+ -1 moreThis was an Angie's list Big Deal and it WAS a good deal. He did the repairs and work quickly and efficiently. If I would have had to pay for a plumber by the hour it would have cost a great deal more than this.

+ -1 moreThe service I got from Force Home Services was okay. It was kind of long. He was here until almost 10:00 at night. I don't know. When he looked at something, like the showerhead started leaking. He was willing to leave it like that and there was just continuous. I was like, "Can you do something about that before you go?" He was very sweet and very accommodating, but I felt like I had to ask him to do things. "Let me go back to the truck. I'll be right back." It was just like a long time for minimal stuff, I thought. I was just like, "It's 10:00 and you're leaving." He said he was heading to the next place and I was like, "The next place?" I have no idea. He cut his arm or something. He got blood on my walls and was using my towel to wipe it. Everything seemed like a took a long time. He was here for three hours for minimal maintenance work. I shouldn't have had to go find you when you're leaving to say, "My showers leaking. It wasn't leaking before I called you. I know you checked into something that you don't want to do today, but I don't want a steady stream of water coming out." They got here a lot later than I thought. It was about 7:00 p.m. when he came. He was not good at explaining what he was doing to me. It was kind of frustrating. If you know what you're doing, just explain it, so I know what we're doing here.

+ 0 moreI have a yearly contract with them where they come out and service the air conditioner in the spring or summer and the furnace in fall or winter. Also included in the contract is a plumbing check once a year. They do a great job. I have had difficulty getting air into one room and they have come out and looked at for me.

+ -1 moreI met at least 6 people that worked there from the 10 different times they had to come out. Everyone was extremely nice. Ron, the owner, even came out on 2 occasions to assist his crew because they had screwed things up so bad. None of them seemed to know what was going on though. They were sloppy with the install and only after I told them about breaking the trim around a door did they fix it. I finally (almost a year later) got my money back (about $250) for the quarterly maintenance plan that I paid. I obviously didn't want them coming out quarterly to maintain anything. I wouldn't ever use them again. I don't trust their judgement at all.
Description of Work: The 1st guy said my filter was in wrong. I let him know I did that the day before and it was acting up before that. They had another guy come out and fix a couple things. After I showed him my zone board, he said that needed to be replaced, as well. I paid for this service. The A/C unit still acted up so I called them out again. They then told me I needed an entirely new unit. I went ahead and replaced the unit. The A/C was still not working. They came out another time to repair the damage they caused when installing the unit. They came out again and replaced all of the the thermostats in the house. The guy didn't hook up the thermostat correctly upstairs so it caused the heater to run at it's hottest temp ALL DAY. I came home to dead houseplants, melted candles, and hot door knobs and walls. I'm very lucky that my house didn't catch on fire. That's how hot my house was upstairs. I have a thermometer that stops at 110 degrees and it was at least 110 in my house. They came out 2 other times after that. I eventually had to call another A/C company to assist them. They clearly didn't know what was going on. I have since had to pay another company $400 because the new A/C unit that Force Home Services installed wasn't compatible with my outside until. This was causing it to freeze up because the inside was working harder than the outside. That seems like it would be something they should have caught when they intalled the unit. Finally, after the new company fixed all of their mistakes, my A/C works like it should.

+ -1 moreWater line had busted after hours and Force Home services came out within an hour of being called. the man who fixed it was very professional and explained everything he was doing. There was no wasted effort on his part or hidden fees and expenses. The work area was kept clean and he even was able to cut the sheet rock in way that was very easy for me to patch.

+ -1 moreThe techs were very professional. They arrived on time, explained and showed me everything they were talking about and provided recommendations and pricing for those items. Overall, I was very impressed with the service provided.
Description of Work: I initially bought a big deal coupon to do an A/C tune-up and inspection on our new house. After some recommendations were made, the drain pan was un-clogged and a float valve installed to prevent overflow from occurring in the future should the drain line become clogged again.

+ -1 moreI was not very impressed with Force Home Services. I paid the charges for them to do that every single time. I actually diagnosed the problem. I was so frustrated. I didn't even use all my coupons the first time. I lost the money of that. The first guy who came out was kind of a mess. I thought that he should have known how to check the different hoses but he didn't. There was a leak in those little things I pulled out of the kitchen sink to wash with. It was leaking from that but he didn't really look at that. I felt kind of ripped off a little bit. I called their office and they told me they would call me back but they never did. That's frustrating. I would never use them again. The second pair of gentlemen who came out were nice. The first guy I actually called off and told them to never let him come back again. He was lazy and he didn't want to look at anything. He wanted me to go to the store and get stuff.
Description of Work: The guys from Force Home Services came out probably two or three different times for their plumbing services.
