Description of Work: "I purchased a big deal for Dallas Plumbing and A/C to perform annual checkup on both my furnace and A/C unit. Both techs were great. They arrived on time and were very professional with the work they performed. No discussion of up selling. Just did the work needed and moved on. I will definitely use them again.

Description of Work: I paid for the Silver Star service. When the technician performed the service he told me my HVAC condenser coil was too dirty to clean and that I needed a completely new HVAC system. They gave me a quote for a new system. However, this is not what I purchased. When I called and spoke to the manager he told me he was going to go look at it himself and get back to me. I never heard from him. I called a second company to come and inspect my HVAC system. That company had no problem cleaning my condenser coil and my HVAC system is now working great. I had high expectations from this company because they are so well respected on Angie's List, but I did not receive the same level of treatment as others on this site.

Description of Work: Had some knocking in wall from pipes when shutting the water off. Also had some rocking commodes. Plumbing company sent someone out the same day. He was very courteous and professional. We discussed whether the knocking would lead to a problem and what it would take to relieve it. After talking with him, decided not to pursue further. He also helped me with some rocking with my commodes and explained that this was pretty common on tile floors. He shimmed the commodes and then showed me how I could further firm them up easily, and without him having to do it and charge me for it. I was very satisfied with the way he consulted and advised rather than just jumping right in and charging me for something I did not really need.

Description of Work: I reached out to Dallas Plumbing to help me identify a water leak in my townhome. Mark S was the technician and did an incredible job. He knew I was out of my element and could have really taken advantage of the situation. However, he not only spent time trying to figure out what was causing the leak but, he also recommended I contact the Builder first to determine if they were responsible. He talked me through how to handle my conversation with them to make sure they assumed responsibility if indeed it was their issue. Builder Contractor came by, called their plumber and determined it was indeed their issue (nail in water line). Mark S helped me save over $3500. Thank you Mark!! As a result, I am signing up for their annual service plan.
