Monitronics is a good company. They do what they say they will and my home's alarm system has no difficulties or problems to speak of. I would call myself a satisfied customer.

I did my research and this company charges the lowest rates around. They give you good services and they're friendly to deal with.

Having had a good experience with them at our old house, we stayed with them after we moved. For the first few months, we had problems with false alarms and kept calling them back. After repositioning a sensor, the problem was solved. It was a nuisance, but they did stick with it, and all has been great since.

Do NOT purchase a contract from Monitronics. They are a DREADFUL company (Pinnacle isn't any better, either, they just sell alarm contracts and have nothing to with the customer after that). Monitronics raised our already expensive rate (it started at just below $20/month and ended at $25) continually, and they send inferior subcontractors to do any repair work (even though we were paying $25/month we had to disable the window alarms every time we set it because none of the contractors could fix them and our alarm would go off every time). Don't take my word for it. Check out their listing on the Better Business Bureau of Dallas website. (My claim is listed as unresolved). If you do want a good security company, check out Sloan Security because they're great.

Monitronics delivers very poor customer service. First, it took numerous phone calls and much frustration to deactivate my alarm after I moved and sold my house. Even though it was deactivated, I continued to pay through my contract. When my contract expired I canceled my account in Feb 2005 yet they continue to take money from my account each month (17 months and counting). I have called numerous times, emailed to their website three times (about every 10 business days) asking for a phone call and they have yet to respond. Currently I am writing the President of the company. Unfortunately, if you do a search for Monitronics on the internet, there are a number of similar complaints. This seems to be very common for this company and the way they chose to do business. I would NOT suggest using this company. They deliver VERY poor customer service and they continue to take your money if you decide to leave them.

This service has been appalling. After it was installed for about one year, we needed to disable it in order to do some redecorating. We phoned them to tell them that was what we were doing - unfortunately we had forgotten the password so they wouldn't even listen. In fact, the security police arrived about 15 minutes later!!! We explained to them what was going on - but we were charged for the visit anyway - and later threatened by a collection agency. When we asked to be sent the password - well that didn't work either. So as a result of poor service, we asked to cancel the contract - and we are not allowed out of our contract.

Although $40 a month seems a little high, the system works and was very easy to learn. The service people are both helpful and friendly.

THEY CAME OUT TO PUT IN AN ALARM SYSTEM. THEY WERE COURTEOUS AND ANSWERED ALL OF MY QUESTIONS. IT TOOK THEM ABOUT A HOUR AND A HALF TO PUT THE SYSTEM IN, I FEEL A LOT SAFER.

The alarm system was really nice. We got it because my son had cancer, and it works really nicely. All we have to do is press a button from outside if we needed the fire department or police, and that would send a signal to initiate the call.

I was satisfied with the alarms put in my home by Monitronics. They put extra alarms in for me. There is nothing I would want to change about how they do business. Now I can feel safer in my home.

Monitronics Monitored Alarm Systems explained in very good detail about motion detectors. I didn't want all the wiring inside of my home so they told me I could use motion detectors. They were very honest people and were quite polite. They got right in and put in the detectors. I was very happy with their service.

Warren's is a local, family owned company that still believes in customer service. They were polite and actually arrived a little early for the move. It only took one trip and they helped us situate the heavier items, at our new location. Nothing was damaged and the cost was much less than the larger more well known moving companies.

It was a new house, when they installed it, so the wiring was already in. The technician was informative, and efficient, finishing in about two hours. At that time, he gave me a short tutorial on the system, and helped me program my codes in. The system has worked well so far. I have not had any false alarms, or the need to call them for repairs. The cost is also much less than, the larger more well known security system companies.

I have been thrilled to see how fast their response times are. My dog has a tendency of activating my alarm once in a while. They were very understanding and explained how things worked to help try to prevent it from happening again. They are also on cue when it comes to my six month service checks. It is hard to believe, for all this great service, they are cheaper than most competitors. I pay them monthly and I think the pricing is well worth it.

My husband is currently in dental school, so we wanted an inexpensive system that was also reliable. The technicians assured us, that their alarm was just as good as any other major company. He was patient in explaining how it worked, and what to do in case of an emergency, or false alarm. This turned out to be very important, because we have set off the alarm by accident several times so far. They are very polite about it, and have not charged us extra for this hassle.

We once had a false alarm when we were not home and they were unable to reach me. They had to come out to our house to investigate and shut it off, and charged us $25. That was the only incident we had, and we still don't know what set off our alarm system.

So far, so good; I have not encountered any problems at all. The system has never triggered or anything. They test it periodically by telephone if I call and ask. There customer service department is excellent; I am never on hold very long. I can say that I feel very safe with them. The guy who installed the system explained to me in extreme detail what to expect if the system does trigger. I am confident that I will have immediate help if such a thing should happen. I pay them monthly for the service and the installation was free.

The job took a little over two hours, and they made sure we understood exactly how the system worked. We asked several questions, and all were answered in terms we could understand. There was very little mess to clean up, and so far the system has worked perfectly for us. The price was equal to about one month's service. The unit was free, with a two year contract.

The system works well and they monitor it daily, if something happens they call quickly. The wires were installed when the house was built so it took no time at all to install the monitor unit. The system is just great and I am satisfied with it.

Monitronics Monitored Alarm Systems does a great job of securing my home. We have not had any problems at all with our system. We have had them for awhile now and we have always been satisfied with the service that they provide.

Monitronics Monitored Alarm Systems does a great job my monitoring systems. They do system checks on it routinely. I do get some false alarms but they call me right away. If they can't get me at home they will call my cell phone or at work. I feel safe using this company.

Monitronics did excellent with the installation. I accidentally set the alarm off in the middle of the night one time and they responded immediately. I am very thankful for that. I feel very safe with them. The price is ok. The installation cost me about $120; which is not bad. I also pay them monthly for this service. The monthly price is a little high but I do receive good service. They send out a representative to do a maintenance check once a year at no charge; this is also nice. I plan to keep the around for a while

Monitronics Monitored Alarm Systems has monitored our alarm system for two and a half years now. We have never had a false alarm with their system. They do check the system about every three months to make sure the system is operating correctly. They do supply us with a panic button.

Monitronics Monitored Alarm Systems is a very knowledgeable company that took the time to explain everything about our alarm system to us. They were polite while in my home and checked to make sure our alarm system was working properly after it was installed. We have had no false alarms and feel that our safety is their main concern.

Monitronics Monitored Alarm Systems has provided us with great service. I am in a wheelchair and their company accommodates me very good. There has been times where I have fallen and I had to push my alarm button. They responded in minutes and sent someone out to help me. They test their systems about every couple of months. We are very pleased with their services as they are very kind to us.
