+ -1 moreExcellent. I requested service over the phone. I was given an appointment within a couple of days and the workman showed up on time and was very professional and pleasant. He listened carefully to what I said and correctly determined the cause and made the proper repairs. He worked steadily and finished within 90 minutes. I was charged $155 for labor and the rest of the bill was parts (two valves).
Description of Work: Resealed drain under wet bar to stop a leak, took out a needle valve under kitchen sink and replaced it with a T valve, installed a check valve on hot water circulation system. The job took 90 minutes. The last two items were of particular note. Two other plumbers said that the reason for the poor cold water pressure at the kitchen sink was the fixture and it should be replaced. Warren from Dallas plumbing identified the cause as a crimped needle valve - and he was right. After hearing me describe the challenge of adjusting the water temp in our master shower each morning, Warren checked the hot water heater set-up and identified that a check valve was necessary. He was right again and the outcome was an unexpected fix of something that was installed wrong when the house was built 7 years ago. The situation is much better now.

Description of Work: Dallas Plumbing cut and capped a supply line to one of our bathrooms in preparation for the house to be lifted and leveled. They also came back out to reconnect it when the leveling was finished.

Their bid was higher, and they could not get to it until Friday (it was Monday). Mind you it was leaking into the house as I was on the phone with them. My general experience with this company is that the office staff is short and can be quite rude, but generally the plumbers themselves are professional. Office staff is not! Too bad because they set the tone for the whole experience with the company.
Description of Work: I needed a 19 year old leaking water heater replaced asap.

But we did not want to take the chance of cracking the new toilet, so we succumbed. Joshua and John were on time and very professional. They wore shoe coverings in the house. Joshua explained the work and pointed out problems with our plumbing by the builder. They worked quickly and cleaned up the area well. Good job, but pricey.
Description of Work: Replaced an older toilet with a high end Toto toilet purchased at their Kitchen and Bath showroom ($327.00.) Removed and disposed of old toilet. Installed a new one piece toilet.

+ -1 moreTHE WORK PERFORMED WAS FINE. DEALING WITH THE OFFICE IS ANOTHER MATTER. THEY SAID THE PLUMBER WOULD ARRIVE BETWEEN 8-8:30AM. THE PLUMBER DID NOT SHOW UP UNTIL 11:30. THE OFFICE CLAIMED THEY TOLD ME AT THE TIME OF THE APPOINTMENT THAT HE WOULD BE DELAYED WORKING ON ANOTHER JOB. THAT SIMPLY WAS NOT TRUE. ONCE THE PLUMBER ARRIVED AND WAS ABOUT AN HOUR INTO A 6 HOUR JOB, HE LEFT CITING AN EMERGENCY. HOWEVER, HE DID RETURN ABOUT AN HOUR LATER AND FINISHED THE JOB. THE HVAC GUY WAS A NO-SHOW. THE OFFICE SAID HE WAS ILL SO THEY RESCHEDULED FOR ANOTHER DAY. THEY DO NOT HAVE OTHER AVAILABLE PERSONNEL TO COVER SCHEDULED JOBS. THE SERVICE TECHNICIANS THEMSELVES WERE POLITE AND VERY QUALIFIED TO DO THE WORK. A LITTLE MESSY, BUT THATS NOT UNUSUAL FOR THAT MUCH PLUMBING WORK. THEIR PRICING WAS REASONABLE.
