Description of Work: Metro Guard has been doing pest control on my home since I bought it in 1998. I recommended them to a company I worked for and they have been using them for over two years. Very professional, excellent work.

Description of Work: A technician from MetroGuard came to the house and inspected for termites. He found two active areas and damage from a previously active area, all around the garage. He gave us an estimate for whole house treatment and for spot treatment. He came back a week later and did the spot treatment, which is what we decided to go with. He was on time, very professional, left the house clean, and the price was exactly what he had quoted. I would definitely use this company again and recommend it to others.

Description of Work: They looked around, looked for the ants I had called about and explained what they thought I needed. The guy they sent out was extremely knowledgeable. He had worked in the industry for the past 18 years, the last 4 at Metro guard. He treated today and I signed a one year contract. Said if the ants returned , he would return to spray. They use top notch products. I was very satisfied. I thought the price was a little high but I just moved from a small town. Maybe this is the big city price. He did honor the $50 off coupon from Angie's list. Very nice, professional guy.

Description of Work: I contacted Metroguard Pest Control for a general pest treatment at my home and for an ant treatment at a rental property that I own. Appointments were scheduled on 7-5-12 at 11:00 a.m. for my home and 7-6-12 at 2:00 p.m. for the rental property. I was very clear as to the correct addresses because I had used Metroguard in the past at a home I had sold and moved away from one year earlier. In addition to providing the information on the phone, I also provided the information on their online request form and asked the scheduler to be sure to correct my home address in their records. On 7-5-12 shortly after 11:00 a.m. I received a call telling me that the technician was waiting in my front yard. He was not, instead he was at my old address across town and would not have time to make it to my home before his next appointment in the old neighborhood. I agreed to reschedule the appointment to the following day immediately after the technician treated my rental property. I arrived at the rental property 15 minutes early for a 2:00 appointment. The technician was a no show. When I called I learned that he was 15 miles away in a different city, different zip code looking for the address that I clearly provided to the scheduler. I had now taken time off from work twice in two days and was a little frustrated. The scheduler "Jennifer" was rude and condescending, I asked to speak to her supervisor and was told that she was "glad to transfer me", her tone was very rude. She transferred me to Doug who promised to contact the technician and call me back immediately. I gave him my cell phone number and told him I would await his call. Instead of Doug calling me, Jennifer called my home number and told my wife that the technician was now on the way and that he would do our home immediately following. She then stated the wrong address for our home. Learning this I called them back and just cancelled. She was again rude and condescending. As an employer myself, her conduct would earn her immediate termination if she worked for me. I will not ever do business with this company again and cannot recommend them.

Description of Work: We seen something crawling along the wall we thought were termites! Metro Gaurd came out and looked at the bugs and told us they were Ants. The Service Man went around and performed an inspection on the rest of the house! In the end there was no charge for the visit!

He was extremely polite and very professional. I will recommend this company to all my family and friends. Thank You to Matt and the company he represents.
