have to come back to install a programmable one." In the meantime, he went ahead and inspected my system, found it was low on refrigerant, and then told me I had a leak and needed a new system. He made recs for all the things he thought I needed and said I could either 1) get it serviced to see how long it would last or 2) I could replace with one of several different options. He said he'd come back to replace the thermostat and service the AC with several pounds of refrigerant on a day they could take efficiency readings (needed a warm day). Planned day had to be rescheduled due to cool and rainy weather. Finally, the replacement/ servicing was completed, and technician reminded me there was a leak somewhere in the system that would impact AC efficiency and that this was the refrigerant that is being phased out. Owner returned in a week or two and provided a comprehensive estimate of AC/ heating options. He conducted himself professionally, and has followed up to see if I have questions. Category above: would I use this provider in the future? My answer - Maybe. I liked their plumbing work from a different service call. I have reservations about the heating / AC based on my first experience with the thermostat; the technician was unprepared to provide the purchased service and was more focused on selling me more. I was, however, more comfortable with the person who provided the estimate for a system replacement. He conducted himself professionally.

Force Home plumber did a great job. He brought in my new toilet, removed and hauled off the old. He trimmed the carpet to adjust its fit to the new toilet base. He also left everything neat and clean upon his completion of the job.

The deal was worth it. I gave him some potential follow up work but never heard back from him. David, the plumber, continued to tell me how much time I have left so I could prioritize my list. As he completed one task, he would find me to tell me how much time he had left and asked me what to do next. He was organized and on task. He had a really good grasp of time management for how long each plumbing issue would take.

Plumber was very knowledgeable and friendly. Addressed our concerns and fixed the problems.

It was excellent. We had used them via an Angie's List Big Deal in the past and bought it again when offered this time. David was the plumber and he does an outstanding job and is very professional and helpful.

I purchased the $55 ?big deal? from Angie?s list for Force Home Services. It was the best $55 I have ever spent. Randy was on time and professional throughout the entire process. After surveying the situation, he clearly explained that the ?big deal? purchase would cover all services and that that wouldn?t be any additional changes. I will definitely be using again.

I made the appointment over a week ago. I asked for the 8:00 AM appointment so it would not disrupt the rest of my day. By 8:15 no one had arrived or called. I called the office but it was :after hours". I called again at 9:00 AM since no one had called or arrived. I was told the cleaning crew had not arrived for work and they were sending one of their installers. I was told the person would call me to confirm his arrival time. At 9:15 AM still no one called. I called the office again and told her I still had not heard from anyone. I then cancelled the duct cleaning service and my appointment for a system check-up which was to occur on May 31st. This is a very unprofessional and unreliable company. I chose them because they were "A" rated on Angie's list. This is the 2nd time now that I have used Angie's List and have been disappointed. I will definitely not renew my membership.

Force did a very nice job for us. We had originally purchased a toilet replacement service. The plumber who arrived worked with us to replace the broken parts in the toilet we currently have, which is a commercial grade toilet. He also reinstalled the toilet so that it sits properly and does not rock. They applied our original coupon amount to the replacement parts and we paid an additional fee for the reinstallation. The service was done well. The toilet sits nicely and works wonderfully. I thought the reinstallation fee was a bit high, but since they allowed us to switch services from what we originally purchased, I cannot really complain. All-in-all, I will call them again when we need a plumber.
