Metro Guard Termite & Pest Control

They come when I call them and I practically call them monthly to come and check the bait. I have a one year service agreement with them and the guys are nice and professional. They get the job done. In the past, we had rats eat up a lot of cords in the house and we haven't had any problems since they have been coming out.

This is an excellent pest control company. They are very responsive and prompt. One of the things I like best about them is that they put booties on before they come into the house. This shows that they respect my property.

The service was punctual and complete. The field technician was thorough and polite. Job was done efficiently and up to our expectations.

Darren treated the entire perimeter of the house with Termitor. In addition, he also treated inside the house near all plumbing fixtures. This required drilling into the foundation to inject the solution into the ground (which I was assured would not compromise the foundation). He also had to drill holes into our patio as it was not part of the original foundation. He arrived on time and seemed to take his time to do the job right (there are just some things that can't be rushed). I wasn't to thrilled about shelling over $1,000 for termite control, but considering the alternative, it was what needed to be done. Plus I can have peace of mind. There's an 18-month warranty and you can renew it thereafter for $97 a year (and it's transferable). All things considered, I'm just glad it's done! Being an Angie's List member paid off as I used their $50-off coupon for the treatment (that alone covered the annual membership fee!).

Professionally, it went well. I did get some bad news: they spotted a few winged termites in the back yard. Darren and Jason did a good job of treating the house for the normal pests. Darren then made an assessment of the house and gave me an estimate for termite treatment. He did a good job explaining the process. They use Termidor instead of baits and said the Termidor is the better option since it gives the house a complete barrier against termites. Since this report is about their general pest control, I will provide a complete report on the termite treatment once that has been performed.

They came out on time and were very knowledgeable about what needed to be done. I thought they were pricey.

Super! Technician was competent and thorough. He arrived on time and performed the work professionally. He moved what ever was in the way and then put it back. He even stacked some debris from the excavation trench around the house so that it could be disposed of later. He cleaned up after himself and kept his work area clean as he proceeded. No surprises on the price.

They did great work at a great price. No contracts, so I will be seeing them in the next 90 days.

Every time one of their techs comes out they are exactly on time. Regardless of who it is, they're extremely punctual, polite, professional and helpful. They really seem to care about what they do, and really listen in addition to being extremely observant and willing to answer any questions. We signed up with them for an annual contract where they come out 4 times per year to check on everything and spray. I haven't had any problems since we started using them.

Metro came almost immediately when I called and said that I had property that was infested with fleas. They were very knowledgeable, prompt and efficient. The job required another application a few days later and they also did that in a courteous and efficient manner. Based on the price for the flea job alone, I determined that it would be better to set the property up a regular yearly maintenance contract.

Very punctual and polite. I was very impressed by the care that Ken took while he was in the house, putting booties over his shoes to protect the hardwood floors.

Kyle found where the termites were entering the house. None of the other three companies (that we got quotes from) found them. Metro Guard also had the lowest cost, the longest warranty, and the lowest warranty renewal cost. They seemed to do a thorough job and did not rush through it, even though it was a Saturday. However, we had to ask Kyle to take his shoes off inside the house. They showed up late but called to let us know they'd be late.

They were prompt, courteous and helpful in explaining the work that needed to be done and then what they had done. They also offer a yearly renewal under $100 for the termite treatment.

I gave them my credit card, and they went ahead and charged me before they came out. When I called to ask if that was normal, they told me that he had sprayed the first time he was here. I was with him the entire time, and know that he did not do any spraying. He just gave me a detailed estimate. I've got a bill now that I'll have to pay, but I haven't had any work done.

they did a great job and I would enthusiastically recommend Metro Guard to anyone. Nick was very thorough, professional & informative. I felt entirely comfortable through the entire process including all discussions of price & payment. They were a little higher than another estimate I received and a little higher on annual plan, but they showed up exactly on time and the overall experience is worth the extra $. Both thumbs way up!

When I called, it was only a short time before being connected to someone to speak with. They were very accommodating with our short time frame to have the service done. They were very courteous and went over costs of service before performing the job. They are reasonably priced considering that we requested the top treatment plan. Just be aware that there are different treatment plans and you should first ask what the different plans cover.

The company was very professional and called the day prior to the appointment as a reminder. James was the technician who serviced our house. He arrived on time for the appointment, and was informative and knowledgeable. He also answered questions I had about carpenter ants, but there was no hard sell for other services, unlike other pest control companies we have used. I was very pleased with the service and would definitely use this company again.

VERY PROMPT, PROFESSIONAL ON PHONE. THEY WERE ABLE TO SET UP AN APPOINTMENT IMMEDIATELY (SAME DAY!) AND EVEN CALLED TO SEE IF THEY COULD COME EARLY. THE EXTERMINATOR WAS ON TIME, WELL-GROOMED, PROFESSIONAL AND COURTEOUS. NO PEST PROBLEMS SINCE THEIR VISIT.

OUR TECHNICIAN WAS PROMPT, VERY PROFESSIONAL IN APPEARANCE AND ATTITUDE. HE QUICKLY MOVED THROUGH THE HOUSE AND THE OUTSIDE PERIMETER. HE WORKED IN THE ATTIC SAFELY AND DOUBLE CHECKED THE GATE TO MAKE SURE THE DOG COULD NOT GET OUT.

TOMMY WAS THE TECHNICIAN. HE CAME TO GIVE ME AN ESTIMATE (THE SAME AFTERNOON I CALLED)...AND HE ALSO WAS THE ONE WHO PERFORMED THE TREATMENT. HE WAS VERY THOROUGH....AND KNOWLEDGEABLE; A REAL PLEASURE TO WORK WITH.

THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL & THEY STAND BEHIND THEIR WORK. WE WERE VERY PLEASED & HAVE ALREADY PLANNED TO USE THEM AGAIN FOR BUG TREATMENT NEXT QUARTER.
