He was able to quickly find the problem, repaired it quickly and did not try and "find" things to repair that didn't need to be repaired. Cost was fair and was repaired to our expectations. Would definitely use again. Juan is very professional and a very nice guy. He knows his stuff.

+ -1 moreFor several months I held on to the final insurance payment, waiting on owner to contact me to answer a final question. i know nothing about roofing and therefore had questions as to why a board was left on the roof. I didn't know if it was left my mistake or if it had a purpose. Several weeks ago I sent the final payment in. I was hoping when he didn't get his money he would contact me and resolve my question. Then to be honest, I did forgot about it and several weeks ago found the check. I mailed it, still asking about the board. He contacted me today 12/17/14 to say he had received the check and finally answered my question. That's all I ever wanted, was a response to my question. I will upgrade my score, now that I am satisfied.
Description of Work: My biggest issue was with the amount of time it took for the project to be completed. It was an insurance issue and there were several things that needed to be done by sub-contractors. There was a month between putting the roof on and someone else doing the other items. The owner kept giving excuses about the sub contractors being so busy. He should had found other sub contractors that could finish the job in a timely manner. |In picking up his first check he would tell me he was coming by on a certain day and never show up or call to cancel. Granted, it was his money, but it was my time to wait on him to show up when he said he would. He didn't do this once, but several times. As of this writing he still hasn't gotten with insurance to sign off on the project and have his final check cut. There was also a question about a board left attached to the roof. He took a picture when he finally came to pick up his first check. He said he would get back to me and that has been 3 weeks ago. |Some of the work the sub contractors did are 'legal' but questionable in the best way to do it. Example, the wires for the turbo fans needed to be reconnected and they are suspended in mid air rather than laying or tack on to any surface.

Good craftsmanship, demo existing roof and installed in one day. Jeremy with T-Rock made sure that we did a walk-thru with no outstanding issue. + 0 moreThe repair was done on a rental home that I own. There was water leaking near the a/c unit, but it wasn't because of the a/c. I had a roofer come out and the repair bill was high. You always want to get two or three bids. Juan came out and determined the issue was minor and required some common patching. Work was performed at that time and I was e-mailed before and after pictures. This saved me a lot of money. I waited to leave review until there was another heavy rain to test repair. My tenant has reported issue seems to be resolved as there was no leak after heavy rain. I am VERY impressed with Juan and it fills good to have an honest good roofer to call if I have any further issue at that or any other properties.

+ -1 moreMy initial review that was submitted was a 'D' after one appointment was canceled and the person assigned never called back for the rescheduled appointment window. Shortly after submitting that review, I was contacted by the company and they have taken every step possible to regain my satisfaction and prove that my experience/review is anomaly for how they do business. I have to say in my experience with some other companies in the same industry they have turned my opinion/experience from a negative one to a positive one. I have had a similar situation with a few other companies and I can assure you none of them contacted me back to try resolve the poor experience. And while the work I initially inquired about ended up being completed by another company, I have enlisted them for another project as a result of their response and action to my initial negative review. It is unfortunate that it took that negative review to get me back on their radar, but the way they handled it and how they are reacting to it has led me to change the experience to the current rating. I am looking forward to see the outcome of the new project.

He left me feeling confident in the roof's status and when I am ready to replace it, I will definately call them.

He applied sealeant to the area with the leak, as well as all surrounding areas to help ensure the leak was completely resolved. He consulted with me on price so that we could agree on an amount that was fair to both of us. He also indicated that if the initial repair did not correct the issue, that they would continue to come back until the issue was resolved. I call that excellent customer service!!! I will definitely call them for future roofing needs.

The deal ($200 for $500 worth of work) made the first time use of T Rock feel "risk-free." The contractor's communications were friendly and timely. Juan Fuentes, the person who made the repairs, called to give me an estimated arrival time, and kept me updated. When he arrived, he introduced himself and gave me his card. He was fast and efficient with the repairs, and when he finished, he showed me before and after pictures of the repairs. I would definitely recommend T Rock Roofing and Construction, and would not hesitate to use them again.

+ 0 moreDecember 13, 2013 I can home to several spots on my ceiling. I put out a call on Facebook for help and a friend recommended Nick Frederickson from T-Rock. I called Nick first thing Saturday morning and he was over within the hour to check the house and the roof. There was extensive damage from the December ice storm that we had just started thawing out from. Nick fought with my insurance company to get the damaged items covered and replaced correctly. Whenever my Mom and I had a question about the process he was there to answer it or walk us through the process again. Nick was very easy to communicate with and always responded in a timely manner. As the work progressed I told Nick that I had a friend that had been planning to come for Spring Break. He made sure that the work was completed and I was back in the house the week before my friend came to visit. I would highly recommend T-Rock and Nick Frederickson!!

+ -1 moreThe company was extremely professional on the phone and in person. They showed up on time, accessed the situation and gave us a very fair estimate on repairing our leaks. When repairing, they again showed up on time, repaired the leaks in a timely and professional manner. Everything looks clean and in good repair, and the shingles they used as replacements matched very well. On arrival for the repair, it became apparent that the repairs were going to be a little more extensive than originally quoted, however, T-Rock honored their original quote, which we were very happy with. If and when the time comes to replace the roof, T-Rock will be an easy choice - we highly recommend this company.
Description of Work: Repaired a leaky roof in two places. The valley metal and shingles around the valley, as well as re-flashing a chimney.

Description of Work: They came by my house and had me sign an agreement they stated so they could speak with my insurance, I read the fine print and called to cancel. They did show up with the insurance company, but when I told them I would go with the lowest bid they would not even submit a bid. People get at least 3 quotes. I was able to save $2000 by doing so.

I had to remind them several times because I'm waiting for their quotes. They took pictures about the problem but they didn't take a picture of the one that they fixed.

+ -1 moreI was so impressed with this company and especially Bob Benefiei! I knew it was a small job and it can be difficult to find someone. They were not only willing to help me, but came out the same day for an estimate and scheduled a day to complete the work. The work ended up being a little more then we had anticipated, but he kept his agreement on the estimate. He did such a good job and paid attention to details, even touching up areas I hadn't even mentioned. From what I can tell, the workmanship looks great and I feel he did a thorough job. Bob was extremely nice, courteous and extremely helpful to me. He seemed very trustworthy and made me feel comfortable in the work that was being done. I am so glad I found this company, and especially Bob. I will definitely use them again in the future. Thank you so much for a job well done!
Description of Work: Seal and paint a small damaged area on the gable of the house, replaced a garage door jam and trim along with another small piece of trim on the chimney. Finished with minor touchups of paint.

+ 0 moreStella Clevenger and her assistant were excellent. I found T-Rock Roofing via Angie's list. I first called about a water leak in part of the bathroom ceiling; when there was a protracted cold spell, ice would get under the shingles and then quickly melt. They immediately did a stop-gap repair for free and then determined that we had enough hail damage to our roof to warrant an insurance claim. Stella thoroughly went through our house and pointed out areas that needed attention. When the insurance adjuster came, she was there to explain what she could see of the damage and he accepted all her recommendations and approved us for a new roof and the repair of the minor interior damage from the melting ice. The new roof looks great! The roofing crew was thorough and efficient. We are actually selling our house, but the new owners are getting a top-notch brand-new roof with Class 4 hail/impact-resistant shingles.
Description of Work: Replaced the hail-damaged roof on the house and the garage. Repaired/repainted minor water damage to inside of house and filled and finished some settling cracks in the ceiling.
