Services scheduled and completed in less than 24 hours. Sprayed the common insect areas within the house and thoroughly reviewed the exterior for problem spots relating to insects and rodents. The feedback was very helpful.

Very punctual, the technician arrived about 10 to 15 minutes before the scheduled time. He did spray for spiders and so far I haven't seen any new spider or webs. He also checked to make sure that wasps weren't nesting in the attic. Great price and includes a warranty if we see anymore spiders within 90 days.

They were on time, friendly and professional. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone. I have decided to use them for my commercial property as well as my home. My office manager also chose them to exterminate her home.

The rep was very professional, uniformed, and clean. Used booties to keep my carpet clean. Took me around the house and showed me where mice could enter. No hard-sell on services (thank god!).

I have used metro guard for at least 5 years. They are professional, usually on time and courteous. However they wouldn't take the coupon for the ant program. He said its for a program that was more expensive and for two kinds of ants. I felt like they should honor the coupon because it didn't specify which ant program.

After having Metro Guard out in May to spray for ants, I noticed a few had returned. Since it was under a warranty, I called them to return to treat for more ants. They returned promptly and inquired about where the ants were. They did a thorough job of treating the areas I mentioned plus more that they found as they walked through the yard. I was told to check for any more ants before the warranty is up and they would gladly reuturn to treat them again.

I had scheduled a flea treatment with another provider and got my dates mixed up. They scheduled me for a week out. I needed service the next day. I called this metro and explained my situation and they said they would see if they could rearrange their schedule and have someone out the next day. They called me back within 15 minutes and said they could have someone out that evening. It was an emergency for me and they went above and beyond to accommodate me. They were on time, performed the treatment. I had been fighting fleas for 3 weeks with bombs. I bombed the home 3 times. It has been 8 days and I haven't seen any fleas. The charge was reasonable with what other providers quoted me.

I t went really well. The Tech who came knew very well what he was going to do and he accomplished that in a very professional way.

On the morning of July 11 I heard a loud buzzing just outside the corner of one of our upstairs bedrooms. I was aware of several wasp nests on our house up high where we couldn't reach them, but was now concerned that they might be getting into the attic, so at 10:30 am I called Metro Guard to ask for someone to come out and take a look at the situation. I was offered several possible appointment times over the next few days, including the weekend. I chose the next available appointment at 2 pm the next day. On July 12, a technician arrived at 2:20 pm (with no calls to let me know he was running late). I explained my concerns and walked around the house with him to show him what I wanted done. He gave me an estimate before doing anything. I then found out he didn't have the proper equipment with him, so I had to lend him a tall ladder so he could get on the roof, plus a long pole so he could scrape off the nests that he couldn't reach otherwise. (I wonder what he would have done if I hadn't had that equipment on hand.) He removed all the nests and sprayed the spots where they had been to deter the wasps for a bit. He also took a look around and said he saw no signs that they had gotten into the attic. He also said there were no signs of any other kind of pest infestation. I'm happy that the wasps are gone, but there are no warranties provided with flying insect removal because there's not much that can be done about keeping them away, so any wasps that appear in the future will have to be dealt with again for another charge.

They didn't honor the coupon that was provided on Angie's List. They said it was for another "Ant Program". But the Coupon didn't specify that, nor did the company's website. I thought it was misleading.

I sent an email to provider who called me back within a couple hours. I explained my ant issue and felt very comfortable scheduling an appointment after the representitive explained about all the different types of ants and treatment techniques. I was able to schedule for a time and date that was good for me. Billy showed up a few minutes early and I showed him the ants and told him of some other bug issues. He explained my options and for twice the price of a single ant treatment and general bug spray I was able to schedule a full year of coverage to cover everything with 1/2 down and a payment plan to pay off the balance. which saved around 15 dollars up front cost. Billy went to work and did as he said. I have only seen maybe a couple ants since treatment and none in the last day or so The other bugs are gone as well. Well inspecting the yard the neighbor mentioned her dog had fleas so he sprayed my yard for fleas as well under the contract. I was very impressed and pleased with the service provided.

The team was professional, knowledgable, friendly and punctual. Kept their word, regarding the time frame, as to how long it would take for complete resolution(approx. 4 weeks). The best part, NO MORE ANTS!!! I will definitely use their service in the future. Thank you, Metro Guard Team!

We have used Metro Guard for 19+ years for general home bug inspection/prevention...3 to 4 times a year. They were actually the first ones to discover we had termites. I did not put a grade for price because we didn't even call anybody else so I have no way to compare. We have been completely satisified with Metro Guard for 19 years so knew we were in good hands for the treatment. When I called to set the initial site visit, the gentleman took extra time to be sure we got a termite specialist and then adjusted the date when we had something come up. "Nicolas" was the specialist who came to the house and inspected. He explained everything he was going to do thoroughly, the price options were made clear to us, and then set an appointment for the treatment for the following week. He was here on time and he did it all...moved shed, refridgerator,stuff under the sinks, etc., and did such a tidy job. Nobody wants to pay for temite removal...because nobody wants termites...but, at least we feel good knowing we were treated by the best.

I will continue to use their service. Their service is good. They were honest and on time. Everyone from the office people to the service technicians were polite, professional, and courteous. The price was very fair compared to other companies I have used.

For the last several years always we have had the same technician (Art) and he knew our home and did all that was necessary to keep it "bug free" and if the problem was not covered under the contract he was very forthright about our options...After his retirement , a young man named James became our technician and he is just as professional as Art...We will continue with their service until we sell this home ,,

I have been with Metro Guard over 15 years. I had them do a termite service 10 years ago. We have had the same bug technician for the last 10 years, his name is Mark and he is awesome. He is receptive, punctual, and helpful. He is a really nice guy. The guy in the office is named Ed, he is the one that calls and schedules the quarterly service and he is a delight to work with as well. I just found out that he just retired. He was very friendly and a really nice man. He was always upbeat and sweet. Their prices are competitive with everybody else. I will continue to use them.

Overall, they did what they said they would do. They did miss one time to check on traps....explained that it was a miss-communication on their part and apologized.

!Matt arrived early which was great for me. He listened intently as I told him of our problem areas. He discussed our options with prices included. I selected what I thought would be good for us and he went to work spraying areas and putting out rodent boxes with bait inside. He was very up front with prices and procedures and did not have a complex grouping of different packages that I could buy which made me feel like he had MY best interests in mind. I will definitely use them again

I called and was told I could not get an inspection due to all technicians being on calls. I was placed on hold and then told someone would be at my house that afternoon. After confirming my fears the technician went over the treatment and cost and we scheduled the treatment. The price was less than what I expected. The technician showed up on time and completed the job in about 5 hours. He cleaned up after himself and you could barely tell he had been doing anything. He was very courtious and professional and I was very happy with the service.

On initial visit, only the interior treatments were made because it started raining outside and they didn't want the rain to dilute the exterior perimeter treatments. The outside treatments were rescheduled for another day. Exterminator showed up on time as scheduled and called the day before to confirm the appointment time.

The technician arrived on time and performed a complete inspection of the interior, exterior and attic. The property was treated for ants, spiders and other pests. Excellent service. Good Interpersonal skills. Very thorough. Very informative.

Mike and his colleague were very professional, educated me about the types of bug issues we'd have and hopefully the spraying will help. He was punctual and knowledgeable. We are thinking of upgrading to a yearly service that will help protect us year round.

Instead of coming directly here to look for a good pest control service, I originally called Orkin. The first thing I was told when I called them was that they didn't accept checks or cash & I had to provide a credit card over the phone in order for a man to come to our house. They said it would cost $300. No credit card? No appointment! I showed him where the ants came out, but none were visible because they only come out between 9:30 and 10 PM. I showed him lots of dead specimens I'd collected. He said they weren't flying ants -- they were termites, and Orkin would send a termite person either that afternoon or the next day. I compared the dead bugs with the images on Orkin's site, and these were absolutely, positively flying ants. If I'd taken his word for it, we would have paid for a very expensive termite treatment! He also went into our attic. When you pull down the attic ladder, it clearly says the max weight it can support is 275 lbs. The minute we pulled down the ladder, my husband and I exchanged glances and cringed because the Orkin man weighed at least 325 lbs. He simply stomped up the ladder, and every rung creaked in agony. When he came back down the latter, he did so aggressively and really stamped his foot on the bottom rung...and you could hear the wood split. I couldn't believe that these were termites and looked for second opinion. They next day, I went to Angie's List and found Metro Guard. The man who came out looked at the dead bugs & confirmed they were flying ants. He said that there's no way you could honestly mistake them for termites. As described in another section of my report, he took care of our problem. He was professional and did his work quickly and without a lot of jibberjabber. In fact, our appointment was for 11AM. At 11:02, their office called to say he's stuck in traffic and would be their shortly. He arrived at 11:04. Talk about service & attention to detail...wow! But the story doesn't end there. And I'm telling you the rest of the story so you'll remember why the membership for Angie's List is probably the best money you'll ever spend! I called Orkin's regional manager to tell them I don't need their termite person, that I'd already gotten rid of the ants because of Metro Guard and to complain about their bait-and-switch policy. I also mentioned the issue with the ladder. According to Orkin, they got no such feedback from their employee. In fact, he told them that I'd cancelled my appointment & they wanted to reschedule it! I explained the story of Orkin's visit and how I'd called Metro Guard after visiting Angie's List. I was given lots of apologies and told that they'd make sure such a situation would never happen again. The next day, I got a call from a local woman who worked at the Orkin office. She said, "I'd like to inspect your home and the ladder." I didn't care for the phrase "inspect your home" and asked her to explain why she had to inspect my home. She then said she wanted to inspect the work done in our home and the ladder. I told her Orkin didn't do the work, so there was no Orkin work to inspect. She said she knew that but wanted to inspect the work anyway and the ladder. I told her there was no need for her to inspect someone else's work since I was happy with it. She then said, "I want to inspect the ladder." I wouldn't use a ladder I considered unsafe no matter what someone else's opinion was, I didn't need the Orkin administrative person to look at it. She's not a certified OSHA ladder inspector and probably knows less about ladders than I do. Don't make the same stupid mistake I did. Come to Angie's List when you need to find a reputable company that has happy customers. I will never forget this experience and will come here whenever I need a professional to do some work for me.

My biggest complaint is the way he left the yard. I have been struggling to get the grass to grow (instead of weeds) since I bought this property in 2004. The grass next to the house was already pretty well established, but after he turned it up and took little care in putting it back, it's a real setback. How hard would it have been to remove the grass in sections and replace it accordingly without tearing it apart? As is, the ground next to the house is no longer smooth, many rocks and concrete chunks were turned up, and the grass is struggling to get reestablished. Not happy.
