Description of Work: I am on the HOA Board of a 8 unit Town Home complex. The trees needed trimming after 2 years of poor maintenance. After reviewing several estimates, Preservation Tree had the best price. They arrived on time, workers were professional & courteous & the trees look great. I will only use them for our complex in the future.

Description of Work: They did nothing. They never got back. We communicated with them again, and we were told our would reach out to us. Nothing. I am getting more and more of companies on Angie's List who really do not seem to warrant their high grades based on the fact they apparently do not even want the business because they never get back.

+ -1 moreChris is obviously highly qualified for his work and demonstrates giftedness in his care for his clients, both botannical and human. He was at our home for close to a half hour, yet did not charge for his visit. Chris is thoroughly delightful and we couldn't be more pleased with his work: the tree is showing beautiful new leaves.
Description of Work: Chris, an arborist, diagnosed heat stress for a beloved tree that we feared was dying. He said that the tree's trunk needed more space to breathe and showed me where to remove soil. He gave me his watering recommendations and also told me when and how to prune.

+ -1 moreThe arborist gave me a detailed estimate. He supervised the technicians doing the work. The workers were polite, professional and showed up promptly. My one complaint is that the arborist did not return my calls promptly. I had to call him and the office to find out when they had scheduled the work.
Description of Work: He pruned a live oak and red oak, both very large. He aerated the roots on the live oak, removed ground cover around it and mulched it. The trees are now balanced and have adequate light coming through. They removed all branches, and even three railroad ties that had been around the trunk of the live oak. Preservation Trees is expensive, but worth it.

CHRIS MADE SURE EVERYONE UNDERSTOOD THE SPECIFIC LIMBS NEEDING REMOVAL AND WE DISCUSSED WHERE AND WE DISCUSSED WHERE AND HOW MUCH TO PRUNE, WORK WAS DONE EXACTLY AS DISCUSSED DURING THE ESTIMATE WORK-UP.
Description of Work: Selective pruning on 4 mature live oaks and 2 shumard red oaks to only remove dead or broken limbs and lift any limbs scraping the rood top. Not your standard other "cut-the-heck-of-every-tree" pruning situation.
