Mighty Movers

Bad traffic slowed them down in arriving, but otherwise they were punctual. Great movers, friendly, and took good care of our items. Worked hard moving a load from a 3rd story apt and a 1 story home, and then moved it all into a 2 story home. They didn't waste time and finished the job in 4 hrs. We really felt we got a great deal and the company made sure we were satisfied and went above and beyond to honor the Angie's List deal we had purchased. I would highly recommend this moving company and would hire them again.

The move did not go well at all in my opinion. When one hires a moving company, they don't expect to still be moving a week after employing these services. I am... They did not load all my items on the truck, I had 7 box and 7 crates, a lamp, tv stand, mirror and laundry basket still at my old location that I am stuck trying to figure our how to move this weekend. Good thing I moved out 1 week before I really needed to move. When I ask were they going to get the rest of my things on the truck, their reply was we can either take all this stuff and leave whats in storage or we can get the bedroom furniture in storage and leave this stuff, basically, I am going to be moving something because they werent. I repeat when one hires a moving company, they don't plan to still be moving items after paying a moving company to do just that. When I booked the move, I requested a 3:00 move because I had to work the day of the move, they called the day before and advise I was scheduled between 10:00 and 2:00 and act like they were doing me a favor by moving the pick up time to 2:00 and it was actually 2:30 b/4 they arrived, so I guess they could have kept the 3:00 time, sounds like to me. The gentleman that schedule my move said we don't normally schedule moves that late, yet when I requested it, no one said that to me then, I felt like the real motive is to say whatever to book my move, so that once I am booked, I will either use their services or pay the 100 cancellation fee. Since you let me believe my move would begin at 3:00 all the way up unto the day b/4 the move, I am now stuck to use the company or pay the fee and on short notice try and book another company. I am very displeased with my experience with Mighty Movers and will not use them in the future nor will I recommend them to anyone else.

The move went off without a hitch, again. They even accommated a slight scheduling change due to the apartment office staff not understanding the calendar. Mighty Movers arrived on time. Loaded the truck and unloaded the truck quickly and professionally. Nothing was damaged and everything was good to go.

Mighty Movers provided me with my worst moving experience of all time. I scheduled them for a Thursday; took the day off of work. They showed up three hours late. Repeated calls to the main office during this time were met with indifference, and at one point the representative asked me if I'd like to change moving dates! No! I took a day off of work for this! After a three hour delay, they showed up and were slow as molasses. They took frequent breaks, one of the movers was a smoker and reeked of it; exactly the smell you want on all your furniture in a new apartment. When we were finally moved, the total service bill was $525! For moving from a one bedroom to a two bedroom in the same apartment complex. To put that in perspective, the next time I moved, I spent $390 to move from the two bedroom to a house 20 miles away. Worse yet, they had the gall to make me fill out a review form they would send in to Angie's List on my behalf! So, when you look at their reviews, you should know that many of them came from customers reviewed on the spot. Judging by their rating, I'm tempted to say they do not send the bad ones in. Avoid this company. Pathetic, overpriced, delayed, slow service.

It turned out fine. I had them move what was left of my apartment.

Before purchasing the Angie's List deal: 2 man crew, 26 ft truck, 3 hours for $279, I called to ensure they had availability on the day I needed to move.I spoke with Ronnie who confirmed they had availability. He told me he would honor the Angie's List deal and that I shouldn't purchase it online. After explaining what I needed done and confirming his team could handle it, I booked with him. When he went over the price, I noticed there was an extra charge. He said that there is a $65 truck charge for the Angie's List deal. I mentioned that I had not read that in the fine print...but since I did not have my computer available at the time, I decided to book the deal anyway...afterall...they have a A rating. Well, after going back and checking the Angie's List deal, I realized that there is NO TRUCK CHARGE IN THE FINE PRINT. As a matter of fact, it clearly stated that the $279 deal INCLUDES THE TRUCK. Once I realized this, I called Ronnie back and told him I was confused. He then told me that they had been trying to get the website updated on Angie's List to include the truck charge, but hadn't been able to. (It had been over 2 weeks from when I first started researching moving companies and saw this deal to this point in time). I had also not confirmed via email my reservation...which kept me from paying a hefty $100+ cancellation charge. Regardless, the conversation escalated...where I was explaining that Ronnie had misinformed me...and he was insisting I would pay a late fee...and also informed me they record all telephone calls and he could prove he told me about the charges...which I explained that his "informing me" of the charge was misleading...and that it is not a good business practice to falsely advertise deals...and that it is also not a good business practice (and may be illegal?) to record telephone conversations without the other party's consent. I then asked him if he REALLY wanted to continue this conversation (because I was done--he wasn't changing my mind, especially after that!). He said no and apologized--in a defensive way. He said they would not be in business so long with such a great reputation if they mislead people. Which seems logical, but not my experience. And, I might add...the SAME DEAL IS STILL UP...TWO WEEKS AFTER MY CANCELLATION AND ONE WEEK AFTER MY MOVE. Which is why I decided to post this review in its entirety not dismiss my experience as a "misunderstanding." Bottomline...they misinformed, misled, escalated a situation, tried to strong arm me, and then half-heartedly tried to de-escalate the situation. I will not be recommending them (obviously.)

The move was so pain free it was unreal. Scheduling ... no problem. Showing up on time ... no problem. Moving her furniture ... no problem. Both of us believe I had already written a review on Mighty Movers. The crew was on time, fast, professional. What else can one say? Would I use Mighty Movers again? Yep Would I recommend Mighty Movers to a friend? Yep

Everything turned out well. The scheduling was quick and easy, the crew showed up on time at both locations, and they did a good job of transporting my belongings without damaging anything. In addition, they completed the job ahead of schedule. The only issue was related to the Big Deal coupon, but they did honor it once I printed off a copy of the coupon for them to see.

Over all it went well, wasnt happy with how they stacked boxes in storage locker. placed items on top of clearly marked fragile boxes.

They showed up on time, worked very fast damaging NOTHING and even stopped and changed the flat tire I got on the way to our destination!

The service was outstanding. They we're prompt, receptive, friendly, and professional. We are going to call them when we move into our new location. We would recommend them without any hesitation.

They were great. They were prompt and they provided great service quickly. We were happy to be done with the whole project in only 4 hours. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I purchased a Big Deal for moving services. The deal included a 26 foot moving truck and two men for three hours of work.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that we purchased. It was really good. There were no additional charges.

They promptly and efficiently unloaded the two trucks with no damage and completed in our 3 hour budget.

I chose Mighty Movers becuase they were the least expensive -- at least $1000 less than all other competitors! -- and because they had extremely high ratings on Angie's List. I was not disappointed! They were professional, courteous, and had everything done far faster than I had expected. I can't recommend them highly enough!

Fairly well. Underestimated the time required to move which ended up costing me a lot more money. Did not completely unload the truck, had to come back next day for a couple of items the next day. minor damage to two door frames.

Stop asking me for a review!

We had to move many things in the garage, and Mighty Movers was mindful of making paths to easily access everything. I would definitely recommend them. Good job, guys!

Luis and Ronnie came in and assessed the items to be moved prior to starting the actual loading. I advised Luis that I did not want to go over the 3 hours which I had booked. He promised to do his very best to keep it within the time limits. All items were packed quickly and securely within in the truck. Totally professional team. Both of these men were perfect gentlemen. Total professionals. I would use this company again and feel absolutely secure in referring all my friends.

Louis and Michael were awesome! They were on time, professional, capable and pleasant. We explained up-front that we had only contracted for 3 hours and really didn't want to go over time. The guys listened and got the whole move done in 3 hours, no problem! They were incredibly fast and efficient with their time. I would absolutely hire them again and recommend them to anyone who needs a moving company!
