so after a period spanning 4 months requiring multiple texts and phone calls dealing with her mother , the project then changed hands to her..we then set an appointment for me to pick up the light fixture that she wanted painted and installed with another light fixture for the agreed upon price of $200.00. I really doubt that she had someone was going to do all this for 125.00.?? so as to her problem with accusing me of lying about being to busy that i couldn't get to it is also false !! yes I did go on vacation but while doing so all 5 of my employees were diligently working 50 hr weeks to complete weeks of work that is always backlogged !! I still stayed in contact with my crew the entire time i was on vacation !! so in the end we made an appointment for me to pick up the light to get painted I showed up ON TIME rang the bell repeatedly then called her with no answer and left a message, then sent her a text waited 10 minutes for a response before leaving..!! She then calls me several days later and asks if I will come back and pick up the light I asked her about the missed appointment and she informs me that she was home but just didn't feel like coming to the door ..[ REALLY !! ] I then informed her that there would be a 50.00 charge for the missed appointment, that was when she started into a profanity laced rant !!.. at that point I politely informed her that I may not be the best person for this project and that she should find another handyman. IE i didn't want to work with her, so that is what lead to her inaccurate and defamatory rant posted above. and as thousands of satisfied customers know my crew and myself always strive for nothing but the best quality work in a timely matter, the regulars also know to book early as we are almost always booked 3 or more weeks in advance due to the quality work they know they will receive. they usually don't even ask how much just when !!
