Description of Work: We had a major project of replacing 22 windows and creating a new 7' high door opening where two windows had been. The project including a twin stack of windows on the house front that went from ground level to over 20' high. Statewide's pricing was very competitive with three other bids (after a bit of friendly negotiation). We liked the Omega glass that Statewide uses which isn't as dark as the Cardinal glass the other installers used but is just as efficient, and the Omega glass had noise reduction properties that were much more expensive to add to the other bids. So we chose Statewide. We were extremely pleased with every aspect of the project. First, we appreciated that Statewide went outside their normal supply chain to find a tall sliding door that was beautiful and slides with one finger. It is amazing, with a large transom above it. Second, we appreciated the can-do attitude of their installers. Replacing that twin stack was a bear! They took the extra time and got it done. We appreciated the extra touches that the installers did for us without charge, such as building all new wood window sills for every window! The finished product was clean and looks fabulous. Thanks, Statewide, for a tremendous job.

Description of Work: We had State Remodeling replace our windows on the North face of our home. They are energy efficient their acoustics are incredible. No longer here the neighbors yipping dogđź‘Ť Installation was excellent no problems they did their homework first. Price was competive an they gave us additional discounts on future work. The sales rep Bryan was great and had integrity.

Description of Work: Your responded to my review was completely inaccurate Frank Manzare EVP/Partner Statewide Remodeling. My puppy was 1 at the time, the child in my home was 10-12 yrs old and I have pictures. You did not do anything to my kitchen is was my bathrooms. AND I CAN PROVE everything I posted, with pictures, text msgs, and a recorded phone calls and a recording of the visit from your manager in your Houston office. Maybe you should do your research on what happened before you respond. This company ripe us off and you don't care about what really happened. We was lied and forced to sign off on this contract. People do not believe a word this man is saying. This company treated us horrible.

Description of Work: I was talked into a contract sponsored by Home Depot thru a subcontractor called Statewide Remodeling. We selected the materials for a bathroom remodel and what was delivered was not what we were told by the representative from Statewide Remodeling. Then when I requested that the contract be cancelled I was told there was a 25% cancellation fee...which would be approximately $3,000.00. I admit that I did no read the fine print on the contract and that is my fault...but I was trusting Home Depot's name and needless to say I am very disappointed that neither the contractor nor Home Depot would stand behind there supposed 100% satisfaction guarantee. The materials they were trying to install were definitely not the grade of materials were ordering...especially based upon the $12,000.00 quote...which was originally $24,000.00 but I could not afford that and got it down to $12,000.00 by doing all of the demo work and a good majority of the rest of the job myself. I am now faced with a $3,000.00 charge and nothing was even started nor completed.

 + -1 moreMr. Robison told us that they were having a special, 75% off installation. I inquired about an ad I received that stated Instant Rebates up to $5000*. He told me that the ad was the same special; both were $100 dollars off per window purchased. Unfortunately, when I inquired about the TXU rebate program He gave me information about the program that contradicted TXU web site. He basically told me the TXU rebate was the $100 off special and that there was no other rebate from TXU. TXU s web site at the time stated that customers would receive a one time credit on their utility bill. He was obviously was not up to speed on the program. After being in my home for over 1 hours he gave me an estimate, hand written on the back off his appointment sheet for $23678. This estimate had no break downs for the cost of windows or installation. I felt that the time spent with Ken was a complete waist. His estimate was more than 3 times as high as the company I ended up hiring.
Description of Work: I called Statewide Remodeling to get a quote for 21 replacement windows for our 31 year old home. Before they would come out they insisted that both my husband and I be available for the appointment. This to me was a little patronizing. When their rep. Arrived (Kenneth Robison) he was on time. He started by walking around my house and measuring all the windows. He then proceeded in showing us his window and fully explaining all its features. We were convinced that their product was of high quality.

 + -1 moreThey came right out the following day, very professional and knowledgeable, but the price was about 50% more than what we could pay. We did use them for another job two years ago, and we are very happy with that, we've elected to wait for a better price or look at other companies.

WHEN ESTIMATOR CAME OUT, PAPER WORK SAID "DISCUSS ENERGY REBATE IF NECESSARY", AND HE NEVER MENTIONED IT AT ALL. GAVE ME LUMP SUM ESTIMATE OF ALMOST $2500, AND REFUSED TO BREAK DOWN AS TO COST OF WINDOW VS COST OF INSTALLATION. AS ANDERSON WINDOWS WEBSITE INDICATES RANGE OF PRICE FOR PRODUCT QUOTED WAS AROUND $200 EACH, COST SEEMED EXCESSIVE.
