Great company.

Service man showed up on time and was very courteous. He not only did the repair, but took the time to inform me exactly what he did and why.

Young man was quick and professional. Appreciated his fast resolution of a potentially hazardous problem.

I called BCI back after tile work and they came the same day and made repairs in a reasonal amount of time. My 91 year old Mother and her caregiver live in the house and the BCI worker was very polite and thoughtful. Their professionalism and quality of work has made me a lifetime customer.

It took a couple of days to get past playing phone tag, but then they got right to work and did a fabulous job. Very professional, punctual, etc. Tidy, too. In the attic it might not have mattered, but the garage floor was swept to remove bits of insulation. And the kitchen was left in better condition than they found it when installing the hot water device at the sink. The work was done in two trips. First trip was to remove the old and install the replacement hot water tank (we were without hot water for 5 days while trying to figure out what to purchase and who to install it. After much shopping we ended up purchasing the tank from BCI (competitively priced AND they offered us an insurance policy warranty that covers any possible cost for a full ten years). They delivered it the next day and had hot water waiting for us when we got home from work. (We have used this company several times in the past and knew we could rely on them even if we weren't home.) A couple of days later they came back out. First, he installed the insulating blanket on the tank in the attic, and invited me to come up and have a look...explained everything to me. The city inspector also came to check out the attic installation. No problems at all. They had to order the hot water unit for the kitchen sink and it was also installed that day. When he was done I inquired about the slow drain in the shower. Somehow it did not make it onto his job order and he did not have the proper equipment with him so we agreed that they would make another trip. Fifteen minutes later he was back--another truck was nearby and he borrowed the equipment from the other plumber to come back and finish our job. It was very nice of him! If he hadn't done that I would never have known but it was great to have it all completed on that day.

The visit would have rated an "A" had not I received a more prompt call-back the day before to set an appointment. Instead, the next morning at 8:15 am, I got a call from one of BCI's plumbers, asking if it was a good time to begin the service call. I wasn't expecting that, but told him to come on over. After a few minutes, he determined he would need to go back to his shop for a part, but returned within fifteen minutes. And, even though the leaking shut-off valve required him to shut off all water to the house for a few minutes, all the repairs were completed with an hour, the plumber himself was very courteous and professional, and the price charged was fair.

My wife noticed standing water under the kitchen sink late one night. Visions of exorbitant plumbers' bills cavorted before me. The next morning about 10:00 I called BCI after my regular plumber (Jar-Dab) told me they were booked up for the week. The helpful receptionist answered right away and connected me with the scheduler, who told me someone could come out that afternoon and would call before coming. Instead, the plumber called within a half hour and was there ten minutes later. He spotted and corrected the problem immediately (I should have seen it), but also performed some other tasks I'd wanted done without charging me any more than the basic service call charge. I realize this was not an in-depth, major plumbing disaster and that part of my good feeling about this company is contaminated by the attendant euphoria, but I'm still impressed that he did the extra tasks without charging a dime.
