They arrived on time, examined the infestation, identified the pests, and treated the area promptly. I was very pleased with the results.

They were very prompt in their response and scheduling. There was a threat of rain so they came back in a few days to finish the outside and did not rush. The tech seemed very knowledgeable and was friendly.

Tech was early both times, didn't call ahead. I like to be home when they arrive, are preforming services and leave. Service was regular spraying for insects. Found some ants, tech say carpenter ants, Treated for that as well...... Called to get termite inspection, lady answering phone was cold almost to the point of rude. Got the impression I was brothering here. Wanted $300 to do termite inspection for exisiting customer. Thanked here and hung up. There are several large companies offering termite inspections free of charge. I used one on this list and it was really free. No brouchures were ever presented describing services from this company, only tech word.

After finding out that our termite control company had gone out of business I searched Angie's List for reviews and recommendations. I spoke with 2 different companies and got 2 estimates for what it would cost to get rid of the termites that we had found in an area of our house. I wound up choosing the first company, Metro Guard. Kyle was the technician who came to our home to give us the estimate and explain about the method they would use to eliminate the termits. Kyle was very professional and personable and very knowledgeable. When Kyle came out to do the inspection and give us the estimate, there was no pressure to have them do the work and the inspection was free. When he came to do the work he was very punctual, and thorough, he went right to work with the treatment. Kyly was very courteous and answered any questions that I had. He gave me a couple of options on a few things that he needed to do. The work is warrantied for 18 months and after that we have the opportunity to renew for a reasonable rate of $96 a year for the next 10 years. We are very pleased with the service that was provided to us by Metro Guard and will definitely use them again. Everything went as planned according to the plan that Kyle recommended for us.

Matt arrived as scheduled to measure our house to determine an estimate. The full treatment included interior treatment under/around all water sources inside the house as well as trenching around the exterior of the house. We had just had a new French drain/gravel/walkway installed several weeks ago and my husband chose not to have trenching done on that side. Matt agreed to work around this and instead used a rod to introduce enough chemical around that side of the house for protection. Work was done in two steps, but only because it was raining on the original scheduled day. In order for the chemical to be effective, it must soak in and it won't do that on wet soil. I thought this was a very professional and ethical choice on Matt's part. I wouldn't have known any different, and he could have just rushed the job. Instead he came back later that week to complete the outside of the house. And to my husband's relief, the returned the gravel and walkway over the french drain to pristine condition. Way to go guys!! Will use them again.

I thought they were thorough and competitive in price. I also used the recommendations from Angie's List to make my decision on using this company. I would use this company again in the future.

I researched a lot of companies before settling on Metro Guard. We had initally been under a pest control program with an 'enviromentally friendly' company who, despite our telling them of our finding termites in the back yard, were unable to take care of the problem. After we found a nasty infestation under our kitchen sink and extending into 3 base cabinets we decided to take the more proactive route in keeping pests out of our home. Nick James was our technician from Metro Guardand he was very polite, comfortable to talk to and very unobtrusive. He spent almost the entire day in and around our home and the kids and I felt completely comfortable with his presence. At the initial visit he measured the perimeter of the home and gave us an estimate for the work. There was absolutely no pressure to sign a contract and Nick simply gave us all the information (safety reports on the chemicals they would use, sample contracts, warranties, etc) and told us to let us know when we wanted to go ahead. Once we decided to go ahead and do the work he was able to come out and do it within a week. Nick spent a couple of hours indoors injecting foam around all the inlets into our home. He had to drill small holes into a closet wall to reach the back of the shower pipes and also had to cut a hole to the underneath of our tub. He patched things up perfectly so that the holes were not noticeable. After that he spent the rest of a very warm afternoon outside trenching holes around the foundation and injecting gallons (140 gallons, to be exact) of termidor into the soil. The work took the better part of a full day and I have no doubt that he was very thorough. It is now mid November and not only have we not had any issues with termites, we've also seen a complete end to a reccurent roach issue we were having. (A random one would pop up in the kitchen or bathroom). The treatment is warrantied for 18 months and we will be able to renew the warranty for 10 years at $135 a year. They will not repair termite damage to the home if it occurs in the future even if we are under contract. We no longer have a pest control contract with the other company but intend to sign on with Metro Guard when the need arises.

They came out when they said they would and gave me options of just doing kind of a spot treatment or an overall treatment. They did exactly what they said they were going to do and it worked. They just really did a great job for me.

I requested an appointment online, was called the next day, and scheduled service within a week, which could have been sooner but I wanted a Saturday appointment. The representative arrived on time and took care in pointing out issues to me for possible future treatment. He went above and beyond what I expected. I will definitely use them again.

Great experience! He was on time and prompt. He showed me a couple of holes, including one large one, on the outside of our home going into our attic. Assessed the attic to be sure no pests were present. I did end up spending more than expected because I purchased the rodent traps, but they are well worth it and it is guaranteed for 6 months. The pest control spray is guaranteed for 90 days. This was the second time we used them. They called us at the end of the 90 days from the previous treatment. They asked if we wanted them to come out to maintain the service we received without being pushy.

We just moved into a new home and having a problem with ants, because of the great response at Angie's List we decided use Metro Guard. We've had to have them back two times for ant problems the last time I was told that if I wanted to get rid of the fire ants I would have to pay an additional $189. I have had other services that have gotten rid of fire ants for $100 and they only would have to come back once for a second application. They are very polite and have always been on time. The technicians seem very knowledgable about what they do.

We have been using them for several years. Kenneth is our guy and he is amazing. He does a very thorough job and he is very professional. He is very fast. The company stands behind their guarantee and they will come back to spray again if there are any problems. We had them come back once. Their price is very reasonable. They do a great job. I will continue to use them as long as we get Kenneth. A couple of years ago someone other than Kenneth came and we were not as pleased with the other gentleman.

He was great. They are expensive, but he does a great job. I have ants and it was really bad. They previous company I used could not get rid of them and I called them and they were able to. I have had a problem with them. I use the same guy each time and I think he is wonderful.

We are very satisfied with their services at this point. Time will tell if the ants are definitely gone!

I submitted my info through their website form THIS morning and got a call within 15 minutes! The person on the phone was able to schedule for THIS evening at 6pm. I got a call at 5pm and was told they had a cancellation and could come earlier, but I was not home yet. After I got home at 5:30, I called to tell them they could come at any time and they arrived within 5 minutes. There were two male technicians who were very courteous and professional. They worked very quickly and seemed to know their bugs :-) I was pleased.
