They were very knowledgeable, professional and told us exactly what was wrong. I did feel it was a little expensive He measured off the house accurately so he could tell us exactly how he was going to do it and had a good plan. They had to drill in the outside of the house, and did it in a way so it wasn't as noticeable. I would highly recommend them.

I contacted them via their website and I was contacted the next day. I explained that I had had termidor treated a few years earlier and instead of making the sale they strongly suggested I contact the company that had done the previous treatment and that I would most likely get a good price break from my last company I used. If I was having problems or if I still wanted to they would of course help me out. I really appreciated that they didn't try to make a sale and instead give me the best possible advice from my perspective.

They have been very professional, punctual, and fast since their first visit. I have had them out quarterly ever since. I am pleased with their service.

I emailed the company through angie's list, and they called me back almost immediately at which point we set up a 12Noon arrival time and my name, and address was given at that point. On the day of the service, 12Noon came and went, I then received a call that the service man had gone to the same house number and street name however in Ft. Worth instead of Arlington and the telephone rep said he would be at my Arlington home in 30 minutes. A young gentleman arrived and told me the annual plan they had and the cost and after looking at the particular ants I had told me the cost of $175.00 plus tax. I told him that the newspaper had a coupon for $54.95 for pest control but was told this ant did not apply for the discount. I printed out the coupon from Angie's List for $50.00 off the ant program and was told this did not apply either. I am frustrated at this point because no one called prior to the appointment to go over the address, the scheduler gave him the wrong address, and no discount coupon I thought would apply worked, I don't know if I would either use this service again or recommend this service to anyone.

Honest, honest, honest company. Two technicians came out. One earlier in the week. He told me he thought the dead bugs might be termites so he contacted office and set up an appt for Saturday morning for what I guess you would call a "termite technician". He came out this morning. Told me that the bugs were Rover ants and NOT termites. What a relief! Even pointed out to me where he could tell that house had been previously treated for termites He could have told me the bugs were termites. They had wings on them so I wouldn't have known the difference. Didn't cost me a thing. Definitely recommend. Very professional employees. Even the ladies I spoke to on the phone. Very pleasant.

They are very thorough and explained everything to me. I like that they use sprays and treatments that are not harmful to pets or children. They check everything, including the attic.

I contacted Metro for treatment on my fiance e's home. I just moved in and well... I cant handle bugs no matter the type. I contacted Metro after reviewing many companies on Angies List. They had recent positive reviews and also serviced several homes in my area. The gentleman I spoke with on the phone was professional and personable. I scheduled for service after a technician came to quote the service specific to my homes needs. He arrived ten minutes before scheduled and was very friendly and professional. I scheduled the treatment on a Friday morning for Saturday late morning. The tehnician that arrived to treat my home was the same technician that quoted me. I greatly appreciate that as he would best know the treatment needed from first hand knowledge of my home. He again arrived early, he explained his process to me as he treated my home inside and under! He explained what I should expect after treatment including cleaning instructions. Cliff (the technician) gave me the confidence and knowledge I needed in order to know how to care for my home after treatment. I was also provided with a 6 month warranty. I've only seen a few since but Cliff said it would be normal for a few weeks after treatment. I repost again after weeks or so.

The technician was early (15 minutes), but offered to wait in his truck if that was too early. He was very polite and took the time to explain to me what he was looking for and what he was doing. He explained the pricing and payment options well, too. I am a happy Metro Guard customer!

The technician was on time (10 minutes early) and performed the walk around service in the house. He wore his shoe covers when entering the house and was very knowledgable, polite and thorough. Both of my attics were inspected and treated, along with the baseboards of the whole house. He also treated all entrances and around the home. Metro Guard does not force contracts and has a competitive price model. I would definitely recommend Metro Guard for general pest control. They seem to do a good job and will order their services in the future.

I called Metro Guard because I've used them before. I noticed some bugs in several rooms that looked like swarming termites and decided to get an expert opinion. It turned out to be rover ants but I had it treated anyway since they were coming into the house. They treated inside and outside but after a month, I noticed the ants in a bathroom so I called them back for a free re-treatment. It's been several months and I haven't seen any ants returned. Overall I'm satisfied with the service.

They exterminated my house as agreed on.

The technician that treated for termites did an excellent job. He explained everything and was very friendly. The others that provide ongoing service are also very good. They did a very good job successfully trapping a squirrels over a 2 week period.

They were great! They came out and assessed our serious outdoor ant issue. They treated and also sprayed for bugs along side an indoor treatment. We had pest control by another company and I can tell you after Metro Guard left I saw more dead bugs then ever! Proof that they were much more thorough then our previous company! Thanks!

We hired Metrol Guard Termite & Pest Control on July 27, 2012. We selected an annual contract. Lonnie Tubbs is our service technician. He treated our house on July 27, October 31, and today. July 27 was our initial treatment. He showed my husband where animals (rats or squirrels) were trying to get into one of our attics through the flashing on the garage wall. We were not surprised. Our neighbors had a 2-year battle with squirrels and rats, and they finally had them out for good. That meant they would be looking for a new home, so we were glad Lonnie spotted where they were scratching and working to get into our attic. We also had a fire ant problem (yard and wall) that he took care of. No sign of them since. Our second treatment was on October 31. Scheduled the day before. Arrived on time. Did his thing. We called Metro Guard last week because we were having a problem with rover ants in our master bath. Lonnie came out today (December 17) and set baits (gel substance) in our bathroom. He then went outside to see if he could find where they were entering the house. He found it by the garage. By the time he showed me where he set the outside bait the ants were all over it. Yea!!! Lonnie is great. He's professional, but personalbe. It's like having your brother-in-law treating your house. He knows his pests, but is super likeable. I'm glad we went with Metro Guard.

I was pleased with the service

Whenever we see evidence of pests, we simply call them and they come out and treat specifically for any additional problems we may have. Usually, we have no issues, but occasionally may see spiders, ants, or carpenter ants. They have always been very professional, responsive, and punctual. The service tech is usually the same guy, James, who has been there for years; but even when someone else comes, they are always on time, know what they're doing, and do a good job. We recommend them to others often.

We had two types of ants in our home. We tried using store bought baits but the results were only temporary. I called them on Saturday morning just before noon and they had a technician out to our home an hour later! Very impressed! We thought we had carpenter ants but Matt, our technician, informed us they were fire ants and rover ants. That was a big relief. Matt provided me with various treatment options and answered all my questions before doing any work. He was efficient and thorough and wore booties over his shoes when in our home. After showing Matt where we had seen the ants, he thought the ants were coming up near the plumbing lines so he treated that area as well. The ant treatment also came with a warranty. I gave them a "B" on price simply because I have no idea what the going rate is for ant treatment. I thought it was a fair price but I had nothing to compare it to. I used an Angie's List coupon which saved me $50. Overall, very happy and will use them again and would recommend their service.

I called 15 minutes before closing, not only did they answer the phone; but scheduled a next day visit. The next day they were right on time. He spent maybe 30 minutes doing pest control. He was very polite, professional, and funny. We have not seen one single bug since Metro Guard's visit. We have a 90 day guarantee. I was quite impressed with this service.

The whole experience was great. Didn't have any problems at all.

Doug at Metro Guard diagnosed the problem on the phone and gave me simple instructions to kill the pests with a simple household product. NO CHARGE! I was worried this was a problem that required harsh chemicals, bombing, and evacuating the house for hours, but this was not the case and I was able to control the pests myself in a few moments! THANK YOU Doug, and we've hired Metro Guard to do an inspection and roach treatment at our home.

The technician showed up about 15 minutes late but that was because they had the address written down incorrectly. He apologized and explained what happened. He worked very quickly inside and outside the house, spraying the pest treatment. He made us aware and noted on the paperwork that he did see baby spiders around the foundation. He explained that the builders were building on top of their habitat and this is a problem that many people face in this area. Before he left, he explained the 90 day warranty. Overall, he was very professional.
