When I first purchased the 'Big Deal', owner Terry Clyde called me first thing the following morning. This was in early March 2013. Due to my schedule, we didn't arrange for any work to be done until later that month. Terry and his 2 workers came out on March 28th and they were polite, professional, and got the work done very quickly. These are some of the things they did. Sealed vents on roof; sealed around chimney; purchased, sized, installed and painted door kick plates for exterior of French doors; repaired and repainted some door jams; demo'd garage door jam and rebuilt and painted it. They were able to use existing paint that I had left over from a previous job. Also secured some soffits and fascias. Terry had mentioned that he was going to Africa for a month or so to do missionary work. When he returned, I asked his painter to even out the paint on the French doors. I also mentioned that one set of doors had been very hard to open/close and I didn't know if it was related to the prior work they did. Terry said it didn't matter and proceeded to fix the door for no charge. And the painter did a great job evening out the paint. This was on 8/24/2013. It's hard for me to gauge the price and quality of the work as I have little knowledge or experience with home maintenance. (I'm a first time homeowner and my house was built in the 1940s.) But I figure that it all worked out for the best. 9/3/13 I would like to add to the above regarding my ability to gauge price and quality. Although somethings such as rotted wood were easy for even me to spot, I have no way of knowing if all of the repairs were needed or even found. I later suggested to Terry that if he continues to advertise that he does a '60-point wind and rain leak inspection', he might come prepared with a 60-point checklist. Doing so would be of value to a consumer and, in the long run, be valuable to Terry's business.

He wanted to do a lot of extensive work, but another company was able to fix the problem without all of this work.

Terry arrived promptly and completed a thorough mortar repair around my entire house. He and his employee worked efficiently, neatly, and I am very impressed with the quality of their work. We also discussed many other possible areas and cost efficient ways to repair them. Terry was friendly and very knowledgeable about home construction. We will definitely use them again.

I purchased the Angie's List Big Deal b/c we were hearing a rattling in the attic and I wanted to get the wind leak tracked down. The day after I purchased the deal, Terry called both my cell phone and home phone to set up an appointment. I wasn't able to take either call, and before I could return his calls, he had left several more messages. It went beyond responsive - it seemed almost pushy to me as I didn't necessarily want to set up the appointment immediately and hadn't had time to get back to him. They came out in the morning and checked the whole house over, then came inside to give me the details. He handed me a breakdown of every "problem" he found with our house, which in his opinion amounted to $3180.00 worth of repairs. He basically told us that everything on our house needed to be repaired or sealed in some way. It is a 30 year old house so I'm sure it is in need of some attention, but his estimate seemed extreme. He then told me he thought the roof was in bad condition and would need to be replaced. Since we only bought the house last September, we've had 2 different roofers and the insurance company inspect it and they all came to the conclusion that it would be fine for another 10 years or so and absolutely did not need to be replaced. Although Terry was very nice and courteous, I felt pressured by his sales pitch and came away with a bad taste in my mouth about the whole experience. It seemed as if he was trying to scare me into a huge repair that I don't believe is necessary.

Terry was at my house 3 days plus a couple of hours in the 4th day. He had 1-2 men working for him during the job. He and they were on time and worked efficiently and thoroughly. They were courteous and polite and cleaned up at the end of each day and at the end of the job. I work at home sometimes, so they worked with my schedule and kept noise at a minimum , when needed. Terry removed all rotten wood caused by leaking masonry and unsealed opens. Replaced all wood, primed and sealed all openings Repaired, caulked and or sealed all cracked, loose or damage masonry including the top of the chimney . He made some minor roof repairs and painted the flashing to match surfaces better. The windows and doors look much better with old paint and caulking removed and the resealed and painted to match. Terry worked to make all new and old repairs match existing masonry and wood colors so now even the old repairs have disappeared. He also took great care when removing and replacing the wood around a large stain glass window in the front of the house. Additionally at no added cost, Terry also addressed and eliminated a couple gaps in 2 exterior doors that had not been talked about during his initial inspection. During the job, he also found additional masonry cracks and stains, as well as, damaged wood that he corrected. I am very happy with the work that Leak Trackers did. I believe that my 84 four year old house will easily last another 84 years and beyond with fewer problems in the future. I recommend highly.

I spent way beyond the big deal amount. It went very well! They were very cordial and very professional. They actually lined up my back door so it closed the right way. They're very nice about it. They were one of the few people that did not complain about driving to my house. With these guys it's like, "Hey, it's part of our job. It's a nice drive" So they were very open. We appreciated that. They didn't complain about the excessive distance to the job.

They were right on time, maybe a bit early. They seemed very knowledgeable, and went right to work. I called them about a very specific leak in a odd shaped window over the sliding glass door. I explained I was pretty sure the leak was either coming from around the window, or the seal of the window. This is why I called them. I tried to fix it myself, but it still leaked. After they were done, they painted the areas, and left everything nice and clean. A week or so later I took my garden hose and sprayer and tested the one area that caused me to bring them out in the first place. I was horrified to find water coming in the interior of the house in less than 5 minutes - in the exact area I told them about. Well, I called the back immediately, and they came out the next morning and found the pen-sized hole and fixed the issue. I tested it again several days later, and I was relieved to find the repairs worked. No more water was getting in. That's the only reason I gave them a "B" on Quality. Had they done the repairs correctly on the first visit on the exact area I suspected was the problem, the Quality grade would have been an "A". Fortunately, it all worked out in the end, and I'm very happy with their work and the results - no more leaks from outside - especially around that one darn window.

They did a fine job. I don't have any issues with them so far. I was shocked with the angie's list coupon. They came to me immediately within a couple of hours. My husband was there that time and he seemed to like them a lot. They were prompt. I can say that they were very knowledgeable. The only thing we did not like is they did not do the roof repair instead they looked at the mortar of the whole house. The estimate was a little bit high so we did not use them for that.

Although we did not utilize his services, it was very helpful to get a comprehensive list of projects we needed to undertake.. And it was well worth the $39 fee..

I called Terry after getting his very detailed bid to restore our windows and bids on new windows. He said he could start immediately and that the work was tedious and time consuming. They started their work on Wednesday, May 8, 2013. They are early risers and arrived on site at around 6:30 every morning. They worked until about 3 or 4 pm depending on the temperature. Terry and Travis immediately started to strip the paint, repair the wood etc. One thing Terry did was cover the sils with metal. He cut metal out to fit the sills and then sealed them down with caulk and screws. Once they were primed and painted they looked really good and I have the peace of mind in knowing they will not rot or leak. After the windows were prepped and all weak spots repaired, they were primed and then painted. Terry used the same color as the oringinal paint but recommended changing the finish to an egg shell type sheen to repel water even more. After the windows were painted they were individually glazed and sealed. Each window is an individual window and had to be glazed individually. This took some time. After a night of drying the glaze was trimmed and each window cleaned. Thy also touched up any areas with paint that needed it. Please see the pictures. As you can see the how great our windows look. The work was time consuming and tedious and the work was completed on May 17, 2013. We feel our windows look great and will last several years and we will stay on top of the maintenance this time as we know that our windows are great quality and will last for years now that they have been professionally restored by Leak Trackers. They gave me a price that was too high, so I didn't get the work done through them. I did it myself. They were really nice and very professional. I would recommend them to others.

Terry and his crew were very punctual and professional. They seem to know what they are doing. Although we haven't had rain since the service was performed, I'm confident that the problem is fixed...or if not, I'm confident Terry will come back and make it right. The price seemed high, and Terry told me I was getting a signficant discount. However, if the windows are truly sealed, the price is a lot cheaper than having to pay for repairs to the walls due to water damage.

They found a cracked tile on the roof and immediately fixed it free of charge. Provided a very god estimate for other work to do although right now just out of my range, but otherwise confirmed roof was good. Very happy with their service.

They showed up on time and were very professional.

Excellent. Gave excellent advice what need to be done. (very little) Most important pointed out solutions his company could not do. I followed up to fix these problems bases on their advice.

It was okay. He came out and quoted us. He told us that we don't have any real problems. It was a great service. They did what they said they were going to do, they looked at the job. I was satisfied with what they did and I would recommend them. They are very quality oriented.

Average. Tried to sell me a lot more services but passed.

Wish I had more hands so I could give him 4 thumbs up. Came polite and courteous and on time,accessed the situation ran a pressure test found the root of the problem all in about 45 minutes cleaned up wrote the estimate and was on his way. Thanks again.

The work was done professionally. The company was very knowledgeable about fixing rain water leaks and gave me a 5 year warrranty if leaks occurred again in the repaired areas. We have not had a driving rain since the repairs were done so do not know if this fixed the repairs..

They were 30 mins late but had called before the appt. time to let me know that they would be a little late. I like that! There were two that inspected for leaks and were there for an hour. I was pleasently surprised that they found no problems and did not try to sell me addditional work. Terry, the owner, was one of the two who came and I had a very good visit with him. I was impressed with his experience and operation.

I don't have a high recommendation for them but they were okay.
