All the color choices, frame styles, and options were presented to me clearly in person at my home. I was surprised at how many options there are for shutters, but they made it easy to understand with the sales presentation. I was very pleased with everything and would recommend using them to anyone.
Description of Work: We ordered custom wood shutters throughout our house. We ordered the custom painted shutters and they matched our trim paint perfectly. The install was on time and everything looks great. I was worried about how the eyebrow tops would look and they all look outstanding.

Went with stained plantation shutters in the main and dining rooms and white shutters in the bedrooms that turned out fantastic. The price was right (I had called around to a number of places), installation was perfect. Overall the service was outstanding - David really went out of his way to make sure I was taken care of after I put in my order. Great experience!

Description of Work: Recently, I had my condominium home re-decorated. It was my goal to modernize my home with a really contempory shiek hotel like feel yet still keep it comfortable, warm and inviting. I thought I was done when it was suggested to me by my interior designer that I may want to consider adding new window treatments as the final touch. Knowing that I was close to reaching my budget tolerance, I called Southwest Interiors out of Plano, TX. I spoke with David Weidberg, the owner who immediately impressed me with his knowledge and sensativity to my budget needs. He followed up promptly in person and was well prepared with an array of different products that he felt would meet my goals and needs. David also steered me away from bells and whistles and into products that actually addressed what I was describing were my needs which ended up saving me hundreds of dollars. In the end, the Window Treatments he recommended put the cherry on top of the icecream! I would recommend anyone considering remodeling a home to call Southwest Interiors and David Weidberg for Window Treatment Consulting (214)-675-3590. They were simply awesome!!!!

After getting several bids, his bid was the most competitive and he explained why other companies might be more and what options could effect cost on a second visit The motorized shades were reasonable priced compared to the other companies. I had seveal questions about the options for motorized shades and he knew all the answers.
Description of Work: Bought wood plantation shutter and motorized shages thoughout hte house. Very good quality and professional service. I am happy and would recommend Southwest Interiors for shutter and motorized shades

David showed me all the different window covering products and made my decision on what to buy easier. He was able to come out to my house and meet with me one day after I called to set an appointment. The blinds and shades were installed 4 days after I placed my order. All the other companies said I would have to wait 2 to 3 weeks. I would defiantly recommend this company again.

+ -1 moreThe entire process was pretty smooth from beginning to end. Southwest Interiors sent out one of their reps, measured all the windows, and provided an estimate for the blinds quickly. Installation took one full day because there was a lot of windows but overall I was impressed with all phases as far as customer service, price, and installation time.

+ -1 moreDavid arrived when he said he would, took measurements and promptly gave me an estimate. He worked with me to ensure I had just what I needed. When the blinds arrived they were installed quickly and quickly.
Description of Work: I worked with Southwest Interiors to replace blinds on all of the windows in the house my husband & I had just purchased. I researched all of the options I could find for both quality and price even visiting a local manufacturer in Dallas. When all was said and done David at Southwest Interiors had the very best price and was equal to or better than all of the other companies I looked at. But it was actually the warranty I received from Southwest Interiors that put them over the top. I now have beautiful 2.5" blinds that look wonderful and couldn't be happier. I strong recommend David and his company, Southwest Interiors, to anyone looking for window treatments.

+ -1 moreThe light gap blocking “U” side rails that were installed on 3 windows with blackout liners did not make a significant difference in how much light is in the room. I emailed Alan twice regarding the situation and finally had to call since he did not respond to my emails. He agreed to come and take a look. He came to my house and his suggestion to make the room darker was for me to get Styrofoam and cut it to the size of the window pane. Then stick the Styrofoam to glass using double stick tape. I attempted to use Styrofoam to block out the light but it is not a satisfactory solution. This experience with Southwest Interiors was a total waste of money and I wonder why they don’t care more about having satisfied customers.
Description of Work: Installed side light stop channels for existing cellular shade. The light gap blocking “U” side rails were installed on blackout shade which is behind 2” blinds. They were supposed to be installed with the understanding, will net in some light, not much at all.
