Rylan was very knowledgeable and was not at all intimidated by trying to sort through multiple eras and types of electrical wiring. He also seemed to know a lot about related topics like attic insulation, and gave us some good tips. The work went as scheduled; if anything, they finished a bit earlier than expected. Yes, the cost was not insignificant, but the peace of mind was worth it. Not to mention, there is a great value in simply finding someone you feel you can trust, who'll just show up and get it done right the first time. I would definitely use Lakewood Electrical again and have referred them to other friends.

He was great - wish it was a little less expensive, but I would trade the cost for the service we got. He was great.

Rylan never called and was a no-show however there was a mix up on the technician that was supposed to come out to the house. Rylan came out the next day personally to take care of the issue. I really appreciate him making it right and taking my call so late in the evening. I would use his service in the future and plan on buying additional services from him.

The owner/technician were very knowledgable and did not try to cut-corners in regards to safety. We had just moved into our mid-century home and had a laundry list of items to tackle. Rylan was very familiar with the homes in this area and knew exactly how to meet our needs. The existing electric panel was outdated and not up to code. Rylan and his technician worked hard and completed all of our projects within budget. We will definitely call Rylan again for future projects, when needed.

Unfortunately, the electrician couldn't install the chandelier claiming it would go against builing codes. He did, however, provide helpful advice on what could be installed instead.

Rylan is so great! We used him to check out our 1920s home before purchasing it and used him again to make some updates. Dependable and always on time. Will totally use him again.

Our experience with them was great. We had an odd problem. It took him awhile to diagnose, but once he figured it out, he was able to resolve it very quickly. The problem was a canister light in the ceiling. When we turned it on, it would stay on for awhile and then it would go off. Then, if you left it on but did not flip the switch, after awhile it would come off again. It turned out some insulation in the ceiling had shifted somehow, and it was interfering with contact up in there. Once he cleared that away and I think he put in a new part, it worked the way it was supposed to. I think the price was reasonable.

My wooden gate & several outside electrical plugs quit working after I accidentally hit an extension cord with the trimmer. We knew it was electrical, but "fixit" man looked around and couldn't figure out where the problem was as no fuses were blown. A gate dude came and looked at the motor, etc. I called Lakewood Electrical. Mr. Gray, the provider, came over with his little orange meterish thing and after looking at every outlet in the house and garage apartment found a small hidden "box" with the blown fuse and the gate and all the outside outlets were set again. I had anticipated a large fee, the charge was reasonable for the time he spent to find the problem.

Emergency electrical repair after the early December ice storm -- they came to the house less than 24 hours after I called. My "regular" electrical contractor -- with whom we had a service contract and who had done $7,000 worth of work 4 months earlier -- strung us along all weekend and then announced they wouldn't actually be out for another 12 days. Lakewood has earned our gratitude and our future business.

He was on time and did a good job without talking a lot. He was great and I asked him to do something else for me and he got that done as well.

LE was prompt and performed good work. I felt the price for services was higher than average but quality was average. Work was performed as agreed and in a timely manner. Only one call back to address an issue with an outdoor outlet which was also handled quickly.

Haven't had the work done. The estimates so far are too steep.

did a fine job installing the outlets and exhaust fans and made recommendations about placement of outlets and did extra work to make the fans more efficient and functional.

Very thorough and made sure the proper light was bought and installed. Existing light had been discontinued. Too old a model.

Rylan worked fast and fixed the sprinkler system electrical issue, and also provided advice on upgrading lights, fire alarms, and adding a whole home surge protector.

Bought two Bid Deal Coupons at different times and had two different great electrical contractors working on my bath remodel. So, not sure - but either took down fluorescent lights and installed can lights, installed a heater/fan/light in the ceiling and/or replaced an outlet with a GFCI plug.

It was a very good experience. He came and did his work and left on time. He did fine work.

I purchased a big deal from Angie's List. I paid $99 for a two-hour of work. They were very good. They were prompt and they were on time. They did the work. They were very careful. They were very thorough.

A good electrician is hard to find...we were very happy with the work performed, and the quality of advice about the electrical panels on our house.
