Alan Gull came out and met with me and my insurance company. He was professional and showed up when he said he would. His crew was on time and the roof looks wonderful. So do the gutters. I was very impressed with the work and would use them again. I will recommend to all my friends.

Alan came to our home and reviewed or roof for needed repairs and/or replacement. After spending a good amount of time (which I appreciated his thoroughness), he presented a very competitive bid. Once I approved his estimate he provided us with a timeline of when the work would be done. They showed up on time and completed all roofing work in one day. They cam back 2 days later and completed the guttering work as was agreed. Clean up was great with no sign of any workers having been at our home. We would use this company again if the need arose. Our representative Alan was very professional and made sure we understood the entire process before it ever began.

Made two trips at the beginning of the summer to fix the leak, which I paid after each trip. No leak during the summer because no rain. The leak was present after the heavy rains about three weeks ago. Worker came to repair it, this time at no cost. Unfortunately, he did not fix the leak because water is still dripping onto my ceiling. A supervisor visited a week later, inspected the damaged ceiling and inspected the roof and chimney. He said my roof shingles appeared to be in bad shape and suggested I go ahead and replace it. I said the roof was only 5 years old. He said roofs around here can get damaged easily. I said I would check with my insurance company to inspect. He said he wanted to be here when the insurance inspector showed up. He then informed me that it would cost me XX$'s to fix the leak. I informed him that I already had paid twice and the roof was still leaking, so I expected them to do the repair for free. He said he would have to check with the office and that he would get back to me. That was over a week and a half ago. I have texted and emailed the guy, and no response. My insurance inspector came and performed his inspection and analysis. He didn't find anything wrong with the roof, but he showed pictures of the mess around my chimney. I am using another company to repair my leak. I will never use T-Rock for anything.

The roof still leaks. We can't use a roofer you don't trust. I don't care what the excuses are. I don't even know if the guy showed up or just took my money. I would like my money back. I am calling another roofer that has been referred by word of mouth. This makes Angie's list look bad as well.

The person in charge of giving me my estimate was incompetent, and unprofessional. After the initial contact by their offices I was told that the contractor in charge would be calling me to set up an appointment to come out and take a look at my roof. I explained that I had a leak in the roof and needed the job done with all due speed. They assured me that they would do their best. After making the appointment, the contractor got my name mixed up with another client and instead of coming out to my house, went out to theirs. I had to contact him again after two days to find out what had happened. He was very apologetic, but continued to not come out. It has been a month since my initial contact and I still have not received the estimate even though I have made multiple phone calls and have been assured that they were coming out. I am going with a different contractor.

T Rock took pictures of damaged shingles and roof vents that they found on our roof inspection. These items were repaired and addressed while onsite. John G. provided before and after picture of the roof items he fixed. Leak was fixed right the first time. John also showed me some mistakes the builder did while constructing my home. T Rock was very knowledgeable and provided great service. The Angie's List deal we bought on here took care of all of our roof items. T Rock offered to come back for free over the next year as needed. WOW!

Provided roof repair on two roof eyebrows. Provided the required repairs to stop two roof leaks and and incorrect builder installation. The repairs were made as expected and the recent heavy rains verified the repairs were sufficient. Very attentive to the customers requirements and good communication.

Faced a sudden leak after a thunder storm. These guys not only put a tarp over the roof with in a few hours but provided guidance o how to deal with the insurance. Ended up repairing the roof. Finishing the drywall and repainting the wall to match the room. Excellent work. Will use again if i have to.

The repair work was good for most part, the gutters went up fast, but there are a lot of detail issues that the contractor needed to be reminded of and/or that just didn't happen. For example, the new construction wasn't caulked before it was painted and the nail holes weren't covered up. When he sent someone over, the specific areas I pointed out were caulked, but the rest of the soffit wasn't. A touch up repair after a big rain was done and that portion of the soffit was attached but now there's a large gap that needs to be covered, caulked and painted. I'm thinking of bringing in a different team to do the detail work instead of chasing the contractor. He was very interested in replacing my entire roof and all issues seemed to come back to that when discussing details. The roof is old and it looks like I do have some repair spots, but first things first.

I'm kind of old school. If you give someone your word, it's a deal. This is what happened here. 1. During the last rains, I noticed leakage around my chimney. I've lived my hose for 7 years. I don't know when the previous owner changed out the roof, but I figured it was about that time. I call my insurance company and put in a claim. I told them I would be calling a roofing company. The insurance company said...all companies are gong to say you're going to need a new roof. Not having to deal with roofs, I just came to expect I was going to be paying $3,000 (deductible) for a new roof. Based on the Angie's recommendations, I called T Rock Roofing on Sunday at 21:00. Someone actually picked up the phone. I was shocked to say the least. I explained to them that I don't know how old the roof and I expecting to get a new one. T Rock said, that a roof replacement may not be end result. They'll come out on Monday to inspect the problems. 2. On Monday, my insurance inspector called to setup an appointment. They said, they would be out on Wednesday to inspect. They also advised me that the roofing company would probably want you to get a new roof. Get about 3 estimates. So, a new roof, here I come. 3. T Rock called me an hour before they were going to be onsite as requested. They showed up on time and did the inspection. Inside and Out. They advised against a roof replacement..I WAS SHOCK. They took pictures and said we recommend the $99 roof repair in these areas. They also found and fixed some areas I didn't know about. They said those problems would have been issues during the winter. 4. After the repair, T Rock said to call the insurance company and cancel the inspection as it would go on my record. I talked with the insurance company and they agreed with T Rock. Without knowing, I could have had a new roof, paid $3000 and not needed it. Honesty....Old School. That's what it use to be. When I do need a new roof, I'll only call them. I'll also be recommending them to anyone needing roof advice. Thank you T Rock.

Bob came out to give me a quote on replacing some missing shingles. He was prompt and even waited a few minutes when I was running late. He offered to replace them, then and there, since they were fully booked for a while. He replaced the shingles, showed me pictures of the trouble spots and even cleaned up the old shingles that had blown off into another corner of the roof. I felt his work was excellent and thorough. And I felt he charged a fair rate. Would definitely call them again! Thanks!!

well. No leaks after the big rain this weekend that we're aware of.

I found them on Angie's list.From the time I made the initial call to get a quote to the time they finished the work, Alan Hammond and his team did a great job and were very professional, Alan responded very quickly to my request for a quote. He understand the issue that was a direct result of a very bad builder (Moshe Golan of Golan Homes and multiple other company names - which is one of the worst builders in DFW) not doing this portion of the roof correctly or the area where the gutter could not butt up against the wall. Instead, Moshe Golan in conjunction with the roofing company used (Swan Roofing) did sloppy patch work which was never going to work to prevent water from going directly under the tiles and rot out the plywood. Also, Alan and his worker couldn't believe how the builder purposely cut corners on both the tile, and the area where the gutter didn't butt up against the wall. Alan and his worker developed a well thought out and correct solution to resolve both issues and thoroughly explained the solution to be done and why the issue provided by the bad builder and his roofer will never happen again. I would like to have included pictures, but do not see how they can be attached. I would not hesitate to use T-Rock for any future roofing needs and would recommend them to anyone who wants the work done correctly the first time. The price was very fair for all items done (roof tile, gutter, and maintenance).

Very poor response. Had pester them to come out. It was obvious that they didn't want to mess with this small job. After work done, they didn't return to insure the repair was properly done.

The job was done fantastically, very professional. Kept me informed of all major change/delays. We couldn't have been more pleased.

I worked with Juan Fuentes and can only say wonderful things about him and TRock! I initially contacted TRock via Angie's list when I noticed a water spot on my guest room ceiling. They came right out "on time" and tried to find the leak replacing some of the shingles, etc...but, the leak continued. When I called Juan to let him know the leak had persisted and that we were expected a heavy rain, he came right out and tarped the whole area...in the rain! Amazing! He then explained to me that I really needed a new roof and that it had a lot of hail and wind damage. I was skeptical at first, because of my experience the previous year with a "different" company, that told me the same thing, and didn't even show up to meet with the adjustor (obviously the claim was denied). Juan, however, assured me that if he met with the insurance company, he could show them the damage and get it approved! I was already impressed with Juan, who is definitely on top of his game! He is courteous, punctual, very knowledgeable, and honest! Hard to find that type of individual in any line of business. I agreed and Juan met personally with the adjustor, who approved not only the roof, but the garage door, gutters and repair to the guest room ceiling! I was so relieved that it actually brought tears to my eyes knowing that insurance would be covering these very expensive repairs. He said he could get it handled and he did! Every step of the way, he showed he is a man of his word. The roofers showed up at the scheduled time and were quiet, professional, and great about ensuring that the work was done properly and all debris picked up...perfect! Juan coordinated every repair and each contractor that showed up to do their respective repairs was on time and professional. He also inspected the work that was done to ensure it met with his approval! Honestly, this job was perfectly coordinated and handled with a degree of professionlism that is hard to find and only occurs when a company and their representives take pride in what they do! I will recommend TRock and Juan to anyone I know shopping for a new roof! Juan and Trock are terrific!

The response time to get someone over to assess the job was very quick. Sam was very friendly. The job was not specified correctly so the original date that the roof was to be installed had to be rescheduled. The team of roofers, who didn't speak any English, came to the house and when they realized the scope of the job, they left. I had to call to find out what the problem was since no one called me. They did work to ensure that the roof reschedule date would work for me. They even rescheduled some one else to meet my needs and I appreciate that. The mess left behind was a little much. They didn't do a thorough check because one of the men's shirts was left behind along with coke cans. I ended up with a flat tire and a nail in the other tire. I still need to have the gutter job completed, but I've been too busy to call and follow up. I felt like I was wined and dined at the front end and not so much on the back end. They were quick and do have a warranty that sounds good. Update: After having read my review, they promptly called me and came back to go back over the property and get the debris picked up. They got the gutter completed and when they were unable to clean the marks left on my garage door from the roof particles being thrown down, they replaced the garage door. I appreciate their willingness to make sure the job was done right.

Dealing with property in an estate can be nightmare. When you trying to get a house ready to sell and have family members that don't understand you can't sell house that needs a roof, because an inspector will flag it and either the buyer or the Mortgage Company will not approve closing until it is replaced...Fun stuff like that. Needless to say, I have to be a stickler for the details and have everything in writing as well as negotiate a price that will make the other family members happy. During the process of replacing the roof, I fired two contractors that became vague with the details before the work was to begin. I fired the last on the night before the shingles were delivered because, they wouldn't itemize everything I was paying for. I called T Rock at about 5:00 in the afternoon and John called back within about 20 min. I explained the situation, and I could tell right away that this would be a different experience. John and Dallas looked at the roof and went over the insurance companies report. They were up front about everything and went out of their way to take a bit of the pressure off of me. They even waited for final payment because the Insurence company made the check out wrong. Top quality work, at a fair price, without a hassle. I can't think of anything else I could ask for. When Dallas came to pick up the final check, we talked about taking a look at my house. I am waiting until I finish everything with my parents property. But, they will get the job. I won't even get another quote. they have proven themselves to me. I can not recommend them highly enough

I've had my roof replaced multiple times, but I've never seen a roofer handle an insurance company like Sam (T-Rock owner). The insurance company agreed readily enough that the roof had hail damage and needed to be replaced, but the decking underneath was rotted through. While they were outside in their car writing up an estimate that wouldn't pay for it, Sam was inside on the phone with the city inspectors having them verify the part of city code that says the decking has to be replaced to bring the house up to building code. Sam actually already knew the code--had it memorized--but he called to prove it to the insurance guy. He had the city inspectors come out to inspect the roof--I didn't need to be present for any of this; he just handled it--and sure enough, the insurance company paid for the decking. The roof was completed in a day and is better than any other roof I've had because he used GAF shingles. But it didn't stop there. Sam told me at the outset that he would help with the deductible (but not by compromising the quality of the roof in any way). So he inspected the property and found hail damage on the fence. I couldn't even see the damage, but the insurance company still had to pay for it, and I was able to put that money towards the deductible. Between that, the Angie's List discount he gives and some other small discounts Sam found, I ended up paying nothing for a brand new roof. Now I have a cheap house and my deductible is low, so don't expect this result on your house. But when he says he'll do everything he can to save you money, he actually follows through. I've met with a lot of roofers and hired a few, but I've never had one so knowledgeable about all aspects of both roofing and handling insurance companies not only for his benefit (which they all do) but for mine as well. I called him in the first place because I had a small roof leak--I had no idea what general state the roof was in. He arrived 1 1/2 hours after the call to look at the problem. When he came down with a slew of pictures showing me the condition of the roof, I was on the verge of panic when he said, "Your insurance company will pay for this." And he was right. I will hire Sam for other jobs, no question.
