We had a list of minor electrical repairs that we wanted to have fixed. He was able to complete them all within the hour of labor covered by the Big Deal coupon we had purchased. We were very pleased and will use him again as we need electrical repairs.

Rylan came out right away and fixed what turned out to be a simple switch. He is my regular electrician now.

I came to try Lakewood Electrical because they were an Angie'sList special. Several GFCI outlets in the kichen of a house that I had tenants in had stopped working. When the owner, Ryla, came out, upon inspection he found that they had been tripped, and just not re-set! Now, in defense of the female tenants who told me the outlets no longer worked, they had actually pushed the reset. The problem, as Rylan explained and showed me....some GFCI plugs are very hard to push, you actually may have to press the reset button with the end of a wooden spoon handle, or if in the bathroom, the end of toothbrush or someone....some are very difficult to reset. So, nothing lost really because he took time to also answer questions I had about other electrical issues. Very knowledgable and helpful.

I had them install a light in my garden shed and they did a great job. They ran a enclosed wire, installed the light with a long pull string - perfect!

They did a very good job and I had no problems with the service.

No services were performed. I was told I was not in his service area. Gave a C grade, but it should be N/A.

I ordered the advertised Angie's list special of 2 hrs electrical work for $99. I think the special combined with some bad timing in his personal life, caused them to be seriously over loaded. I left several messages with out a call back. Finally gave up. Months later he called and after a couple of reschedules he showed and performed service.

Never did hear from company.

I called Rylan for an estimate for installing a bath exhaust fan. After asking me several questions about my older (1964) home, he said he'd like to stop by to take a look at everything, so he didn't give me an incorrect quote. He stopped by the next day and my husband showed him the bathroom and our attic. He quoted $375, which sounded steep, but he explained the reason for the charge and said it would take three to four hours. I asked if he could schedule the work for Oct. 8, two weeks later, since I was off work that day. He agreed. Rylan showed up on time on Oct. 8, and completed the job as promised and for the amount quoted. He used a huge drop-cloth for my bathroom, since he had to cut a hole in the ceiling and the falling insulation would have made a mess. He was friendly and we chatted as he worked. Rylan is professional and I would not hesitate to hire him again!

Everything went really well we were happy with the service.

I signed up for a Angie special deal for 1 hr of electric work for 49.00. The electician arrived at the schedule time and replaced the receptacle.

He put in 2 GFI's outside our house and checked our breaker box for us. Very professional and helpful.

Very good, didn’t even take an hour to do all of my jobs for the hour of the Big Deal I purchased. He told me the switches were OK for a couple of years. I had two ceiling light fixtures to hang that were two stories high. He was able to easily reach them and did a beautiful job. He was a pleasant man I would use him again in a heartbeat.

He was prompt, and he did a good job. Anything is expensive these days, but I was really not upset with the price he charged. He was late, but he called me and told me that he was going to be late so it wasn’t a problem.

Rylan was right on time and went right to work. He is a very knowledgable electrician and was easy to get along with. I'll be using his services again in the future.

The first time I tried to leave a message their voicemail was full. I never connected so I requested a refund.

He was very polite and seemed to know his business well.

The one time we allowed a contractor to use a different electrician, we had to call Rylan out to correct the errors made by the other company. He is always prompt, efficient, capable, and reliable. Every project has been on budget and on schedule. We have consistently been impressed with the quality of his work and work ethic, and will continue to utilize the services of Lakewood Electrical. We highly recommend this company.

Rylan Gray of Lakewood Electrical arrived promptly on the dot of the pre-scheduled time and date. He assessed the job and suggested a ceiling fan light box in case I wanted to install a fan/light as it would provide more stability. I was very pleased with the work and his suggestion on the type of light box installed. The work was done quickly, efficiently and cleanly. I am very happy with Rylan Gray and his work. He is a very polite, friendly and efficient worker. My dog, Sophie, liked him too! I would definitely call him again whenever I have electrical work.

I was extremely pleased with Rylan's work from his prompt arrival to his departure. His manner was profession and he worked quickly and efficiently. We were able to accomplish all I had on 'my to do list' and then some. This $99.00 Big Deal worked very well.

This is the third project Rylan has handled for us and each has been handled in a professional and timely manner. When I ask questions Rylan answers them right away. I don't feel like I'm being told a story. I feel I am getting the correct and truthful answer. Could not be happier. I would recommend Rylan to anyone. We discovered Rylan also does works for some of our neighbors and they all feel the same.

I assumed there would be additional work since my house is over 30 years old and a previous contractor had said the electrical panel had issues. Rylan arrived on time and inspected the panel. He was courteous and professional. My panel was a fire hazard and out of code to the extent it needed to be completely replaced and relocated out of the closet to the garage or the outside wall. Outside wall was much closer, even though it required cutting through the brick to run the wires into the new panel. Rylan and Brian were able to come out on a Saturday and spent all day at the job (9 am - just before 5 pm). Installation of the new electrical panel and grounding rod went well, and they cleaned up after themselves. I did not price shop, so I don't know how their fee compares to others. I did have a friend have to replace their electrical panel and that was over $1000 so for the amount of work, and hours for two men to spent at the job, I think the price I paid was fair. I am very happy with the word done and would hire Rylan again.
