+ -1 moreWe recently moved and had several items to get rid of that we no longer had use for ~ rugs, TVs, furniture, boxes, general household goods that had been sitting around too long. They two men did a fantastic job! They were on time, worked quickly, and did a great job cleaning up. Most importantly, they were extremely courteous. I would/will use them again, and I will highly recommend them. I'm so glad we used Junk King.

+ -1 moreThe crew arrived on time and even offered to come earlier. The crew was very polite and professional. I did not have any concept of "how much" they would really haul and it was more of a guess. They do not haul certain things, so please review the list. This was important to me, but I should have read the details more. I didn't have anything big, other than a gas grill, so I would say the value and service is average.

The people who came to haul the junk, tried to make a deal with me in the side, which I didn't like. I thought that was very unprofessional.

+ 1 moreThey showed up promptly. Discussed what was to be done and negociated the price. Made room for all the items(quiet a chore) and cleaned up after. Pleasure doing business with them so much so that I've used them twice in a months time.
Description of Work: They hauled away a Mount Everest of junk and donated those things that were useable to the appropriate charities. Hard workers. Good sense of humor. Nice folks. They'll work with you on the cost too. Great experience. Thanks guys.

+ 1 moreThe crew came on time and were extremely professional. They quickly gave us an estimate based on the amount of "junk" we had and promptly went to work on removing it. They told me that all they needed me to do was point out to them what we wanted gone! They came and were gone in approximately 20 minutes! It was an amazingly easy process and FAR MORE affordable than we had thought it would be. Now we have a tidy garage again. We will ABSOLUTELY use Junk King again when we find ourselves needing to get rid of "junk!"

Description of Work: I give this company an A+ from the timely manner they got to the house, to the time they left. I couldn't have asked for a more professional, hard-working crew of three that came to haul a lot of junk from my mother's house. Previously we had an estate sale and needed to get the rest of the things removed because we were selling the house. I was so pleased with the work they did. They hauled off everything and left the house in perfect order. They all worked so hard and got the job done in a short amount of time (and there was a lot to remove). Anyway, I highly recommend this company to anyone that wants a professional crew to come in and do just what I had them do. It is a "green" company so they recycle what they can, donate what is still viable for use, etc. Thanks so much, Junk King!!

+ -1 moreThey did a great job. Please note that the initial order is apparently taken at some central corporate office for the state or US and the work is routed to the local vendors. The scheduling service who answered the phone was not the best. As has been noted in other reviews, the vendor must (probably depending on the state) charge sales tax that is not included in the coupon. I specifically asked about it when I placed the order and was assured that there were no additional charges. When the local vendor called to confirm they verified that tax did have to be added. The local vendor who did my work was outstanding and I would definitely recommend them. Too bad the main office - which is probably the franchisor who sells the franchises - is the weak link in the process.

+ 1 moreI got an appointment for pickup very quickly. My coupon was about to expire and they gave me a pickup appointment the Saturday following my call. They called about 30 minutes before coming so I was prepared for them and they arrived on time and worked quickly and efficiently.
Description of Work: They hauled off lots of trash from my garage/attic. Large upright freezer, large wooden storage box, 52" rear-projection tv set, several boxes of obsolete and dry-rotted camping equipment; plus several boxes of no longer needed items from attic. They filled a pickup-sized truck.

+ -1 moreThey arrived on time, and did all of the work. There was an oven that I wanted taken but they couldn't disconnect it (I didn't realize it was hard-wired in before they pulled it out.). He gave me a rain-check on the rest of the space that I had purchased and are going to come BACK to get the oven once it is disconnected. Way above and beyond what was strictly required.

+ -1 moreNice people and fair price but unorganized. I called and told them some of the items I had and that I could meet someone at 10AM one day. I was told someone would come by with a truck and if the price was acceptable, they would haul the stuff off. I got a voice mail early on the morning of the appointment saying they would be at the site at 9:30AM as requested and if there was a problem to call back on a number they left. When I called back, I got a message saying that number was not available. When I got to the site, they were fortunately still there. However, they said they had the wrong kind of truck for what I had, even though I explained in my first call what I had. A second trip was necessary, but that went without a hitch.
Description of Work: Loaded and hauled off some junk.
