Description of Work: The service was only $60 because I did this through a Home Warranty Service. But now that I don't have the home warranty anymore, I would call Mr.Rekey when and if I need more locksmith services. He rekeyed many doors and left me with new working keys. He also gave anti-break in advice. Fast and professional.

Description of Work: Our technician is Robert. He installed 3 door locks with keys on interior doors in less than 30 minutes. It would have been faster if I identified all 3 locks at same time. Instead I added third lock while he was installing the second one. Absolutely thrilled with the new locks. | |I called them on Saturday following Thanksgiving and was blown away that I got same day service and w/o being charged holiday or weekend fees. There is a nominal trip charge and nominal fee for each lock. | |I received one set of 2 keys per lock.

Description of Work: I misunderstood how many keys I'd be receiving. I thought the cost of reprogramming the garage door openers was high. My locks were very old, so the employee had to spend more time than he would have with newer locks. It was a particularly brutal cold windy day. The employee was very professional, diligent, and good natured.

He is A+ in every way - knowledge, professionalism, demeanor, thoroughness, etc. He is very customer-oriented and ensures the customer receives excellent value for the price.
Description of Work: Replaced door hardware on interior garage door Repaired door knob mechanism on back door Repaired lock on outdoor wrought iron gate Justin arrived promptly, was extremely polite and worked quickly, completing the work in just a little over an hour. He was excellent in pinpointing problems quickly and explaining them, even leaving me with tips on how to avoid future problems with the lock on the outdoor wrought iron gate. For the garage door, I had purchased new hardware to replace the broken knob. He was able to re-use parts from the broken door set to repair the back door. His thorough explanations and demonstrations of the problem really instilled confidence in me that he could fix any lock problem. I was very impressed with his competence and professionalism and won't hesitate to use him for future work.

Their work amazed us, and it's been really long time since such a thing happened. They were not going to leave, until all the locks were done. I have no idea, what they can improve upon. I would recommend them to the highest possible list.

+ -1 moreDid not find them on Angies List...was a referral from lender during home purchase. Made appt on their website...then needed to change it by phone which was no problem. Adam from Texas Rekey showed up on time, removed lock cylinders from 5 external doors and 3 attic access doors (2 doors had both knob and deadbolt locks). Rekeyed all cylinders in his van, then reinstalled in all doors and confirmed correct key fittings. Did all of this in about 1 hour. Was very pleased w/ price...was internet special on their website for rekeying up to 6 locks for $60 and $10 each additional lock. 4 keys included, extra keys $2 each. Will use again.

I called Texas Re-Key and spoke to a very pleasant professional gentleman who gave me price info and took my information. Al showed up right on time, fixed my door and at no charge adjusted the lock on my back gate. He was at my house about 30 minutes. Al is a nice guy and is very professional.
