The guys showed up at my house without calling ahead of time because they had the wrong number. They also weren't driving their standard truck, so they weren't sure how much "load" they could take from me without charging me more. (I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal that allowed me to fill up one-eighth of their standard truck, but because they weren't driving the standard truck, they weren't able to give me an estimate of how much one-eighth was. They just said, "Whatever you have, we'll take." But if I had given them ALL of my junk, I would have been charged more, obviously. They just couldn't estimate that for me in advance...even though their website says they can and will do that.) They also didn't know I had purchased the Big Deal through Angie's List--just thought this was a standard transaction. And finally, they charged me tax when they were done, which has never happened to me before on a Big Deal. Having said all of that, the guys who came to my house were very courteous, and it's pretty clear to me that the screw-ups that took place weren't their fault. They were doing their best with bad/limited information, a different truck from what they were used to, and faulty instructions.

They showed up early and ready to get after it! They were real quick and completely professional, hauled off everything I needed and then some!

It was just junk hauling...the price was reasonable

We were helping a friend out of state to clean up a rental house where tenants have been evicted. We seperated what couold be donated and what could be picked up. We also arranged for Junk King to pick up the stuff that needed to be hauled off. I ws all against one wall. They looked at it and gave us their estimate. We weren't there when they picked it up but workers let them in. Once we went back we saw they had left a large headboard, The price was a combination of a $99.coupon on Angie's List and add'l 162.98 based on volume at the onsight inspection.

Arrived early. Do care of work to be done. Swept and cleaned once large material was removed. Great job. Will use again in future.

The staff that came to the house was prompt and courteous. They looked at the items to haul and informed me that the load was within the price. They worked quickly and efficiently. I would definitely use them again if I need to get rid of items.

I called Junk King less than 24 hours in advance for an appointment, and they had no problem scheduling one. Overall, it was a seamless and pleasant experience.

I was able to make the appointment at a convenient time. The guys from Junk King called ahead of their arrival time and actually arrived early. They were very courteous and friendly and quickly loaded everything up. They were careful to make sure it was loaded properly for safe driving. I was very happy with the overall experience!

The guys did a great job and were quickly in and out. They had to re-schedule once, but it worked better for me. They give me a start to gift card for rescheduling. Definitely have them back and recommend them.

Service was exceptional! The guys were great. Arrived when they said they would. Gave a clear explanation of what to expect. They were in and out within a half hour! I could not have asked for more! Will definitely use again if the need arises and will recommend without hesitation!

In December, I sold my parents home of 35 years, and had to get the house empty before Christmas. After sorting and packing, I was able to donate 2 full moving vans to Family Place, but still had 8 or 9 large pieces of furniture that were damaged or broken, including torn fabric recliners, broken grandfather clocks, ancient electric organ, 60" tube tv in a wood cabinet, in addition to a 9x12 2 foot deep pile of junk, such as 15 years of broken electronics, 35-40 pieces of damaged and faded garden decor, and more. This in addition to a garage lined on all sides with shelving, outdated tools, junk and such things as a broken trash compactor from the 90's. I hated to send it all the landfill when some was usable, so called DFW Junk King based on their claim of being "green" and scheduled a pick up for Saturday. When the two gentlemen arrived on time, they were dressed professionally and acted the same way, very personable, but apparently the call center failed to understand the size of the job, and they stated they could not handle it that day. Instead I walked them through the project, they took extensive photos, sent them to the owner, estimated two trucks worth (which I found hard to believe, expected more) and came back with a quote that gave me a significant discount over the usual full truck charge, and rescheduled for Wednesday. When the team arrived on Wednesday, the owner, Brett, came in person, to introduce himself and thank me for the business, and brought 5 men to clear the area. I specifically heard the team leader tell his men to load the repurposable and recyclable items in the first truck. They did an astounding job, I left my brother to supervise, but when I went back the next day, that garage looked like no one had ever used it, the paints and hazardous materials were neatly piled in one corner. (which they don't take, and explained to me up front). Everything was out of the house, and you could not really tell it had ever been there. I cannot say enough about the professionalism and dedication of the team I worked with, and would recommend them to anyone for a small or large job. On the first visit, one of the team members boasted to me that it was his mission to fit the most into the least amount of space, and I believe you can take that seriously. Very satisfied with the experience, and will use them again.

We were more than pleased with the work that was performed in a very timely and more than efficient manner! I asked if I could add one more item to the original list and there was no hesitation on their part even when they realized that it was a large stair stepper and had to be brought downstairs!! They rock!!

They were awesome! I was quoted a price over the phone and when they arrived the job was a bit more than they expected, but they were fantastic and only charged an additional $3!! I will definitely use them again and I will be passing on their name to anyone I know that needs similar work done.

I hired Junk King through an Angie's List coupon but would hire them again if I need their services.

They did great. The truck wouldn't fit all the way back to the garage so they had to carry everything the length of the driveway. No complaints or extra charge. The amount of stuff I had was more than the Deal of $75 dollars for one eighth of a truck, but I expected that was probably the case going into the deal. It came out to $40 dollars more, which is really much less than I expected. I will be doing more remodeling in the Spring and will definately be calling them again.

I called on Tuesday to schedule pick up and was given a choice of several appointments. Each appointment had a 2 hour window. I scheduled for Friday. They called 15 minutes before they arrived. They introduced themselves, told me a little about the company, asked if I had any questions. They picked up the sidewalk and that was it. They were very neat, clean, courteous and on time (within the 2 hour window). Will definitely use again if there is a need.

The estimate was reasonable but we decided to do the work ourselves. They were very prompt and very friendly.

The overall experience was excellent.

However, at time of arrival they still wanted to charge me again for the service. I had my receipt and showed them that it was already paid, but still ended up paying a few more bucks for "taxes', that they said were not included with the cost of the promo. There was also some confusion about how much space 1/8 of a truck is. Their service told me that it was 1/8 of a large moving truck, but the two guys that came, said it was 1/8 of a "regular" size truck. BIG DIFFERENCE! Therefore all the items that the service told me could be hauled away, were refused at time of service. They did haul off the washer and dryer, and said as a "courtesy" they said they would take the mattress set. But that still left me items to now haul away myself. I was really ticked off about that because the size mistake was with the appointment scheduling service, not mine and I felt they should have honored what their service had previously ok'd since I told them exactly what I needed hauled away. Though the guys were nice that did the actual hauling, they made need to clarify with their appointment scheduling service exactly what size trucks are being used so they can properly explain the space sizes to the customer. I am not sure at this point, if I will use the service again for that reason.

They gave me a 2 hour window when I scheduled the appointment. The driver called me that morning and left me a voicemail message telling me the approximate time that his GPS said he would arrive at my address and set a great expectation by letting me know that this travel time did not include any traffic delays. They arrived precisely when they said they would in a large professional truck. Two men arrived, both dressed professionally and extremely polite. They looked at my load and gave me a very fair estimate! We agreed and they began removing the junk immediately. They had shovels, a wheel barrow, and came prepared. They worked fast and efficiently. They were also careful and very clean. This is less expensive than getting a dumpster and so much easier than trying to load and unload and figure out where to dump items yourself. I am a Realtor and they worked on my personal home. However, they did such a great job and at such a fair price that I will recommend them to my clients in the future! They also charged my credit card on site. It was a very easy process. This is a very professional business. I sincerely appreciate their sincere desire for referrals.
