Leak Trackers

I bought the deal on 7/28 and was called within a few hours to schedule. They came out on 7/29 at 7am to do the work. The rate was $100 per hour which included the materials. There were three of them so the deal covered one hour of work. It went very well and I'm pleased with the result. Terry and his crew were very pleasant and worked the entire hour they were here. I'd hire them again.

With Leak Trackers: They needed me to wait 2 weeks before they could come out and meet to discuss. Scheduled for 7/14 at 4pm. They came at 2:30 with no notice and spoke to my children "hope your mom makes a lot of money because the coupon will hardly cover what needs to be done". Called me this morning to reschedule when I would be home. I scheduled myself off work to meet them yesterday and it's unprofessional for them to come unannounced early and talk to my 16 year old about the job. CTG Custom Tile: Attempts to schedule failed over and over. Also, the correspondence was poor (misspellings, not clear) leading me to believe they were unprofessional. Finally couldn't wait to schedule with them any longer and paid someone else to do it for me.

They did a good job. We had several people come in and give us different opinions on what was going on out there. Theirs was the most logical and practical fix. It wasn't the cheapest but it wasn't the most expensive. It worked and it was the most logical solution. They solved the problem. They identified it and had a good solution. They worked responsively and quickly. Their painting was a little sloppy. That was the only bad thing.

They did way beyond what they were suppose to do. They were superb. They were very nice, considerate and polite. They didn't do anything with out asking me first. They always asked for my input and worked consistently.

We were very pleased with the quality of work and wouldn't notice any repair unless we knew where it was. This is a small business and Terry is there to do or supervise the work at every step. He also gave some valuable recommendations for companies on Angie's List to do more detailed masonry work. He and his crew were very personable and a pleasure to work with.

The work was much more than the deal covered. The type of work and the need for the work was explained and shown in a patient and courteous way. They identified problems that I had not seen but were obvious to a trained eye. One area was repaired as a sample of the work before agreeing to continue. All of the work was completed in one day. The repairs were barely visible because the mortar color was matched so well. A little pricey I thought, but I was very pleased with the results.

They came out to determine why 6 of my windows leak during a heavy rain. When they came out they didn't look professional. It was just a crew of 3 men, I almost didn't let them come in the house. They determined the leak was between glass and window frames and that they would seal 6 windows for $1080. There is a 5 year warranty on the work, but after three visits the windows still leak in heavy rain. Since they only leak during a heavy rain, you can't tell if the repair works until the next heavy rain. The owner doesn't return calls in a timely manner. Sometimes I've left as many as 4 messages to get one return phone call.

I actually had to have this specific deal refunded because I needed something different. I appreciated his honesty. However, I had used their in the past and everything went very well. I had a leak in the sun roof and he came out immediately to repair the leak. After he repaired the leak, he went around the entire home to make sure all the windows were in good shape, as well. He repaired the leak right before a nasty storm and I was very impressed with the service. I would definitely use them again.

It went well. I plan to contact the recommended company once I receive my refund.

The service went well. They repaired cracks in the mortar between the bricks. They did exactly what the deal stated. The technician was very friendly, informative and provided a lot of great suggestions for additional work in the future. It was fairly easy to schedule them out. aba

When I purchased the deal, I was given 3 dates that I could choose from for the date of service. I did choose one that was given, but they then came back and said it was no longer available, and that only July 10th was available at that point. We needed the work to be done sooner, so we did not end up using them. They were fine and I was happy that they communicated with us about the date, so that we were not waiting.

They were absolutely amazing! First of all, I ran across them after searching for masonry workers that could fix the cracks I had in my facade. They had an Angie's List Big Deal which halved their fees. I was sold since I had a structural engineer examine my home and determined that I didn't need to have foundation work done, but his list of masonry workers all ran about $400-$500. My Big Deal...$200. So far, so good I thought since their reviews appeared to have been pretty stellar. I got to see why... Firstly, I was called by the company within two days after providing my requested work days from their company. I appreciated that. I set up my work day which was very convenient for me and I only had to wait one week, not weeks or months. I was called the evening before to confirm their arrival time. That was really considerate in my eyes! They were scheduled to arrive by eight a.m. They arrived by 7:55 am. When I say 'they' I mean about three employees - including the owner - showed up and went to work immediately! They didn't need to drink their coffee, or smoke a few cigarettes before they started. They got right to work. They were done in an hour! I had no idea of what to expect, but I really pleased as I now had the rest of my day to use as I pleased! Their work was awesome! It's been a few months since they serviced my home, but I wanted to see how the work would hold up. It's great. You can't even tell that I had work done. The owner explained that he uses this specially formulated caulk-like filler that he is able to match to a brick's color. My facade looks great! I am thoroughly pleased, and was even more pleased when they did an exterior walk-about to see if I had any more cracks for them to fill up. I would definitely use this company again if necessary.

We were very satisfied with him. I really liked him a lot. I would definitely use him again. He fixed the problem and I trusted him, I guess. I felt like he knew what he was doing. I had no problems. At that time, it was worth every penny.

Terry and his crew arrived dead on 7am. They got to work mixing up a few samples to try and match the color of the mortar on our house, and then got to work filling in all the gaps. Once they had taken care of the most obvious repairs we walked around the house a few times filling in even the tiniest holes and doing a little bit of cosmetic work. Terry only left once I was entirely satisfied and inspected the work. Despite all the repairs done to the mortar it is nearly impossible to see that any repairs have been done. If I didn't point it out to some-one I highly doubt they would be any the wiser. I am very happy with the quality of the work and would gladly use Terry again, though I don't expect I'll need to as this job was done pretty well. The cost was a little expensive, though to be fair I couldn't find anyone else who provided this service.

It was fine. They were prompt in contacting me. It turns out, they repair cracks in house facades with a poly material rather than mortar. I needed a decorative brick wall fixed in a couple of spots, and that isn't their specialty. They did offer to do the work, but wanted more money. I was not comfortable having them do it.

Something that bothers me about when we first started talking, she asked me how I found out about them, I told them through Angies List and she seemed surprised but said that why don't I cut out the middle-man and just pay them the $80 service fee. I explained that I don't pay Angies List a Service Fee and don't understand what she meant by a middle-man. I explained that I typically engage the service provider directly using the information provided by Angies List and she said "I know how it works" - needless to say, our conversation was very confusing and she seemed very unprofessional. I don't know who this lady was in relation to "Terry" the apparent owner but I also didn't see in their profile that an $80 service fee is assessed just for giving someone an estimate. I understand that service businesses can spend a lot of time and effort doing estimates with as high as a 20:1 return ratio but thats really the gamble of being in this business. I don't know if I spoke directly to Terry that I would have gotten a different answer or not based on the glowing feedback on Angies List but I can tell you I won't call back based on the way this lady handled my call.

Terry did a great job. He came out to provide us an estimate that was cost effective but ensuring structurally sound repairs. He was back within 2 weeks to handle phase one of a two phase job. He was on time, very thorough in his explanations, performed quality work, and quick. Being the owner of an older home, I will definitely be using Terry's services again in the future. Terry just completed the second phase of our project and it looks fabulous! He cleaned out the old brick and repaired the wall to a state that you have no idea it was original. He was prompt, honest, and cleaned up. Will definitely use Terry again in the future.

They were thorough in the appointment. They came out when they said they would. I thought they were very expensive to do the work I wanted. I feel another company would have provided this service to free.

The guy who did the examination was very thorough - even walked the roof to examine the pipes that protrude. He identified and explained to me an issue that a $600 engineer did not notice when I had the house inspected before I purchased it. In addition, he noticed a problem with the chimney, told me what needed to be done, and told me about a highly rated company on Angie's list that could fix it and told me the approximate cost to fix it. Leak Trackers asked for a 7 a.m. appointment in order to get the work done before it got too hot and I was happy to agree to this. My doorbell rang exactly at 7 a.m. I learned a bit about the construction of my home from Leak Trackers.

It was great! Terry was able to give me advice as far as how to proceed and he was right! The plumber was able to help me find out where the drain line was plugged up and we were able to quickly resolve this. I appreciate the honesty of Terry and if I ever have masonry or leak issues he'll be the first one I call!

Arrived early. Explained his process and materials in detail. Surveyed my home and provided estimate for futher needed work. Completed work in accordance to Angie"s list special. Very professional and easy to work with. Only issue was communication over phone. We needed to talk several times to set up date of work. His voice mail does not work. He did answer Email sent over Angie"s promptly.

The last time we spoke you were going to pay us at the time of the repair & when we arrived you were not there so we honored the coupon/hours you purchased & left. Any additional trips will mean an additional charge. Gretchen Grennell 4/28/2014 I was there and thought you would come to the door when finished to let me know what else could be done with the remaining time, but after 1 hour, you and the other 2 men left. You would be cleaning up the mortar you left on the brick you installed, not someone else's work.

Terry is a good guy, does the work himself with a partner. He has been in the business for a long time and takes pride in his work. He doesn't just fix, he makes things look nice.

If there was a rating better than EXCELLENT, Terry would receive it. First, he was early, got right to work. brings ALL the right equipment the FIRST TIME and patched and masonry right by my front door...he matched the texture and color so well I couldn't even see the repair! Terry also patched concrete by a door threshold (again couldn't even tell the repair), lastly he caulked the masonry above each window of my tudor house...and by the way that's a bunch of windows. Second, if you own a home and need masonry, concrete or caulking repair...make it match and do it in the time specified and NOT try to up charge you...HIRE TERRY! (He is as much artist as contractor) Lastly, this was the BEST $225.00 I have spent on Angie's List. Thank you Terry!

I delayed responding to the request for a review wanting to make sure that I gave a fair review. Now a year has passed and I'm still being petitioned for feedback and still no clear answer so here is what I have to say: I think the provider did a very thorough job. The problem was that they generated a daunting list of repairs - $4,820 before a $960 discount - which I may need. I don't know. I was left with a feeling of anxiety about whether or not my home is as sound as I think it is. I don't rule them out but I'd prefer to see reviews from others before moving forward.
