I was looking for a tree service. I was impressed by their website and commentary about them on Angie's List. I was impressed by their professionalism, it was a great and a seamless transaction.

They were always on time to do the work. They were very professional. They know what they are doing. They did a good job at cleaning up when they were done.

The crew arrived at the time they promised. The work took more than 10 hours (including a 1 hour lunch break). I was impressed with the care the team took, protecting themselves (climbing trees is dangerous work) as well as the care they took to avoid damaging my property. The cleanup was incredible. The back yard looked as if nothing had happened when they were finished. The crew did a great job doing a lot of hard work. I'd definitely use them again.

I was very pleased with the results overall. The crew showed up exactly at 8AM as I was told they would. We went over some of the "details" and I attempted to re-affirm with them what I wanted done. With pruners and chainsaws in hand they proceeded to work with the tree for approx. 5 hours with fantastic results. They did remove one large limb that was against my wishes, after which the supervisor arrived promptly to resolve the situation. They offered me a discount but instead I suggested they could clean up a couple of my smaller trees at no additional charge which they did happily. During this time they also removed about 4 years of debris from my gutters. All of the branches were mulched up and they left both my yard and neighbors yard in immaculate condition, as though they had never been there. I was extremely happy with the results and would definitely use them again.

Phoned company to schedule an appt. for an estimate. Received a return call 3 business days later. The sales representative, who is a certified arborist, arrived at the scheduled time, and discussed the work that would be required to prune 3 large trees and remove mistletoe from one of the trees. The crew was scheduled to do the work, but had to be re-scheduled twice, due to bad weather. The appt. scheduler called each time the work had to be postponed to inform us that the crew would not be able to do the work that day, and to discuss another date. The crew arrived on March 11 at the time they were scheduled. The salesperson arrived shortly after to be sure the crew understood the work that was to be performed. The crew removed a lot of material from the trees, shredded the material and hauled it away. They left the yard very clean.

I called on a Thursday and scheduled for someone to come out the following Monday. Wendy was a few minutes early, asked specific questions about what we wanted done, and took her time going over the trees to determine the best places for pruning. She was very professional and the company seems to follow very exacting standards for good quality tree care. The estimate was $720, very much on the high side. We ended up paying $250 with another service.

Great. Chris Cole was the arborist that came out to do the bid. He was very professional, on time and very knowledgeable. The crew was very clean and did a fantastic job.

I called PRESERVATION TREE SERVICES INC on a Monday around 3:00 PM and left a message with their answering service. C. Cole called back 3 days later and said he would come out the next day. Mr. Cole was on time for his appointment and quoted me $2600 to cut down the tree and haul away the debris. He gave me an estimate of $275 to do the stump grinding. Their estimate was the highest that I received. More than three times as high as the company I ended up with. I don t think they are in the business to remove trees!!! Estimated cost was $2875.

They showed up on time both days (bid day and actual work day) and did the service as promised. They spent the most time explaining what they recommended and why. We were very happy, and would use them again. Their price was close to another bid, and significantly higher than a third but we got the best impression from them.

The estimator came to look over the job and give me a quote right away. I expected a couple of weeks before they could get to my job, but there were a couple of delays in getting the crew on site to do the work so it was rescheduled out to four weeks. But once they arrived, it went really quickly. The crew was professional and efficient. I have recommended them to friends looking for tree service.

They are professional and knowledgeable. They give great maintenance tips, and we don't use anything other than organic products and they are able to help with that. I don't remember the price.

They arrived on time, and finished the work in one day. They were very accommodating to my requests as they were working, and did a good job of clean up. They covered the pool to minimize the amount of tree trash in the pool.

They said they couldn't do the work safely. They had exactly the same number of men and tools as the company who did perform the work.

Generally satisfied although I thought deep root aeration would go deeper than a couple of inches and compounded by difficulty in speech communication with actual worker who performed work.

The company, which I found here on Angie's List, contacted me promptly after I contacted them. Billy Cook was the man assigned to the job, and was extremely responsive and professional. The crew came out and completed the job on the afternoon we had agreed upon, they did a great job with the work, and perfectly cleaned up after themselves. The company did exactly what they said they would do, and they did it in a professional way.

GREAT! Gave prompt estimate, solved problem with a tree. Long time between estimate and actual work because they were backed up. Showed up on time, men were clean and quick. Did a wonderful job. Super company! Not cheep but quality work.

Wendy came out in early spring to give estimate. During the "monsoons" of May and June we had to reschedule once. Wendy and crew arrived on time. She instructed the workers on the job to be done and left. The guys were courteous and worked hard for four to five hours. The job site was completely clean when they left. No signs of leaves, limbs or wood trash. Wendy returned to check the work. I was extremely pleased with the company, the workers and Wendy's professionalism. We have a cottonwood and other "volunteers" that need to be removed. Be sure I'm calling Wendy for that job, too!

Poor Quality of Workmanship. Poor Quality of Customer Service. Was finally offered the Angie's List "discount" after I continued to complain, but will be returning the check as it hardly makes up for the inconvenience I was put through.

I feel that I received a good service from the arborist. It is a part of a long term maintenance to save the sick tree. I feel I received my money's worth since it was a thirteen tree project. I also think the one tree that was not doing too well is going to make it.

A service rep was sent out the next day after I called to review the problem. It was decided that the tree needed to be removed. I was concerned about damage to surrounding trees and the sprinkler system. I was told that would not be a problem. I was given an estimated day of removal, but that was pushed back 2 weeks due to weather problems. The work was done very professionally and the clean up was done as promised. The only problem I had was a communication one. I assumed the crew that removed the tree would also grind the stump. It actually was done at a different time with a different crew and caused me to have to schedule two times to be at the house instead of just one.

After a wind storm and all companies were busy, I e-mailed and got a confirmation e-mail but then no one called for about 4 days and then I got a nice responsive gentleman who said he'd check the tree and leave an estimate. This was never done. This company advertises heavily on WRR and is located near me. They may be good but the reliability was unacceptable.

The work in general was very satisfactory. However, customer service was a little lacking. First, the sales representative "completely forgot" our appointment, although he quickly arrived after I called. Second, I had to call back several times to have a tree light relocated. This was completed a week after the initial job. The representative was very knowledgeable and courteous, and the crew was very professional. The punctuality rating is for the crew, not the representatives. The Overall rating is around an A- or B+.

I submitted a request for an estimate online and was contacted the next day to set up an appointment. Appointment had to be rescheduled once which was no big deal. An arborist came out and was extremely informative, with all trees identified and all suggested work explained in detail-these guys know what they are doing. I asked for a 10% reduction in the quote because their quote was the highest that we received and they agreed. Unfortunately, we had to call several times to get the work scheduled. Trimming and removal of all trees was done on one day and they did a great job working in tight spaces, didn't butcher our trees, and cleaned up well. We were told they would come out the next day to grind stumps and they did not come. We had to call yet again to reschedule. Stumps were finally ground as promised. They do have a lawn mower size stump grinder for tight spaces, which was great for us. The only problem we have with this company is their lack of communication.

A++. I made initial contact via website. They returned my call the next day and came out to give me an estimate within the week. I had a couple questions which were answered promptly. I submitted approval of bid via e-mail and the work was completed within a few days. I was not home when work was done. They left no trace of having been there, in fact it was several days until I realized the trees had been pruned. The invoice arrived in the mail and I was able to pay online via credit card! Everything went extremely smoothly.

Wendy was very professional and helpful when she came out to do the estimate. She gave me a date and I was called the day before to confirm. The crew arrived on time and did a great job. The "project overseer," Ken, came out twice. The first time was when the crew arrived and then again towards the end of the job to see how they were doing and if I had any concerns. I asked that they cut some more branches off and he made sure the crew was aware of my request. He also took the time to answer questions that I had regarding specific care of the trees. He was a pleasure to deal with. Before the job was complete I had more branches that I wanted trimmed and the "crew leader" called Wendy to make sure it was okay. She called me immediately and gave the go ahead. Her response was "whatever it takes for you to be satisfied." They were at the job for 8 hours and cleaned up to perfection when they were done. I would highly recommend this company.
