Went great. They weren't the cheapest bid but based on their reputation opted for them. Steve came out and measured the windows and provided a quote that we obviously went with. Due to our scheduling issues we had to push him back two maybe three times. And it wasn't a problem - was pleasant and polite despite getting bumped at least twice - always our fault. when we managed to straighten out our schedules, he arrived promptly, worked quickly and did a fantastic job. Would easily recommend them.

They are wonderful. It was fabulous. It's a wonderfully run company. The owner treats his employees with respect. It's a great company. I think their prices are good. I think so much of the company that even if their prices were a little higher, I would still pay and do business with them. It's one of those companies you want to do business with. I have had no issues with them.

Even though it started snowing on the scheduled date of installation, the workers kept working and finished the job as scheduled. It was as good an experience as I've ever had with any type of construction work. Even though our house is 40 years old, and had settled in places, the job looks great and extra time was spent making sure that everything was sealed properly.

The job went really well. They provided the right service. The quality of their work was pretty good too.

This was our second set of windows replaced by J&M Glass. (I have an earlier report from March 2010 on Angie's List.) We had 14 windows replaced in March of 2010 and decided to wait to have the remaining 14 done (J&M Glass honored the prices quoted in 2010) until the new year. Had we known how great the replacement windows would be, I doubt we would have waited so long. The windows this time were the east and south facing ones, where we have used solar screens for years to keep down the heat. Judy of J&M told us we wouldn't need solar screens anymore, but I wasn't sure I believed her...but I do now! Sadly for me waiting at home and the workers, the scheduled work days happened in one of the colder periods of the winter (they had to postpone one work day because they could not work when it was below freezing!), but the workmen were kind enough to work one room at a time to minimize the cold air coming in. The work was completed in 2 days (they had estimated 2 1/2.) When the job was complete, the head workman pointed out to us a couple of places where the mortar on the bricks around the windows had been damaged by removing the windows, which we would not have noticed if he had not told us, and said they would come back to repair it, but we chose to have a mason come in since we had other spots to have fixed. I am a huge fan of J&M Glass for these reasons: 1. Their professionalism - the detailed bid, Judy's patience in explaining all the choices and helping us decide, and the skill, punctuality and courtesy of the installers. 2. Their prices - Not only was their initial pricing lower than the other bid we got, but we were given a 10% discount for paying cash. I also greatly appreciated Judy honoring the initial bid prices. 3. Their product - the windows are terrific. We certainly gave the first set a test this past winter with the long spell of freezing temps - incredible to be able to get close and not feel the cold air leaching in. Now with the second set, we are seeing how much they block the sun/heat coming in in our two front bedrooms. We have been able to set the thermostat at a higher level this summer than ever in the past. Great company - people and products!

The owner of the company actually came out and gave an estimate, he was very professional and answered all my questions. We decided to go with them and a few days later someone came and did a measurement on the inside he said that someone would be calling to setup the installation time. I never received a call and had to call in myself I spoke with the lady at the company (i cant remember her name) and we agreed on a date. I took the Firday off work and then the week of the installation i get a VM from the comapny (different lady) to call. I called and she said that they need to come out and do the final measurement for m install the following week. I was shocked as they were supposed to have come that Friday, (They mis-wrote my date)Anyways she said that no one needed to be home for this measruement, good thing i was cause they came the guy told me that they needed to measure the insde (I was very frustrated at this point and apprehensive of the coming work) The day came for the installation, the crew showed up right on time and went to work. These guys were outstanding. There was no quit or slowing down. Some of the hardest working guys i've seen, the only break they took was for lunch. The end result was perfect windows, they vaccummed up all the debris, caulked all the cracks and went through with me to each window and showed me what they had done and i was ok with the work. Overall I highly recommend this company for window installations, they look great and no more drafts or leaks, The only comment i would have is to make sure when talking to the scheduler that the dates are concrete and you know when the installer are coming.

The complete process was a great experience and we couldn't be happier with the results. We found J&M Glass Company on Angie's List, originally called them in April 2010 to get a quote and Martin (owner) came out within a few days. He measured the windows and doors, punched in the measurements into his laptop and then printed off a quote right away! We ended up waiting until October to order the windows, and J&M honored the price they quoted in April. After we placed the order it took them two weeks to manufacture the windows in their Dallas facility and then installed them in 4 days. The installers explained which windows they expected to complete each day they were there and what time they planned on arriving and leaving each day. The crew was professional and courteous, they covered furniture with drop clothes and took down window treatments, replacing them as they finished. Excellent company, with professional employees and a great product. I would not hestiate to use them again!

I couldn't be happier with my new windows. I can see through my windows! No more grime stuck between the panes. And they were installed just in time for the recent major winter storm. They did not require any payment until completion and there was a discount for paying in cash rather than credit card. The price was right - I believe they manufacture their own windows and I can't tell the difference between them and the "name brand" windows offered by other companies. I enjoyed working with Martin as well as the installation crew and I would highly recommend this company.

This was an excellent experience from start to finish. We had originally looked at their display LAST year at the State Fair. Then this year, again at the fair, we spoke with Martin (the owner) about their products and service and agreed to get an estimate. His wife Judy came out a few days later to measure and provide the estimate. She was very thorough, and after measuring, she plugged all the info into her laptop and printed out an incredibly detailed estimate, which gave us the price for every single window, our quantity discount, our State Fair discount, and the cost for installation. Very complete and impressive. After signing the estimate and faxing it back to their office, we received a call to schedule our installation, which was scheduled 3 weeks later for a duration of 5 days. During the wait time, all our windows were manufactured in their Dallas facility. Diego and Will did our installation. Diego explained which windows he expected to complete each day of the week, what time they expected to arrive each day, what time they expected to leave each day, and answered any questions I had for him. Both men were EXTREMELY polite and professional, taking great care when removing and replacing window treatments, covering our furniture and belonging with drop cloths, wiping their feet when coming into the house, cleaning up after themselves and overall, I was just extremely impressed with both of them. I couldn't have asked for anyone better to come and do this big job. Today is the final day of installation and we're very happy with the results. The windows are beautiful, well-made and were installed with great care and accuracy. Granted, the windows are a little pricey, but I think the quality of the windows plus the excellent installation experience more than compensates for the higher cost. Now I'm looking forward to the coming year to see how much of a difference we'll see in our heating and cooling bills! Thanks J&M Glass, you are highly recommended!

All appointments were on time, salesman Curtis Evans was professional,very helpful and so was the J&M staff. While we did not use them, our choice was based on a very specific style perferrence, they did not carry in their product line, otherwise we would have used them. Highly recommend using J& M Glass Company.

The owner of the company came by the house to show me his product. They build and install their own windows. He is a very nice guy and seemed to be very honest. He did not prove me wrong (thankfully). I had to wait a bit too long for the windows and they were rather expensive, but they seem to be of very good quality. The installation was a mess. I am still cleaning the dust they left all over the house. The installers claim they tried to keep the dust from getting into the house, but their technique needs refinement. I could tell they could have done a better job of keeping the dust and debris from entering the house and they could have cleaned after themselves (particularly at this price). Had it not been for the long wait and the dust at this price, I would have given them an A.

We set up two appointments to get bids on the windows. J&M Glass called me to make the appointment within 2 hours of my email request and came to the house within the week. Judy Gates was the representative who explained what we were looking at and did the bid. Unlike the other business who just showed us a total cost - like we were buying a used car - Judy produced a detailed bid listing each window by size, whether it was fixed or hung, tempered or not, and the price per unit; plus labor and sales tax, and the quantity discount - in other words, the TOTAL cost of the project. She even did multiple bids for different number of windows to be done. Another choice we needed to make was for opaque glass for bathroom windows and two front entry panels, and this company had 7 or 8 different styles to choose from (the other company only had 1.) In the end, we choose their windows because of the professionalism of the bid, the choices for the opaque glass and of course the price! Did I say that they were about $600 cheaper than the other company BEFORE they offered us a discount for cash? They scheduled our job about 3 weeks after we signed the contract. We added more windows to the order TWICE after the contract was signed and they were fine with that. The crew that did the job were polite, quick, and apparently good at what they did, according to my husband who watched them work the first day. I stayed home the second day and just let them alone; they did fine without my help! Everything was cleaned up and removed at the end of each day. The windows are great - today's cold snap gave me a chance to see how much better they are at blocking cold air than the old ones. We will have the other windows done next year by J&M Glass for sure.

They were excellent, gave us a good price and did exactly what they said they were going to do. They also cleaned up after themselves and the product was terrific. We are very happy with them. Their price was also good and I would use them again in future.

There were eight windows. I would recommend them based on the quality of their work and price. They're really good. They will give you a great presentation and won t sell you anything you don't need.

It's not the owner that I didnt like, it's the salesman that I had a problem with. He told me that the cost was going to be 400 dollars cheaper than the place that I was going to go with and then he called me back the next day that and said he could not honor the cost and was just dishonest with the price.

They arrived a few minutes early (a little before 930 am) and finished by 245pm. They did not break for lunch or take any breaks that I could see. This company uses their own employees to install (no outside contractors) so I felt more comfortable with the installers knowing they had a long history with their company. And this company manufactures their own windows locally so this made a difference in my decision. They cleaned up after themselves and looked over their work several times before they left to make sure they had not forgotten anything. I would hire them again.

COMPLETE INFO GIVEN PRIOR TO PURCHASE. INSTALLERS ON TIME, EFFICIENT, CLEANED UP AFTER WORK AND DID EXCELLENT JOB OF TOTAL INSTALLATION. WORKED EFFICIENTLY AND DID QUALITY JOB.
