The painters were very professional. They arrived on time in the morning and worked all day with a short break for lunch. They put down paper to protect the floors and used blue tape to keep paint colors apart. They removed a very large wall mirror for painting and they took down my Elfa desk and bookshelves and both were re-hung and placed when finished. I removed all breakable items from shelves, etc. and they took care of all the rest. Furniture and other items were replaced when painting was complete. The lead painter spoke English and kept me informed--I was living in the house, so they had my master bedroom done quickly so I had use of it for sleeping the same day they painted. They even raised the mattress in the master bedroom so I could change the dust skirt on the bed. They were so helpful and were eager to make sure I was happy with the process and the result. I am very pleased! Dan came by at least once a day and purchased supplies and paint as needed by his team. He offered to come by for any touch ups after my furniture was placed and I'd had a chance to hang pictures (other than the ones the painters re-hung for me.

I was really pleased with the service level as well as the quality of the work. Dan was great to work with. He was always on time and communicated throughout the job. The painting crew did a great job and were very nice to deal with. I felt they went above and beyond what I contracted them to do. They cleaned up well after the job was finished and the place looks great! I would definitely use them again.

I really want to take this chance to express our THANKS to Dan Keenan Paint Company. This is a wonderful / happy experience to work with this company. Dan showed up on time to quote the price, and he gave us the most reasonable price in town. And from his patient and his details of plan for painting and repairing, we immediately decided to hire them. The office manager Julie took care of the official contract and managing the service dates; we are happy with her too. Richard took care of job site initiation, and Richard is so professional and patient. To match the paint we wanted, he went to the paint store 3 times, and finally he got back with the exact paint color we liked. He also detailed instructed the painters to repair and paint. They used high quality paint, which is thick, covered well and no chemical smell (brand: Sherwin Williams). The painters (Daryl and two other painters) all worked for Dan for many years, and all got experiences. They are in uniform, dress clean and all have good working manner; and they painted carefully, and did their best to protect our wall, floors, and plants. They clean up so well after they done. And they put back all our patio furniture back to the places without any damages. We are happy for the final results: beautiful painting job. Dan came to the job site to check on the painting quality, and pointed out the minor corrections for the painters, and later they did good job to correct all of them. Also one point I need to highlight out, is this company is the best contractor we ever hired based on their honesty! They repaired wood work for us by considering if it is necessary; and later they credit back the portion based on the actual repairs done and not based on the quoted price. I even did not ask for this refund, but they did this in the honest way. We felt very comfortable to work with them in this whole process. Good people, good company, good quality of work! We strongly recommend this company. We hope we will still have the good luck like we had this time with Dan Company for our future house projects. We will definitely use this company again.

Everything about the quote process was excellent. They came on time and they were professional on how they dealt with everything. We decided to go with them because their price was lower than the other company that came out. In fact, they are staring the work either on Wednesday or Thursday.

This house had been empty for quite a few years and was in desperate need of fresh paint. Due to budget constraints we could only do the walls because there was repair that was needed from water damage. Dan was quite attentive on the job and his crew was awesome. They always cleaned up and asked questions if they weren't sure what I really wanted. Imagine that! The house looks great! Thanks Dan and crew!

I just can't say enough good things about Richard, Dan, and the whole crew who worked on my house. It was a big job requiring a range of disciplines, considering all the drywall work involved. Prep for the paint job took a week in itself, so it was no quick work, but the whole crew just steadily chipped away at it until it was done. I really appreciated the calculated, patient approach, particularly since I work from home and was not up for a lot of chaos. The painters on my job all seemed to have been with the company for quite some time, so no concerns about experience. They were technically proficient and did a great job on everything we asked for, including having the sense to ask questions if something was unclear. They were quiet, careful, and tidy and were even really sweet to my dogs and careful with them since one likes to sneak out the front door. Beyond the day to day work, the overall focus on customer service was absolutely exceptional. Richard, in particular, has gone above and beyond to make sure we're happy with the work. They were very reasonable when there were changes mid-stream that increase the cost a bit. I never had to wonder when or if someone was showing up or what would be happening each day. Richard was extremely communicative about everything going on, which I really appreciated, and he actually DID every single thing he said he would WHEN he said he would. If you've hired a lot of contractors, you know what a marvel that is. I could go on and on but I honestly can't imagine how anybody could have any regrets about hiring Dan Keenan Paint Co. I recommend them without a shred of reservation.

Work was performed very well with a minimum of inconvenience and mess. Very satisfied with the results.

This company provided excellent service. From the very first call, I was treated professionally. Dan came over to check out the job the day I called. He provided me with a written estimate within 24 hours. After accepting his bid, the job was scheduled. Dan and his team showed up promptly and the work was finished in one day. The painter was very careful with my furniture and wood floors, and the room was left spotless when they finished. From Julie in the office to the owner, Dan, everyone was easy to work with, efficient and professional. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking for a conscientious painter - regardless the size of the job.

Dan showed up at the appointed time, bid and then returned with his crew to paint at the appointed time. I've used many painters over the years, but his crew was fabulous. They came when they said they would, did a great job, cleaned up after they left, and I would definitely have them do more painting with them as I need it.

Dan was prompt in visiting and estimating the job. He and his painters showed up when scheduled and they finished the job before they had estimated they would. Everything went smoothly. The only minor complaint is that they bought a couple of gallons more paint than they needed.

Their walk-through was very thorough, asking many specific questions so they could provide an accurate estimate, and bring up things I may not have thought of. Once the estimate was agreed upon, we set a date, and they started when expected. I was contacted by someone every day of the job, sometimes more than once. They gave me updates and asked any and all questions they needed answered to make sure they did the job the way I wanted it done. I made some audibles during the job, and they changed with them without issue. Even though some of my carpet is in bad shape, they covered all of the floors to make sure they didn't leave a mess. The quality of the end product was very good. Overall, I was very pleased with them.

Richard came by at a time that was convenient for me and spent about an hour discussing different paint options. I haven't decided what to do yet, but Richard was very nice and professional and had a lot of ideas that I had not considered. I would definitely call them back.

Once again, Angie's List provided a winner! This entire experience was stress free from start to finish. Within an hour of my initial call, I received a call from Richard Deatherage to arrange for an estimate. From that moment on, every call & every appt. was met within a minute of the promised time. We had removed wallpaper & popcorn ceilings from two bathrooms & one bedroom ceiling. We wanted these areas to be textured and prepared to paint(by us) at a later date. Mr. Deatherage explained in detail the process necessary to complete this task. By the next day, we had the estimate and within a couple of days, we had signed the contract. The contract detailed the scope of work exactly as explained by Mr. Deatherage. The two man crew arrived promptly on 10-30-12. They arrived each morning at the promised time. They worked tirelessly for 8-9 hours each day. They cleaned up everyday - not one single thing in our house was touched. Every morning, we were visited by Mr. Deatherage or Mr. Keenan to check on progress and to provide any necessary supplies. They both supplied their cellphone #'s in case we needed anything. Four days from the start, on 11-2-12, the job was done. Dan Keenan came by on the last day and helped with the final cleanup. If you are looking for a company that does quality work and truly values customer satisfaction, Dan Keenan Paint Company is highly recommended. You'll be impressed!

The job was to paint three walls and the ceiling in a child's bedroom. When called to provide an estimate, they were prompt. They arrived on time and asked a lot of questios about what we wanted done - types of paints, etc, so they could give us the very best estimate. Since Richard estimated that they would need multiple costs to cover up the ugly color left by the previous owners, he said they could do another small area in the house for no charge, if I already had the paint, since they would need to wait for the first coat to dry. When they came to do the job, they were also extremely prompt, and very careful. We had brand new carpet, and the hallway to the job is hardwood. There was not a drop of paint ANYWHERE when they were done, and their clean-up was excellent. They also worked very quietly, which was important to me as I was working at home that day.Finally, they did an excellent job touching up in the kitchen, which they did for no extra charge, as Richard mentioned above, because I already had the paint. Their price was not the lowest, but I believe that they turned out to be very good value, and I would use them again.

Dan Keenan Paint Co did a wonderful job on our home from start to finish, and we'll be turning to them for our paint work in the future. We received three bids for this job - all companies recommended on Angie's List - and all were within just a few hundred dollars of each other. Richard with Keenan led our project; he clearly knows paint and wood. He quickly provided a detailed estimate and stayed in touch throughout the process, from lining up start dates to daily check-ins during painting. He spent a lot of time offering advice - on shutters, trim colors, etc - and explaining potential wood issues to my husband and me. We had an issue come up inside our home on an unrelated repair project, and he had great advice (it turned out not to be a big deal to fix, as he'd predicted). The crew worked very hard during one of the hottest weeks of the year. They left their work site clean every day. They also accommodated our long work hours to paint the doors. And our house looks wonderful - truly better than it has in years. Thank you, Richard and crew!

Can't say enough, very friendly painters (2 people) who did a very good job. They were always on time, very courteous, covered everything and finished in the time estimated. Our best experience of having interior painting done while still living in the house.

We found Dan Keenan Paint on Angie's List, liked the reviews, noted that they were near our home, and called to ask for an extimate. Mr. Keenan came to look at the areas in our home and garage that needed to be repaired and painted. He prepared two separate estimates, one for the house and one for the garage, as the repair to the garage roof had not been completed at the time and we thought we might need to move forward with the house. However, the garage roof was soon repaired, so we had the work done back-to-back. He and his crew started each day promptly, did a great job, took care to cover floors and furniture in the rooms in the house, and were equally careful in the garage. They cleaned up each day and did a detailed clean-up when the job was completed. Mr. Keenan provided oversight of the entire process, coming at least two to three times each day to see the progress, bring paint or additional supplies, and generally ensure that we were satisfied with the work being done. We appreciated their quality workmanship. They were very professional, courteous, and thorough, and we would not hesitate to have them back again or refer them to friends. When we sell the house, we will give the buyer's Mr. Keenan's card, with our recommendation, in case they want to repaint some of the rooms with color (we kept things pretty plain vanilla). Great job!

The paint work was very good. They gave attention to all the small details and made sure that I was 100 percent satisfied.

My experience with Dan Keenan Paint, Co. was exceptional. They were prompt in contacting upon initial inquiry, and then came out to the house at a time convenient for me. A typed quoted followed shortly, and it took me some time to get back to them. In the interim, they did not pester me or chase me with constant follow up. Rather, I was given the space I needed to make some choices and come to a decision. On contacting the company back, Richard and Julie were very responsive and found a time within the week to begin the project. The job was started and finished within two days. My front door developed a few bubbles, but Richard came back out almost immediately and corrected the door. The house looks so good now and I had no clean up to do at all. The company took care of everything.

I would hire Dan Keenan Paint again in a second. And I would highly recommend them to all fellow Angie's list patrons. We are moving into a 6 year old multi-million dollar home that needed some paint and trim work...we needed everything done before the movers arrive and our time line was extremely tight. I called, they came the next day and did a bid (which was very competitive)...I told them my time line and they said "no problem"...then, my time line changed, I called them back and they made they made the adjustment right then. They showed up exactly on time. Their pre-paint prep work was the best I've seen. They matched existing paint perfectly. The bedroom painting was perfect. The stain on the outside trim was perfect...and their clean-up was better than the cleaning crew we had hired to clean the entire house before move in!!! Also, as they began their work I notice an additional wall in the home that needed paint...I ask them how much additional it would be and they did it for just a few extra dollars...and had it completed that same day. From start to finish these guys were excellent!

Dan Keenen came to my house to check on what I wanted to be done and when I received his estimate we arranged tor a day and time. Everything was started on time and finished as promised. He has done work for me in the past and I was very satisfied then which is why I used him again and will in the future when necessary.

Immediate response. Company rep Richard was excellent--completely described services as requested. The painters were professional. Excellent clean up (daily) and service. All work was well completed as per the contract--and . the work was completed in the time frame as agreed. Remember that when 'popcorn' ceilings must be scraped--texture removed--there is a lot of dust and the painters controlled the dust well; better than when we did this work ourselves in other rooms! (still a lot of 'dusting in the house post this work--but this was expected--and, again, less than we did the other rooms ourselves).

Excellent Job from start to finish - Richard was accomodating and professional. The Painters were courteous and efficiient. The house looks wonderful!

Overall an excellent experience. Richard and the paint crew were prompt and professional throughout the job. The main reason for hiring painters rather than completing the job myself was the extensive prep work required prior to painting; numerous nail holes, cracks in walls and ceilings, peeling paint on woodwork, etc. The crew spent at least a day just prepping the space and I could not be more pleased with the results. Moreover, I had spent months agonizing over the right paint color for the living room, dining room and hallway, painting swatches all over the walls. Richard was able to discern the look I wanted, he suggested a few colors, and within minutes I had selected what turned out to be the perfect color! I plan to have Dan Keenan Paint Co. back soon to paint the remainder of my house.

Arrived on time each day. Nice and professional team. Took care of furniture and new wood floors. Finished on time and on estimate. Would use again for sure.
