Well...I do want to be fair during a pandemic. I probably would not have called except for the spiders. We had been killing a lot of spiders, our cats had been catching and killing them too. I know that scheduling workers can be difficult, and our job was a small one for $55, there's much bigger jobs and more money to be made. But, it is still a job, and should be treated with some respect. Scheduling was an issue. Not so much for us, we are retired and home most of the time anyway. They called the day of to reschedule because the technician's wife was ill. That's understandable and no problem, so we agreed to change the time. Only problem was that no one showed up at the rescheduled time. So had to change again. Like I said, we are home anyway. Someone did show up for the new time at a new day. I would say that he was not thrilled to be on this job. It was supposed to be his day off, he told us repeatedly. He obviously wanted to just get the heck out of there. Again, understandable, human nature, but slow down, guy! He went around the perimeter of the house and through the rooms inside and sprayed a pesticide along the baseboards. When he pulled down the door to the attic I had to ask him to slow down, we have two cats who could easily run up there. I also asked him about an infestation of huge flies in the guest bedroom, he had no idea and told me to call the mosquito guys. So he finished in what must be record time. When he first arrived, I noticed that he was not wearing a face mask. I thought the receptionist had said that the company checks the employees' temperature daily and that they wear face masks in customers' homes. I could be wrong, but that's what I remember. No one has been in our home without a face covering since this COVID situation began--in fact, no one had been beyond our entryway as we both fall into the "vulnerable" group. I suppose I could have asked him to leave, but I kept waiting for him to put it on! I covered my nose and mouth as much as possible. So at the end, he was super anxious to get out of our house and get to wherever he was going, but not half as anxious as I was to get him out of my home. Never again. I will call someone else and pay more $$.

No issues with service. However, they will solicit you forever if you ever use them once.

It took a couple of weeks and a couple of visits and a third visit for consultation. Rat had chewed a new hole in soffit and fascia and even old morter every day for a total of eight entry/escape routes. Mike plugged the first two but took the time to explain everything I needed to know about process. From watching Mike and following his explanations, once I plugged all the subsequent viable exit/entry points it was just a couple of days before I caught the rat.

Excellent service. Tech sprayed inside & outside for household insects, and installed bait stations for rat control. Different tech sprays yard, shrubs and trees for mosquito control.

Smooth. Technician treated the specific area indoors and out and mentioned what to expect from the treatment provided.

After discovering several large brown **** roaches in our home, I called several pest control companies serving the Fort Worth area. Living in North Texas near a lake, I also saw the need for an extended pest control program. Metro Guard was the only company that would respond the same day. I also asked for a termite inspection which was accomplished the same day. I was so impressed with Metro Guard's responsiveness and professionalism, I purchased a 12-month pest control program.

Matt came out very quickly to give us a quote and we were scheduled within a short period of time for treatment for termites. He came early to both appointments, very professional in his approach and we look forward to being part of a maintenance program with the company.

The first explained everything fully and was very helpful. The second time I use them they sent someone who did not appear to know what he was doing.

Product that was used did not work at all and there was no change. Would not recommend at all!!!! The $55 deal is no where near the actual price. Never using this service again....

Technician was on time, friendly, informative, and not pushy about selling further services. This leads me to believe I will use them again, replacing less-than-satisfying and pricey Orkin.
