Chris Roberts Concrete

Took a bit to get scheduled but quality of work was great. I have already recommended him to several of my neighbors.

I was very happy with the entire experience with Chris. He was prompt to respond to my initial inquiry. We set time for him to visit the site. Chris also was prompt to text with any updates. When we had the estimate and the work complete, there was a fair amount of rainy days so things had to move a few times. Chris would text promptly and we rescheduled. I was never left wondering if he would show up. The work looks great. The pad included a small curb due to the slope and we also needed to account for my yard's natural drainage. All of that was taken into account and the end product is exactly what I wanted. They also had to move a few sprinkler heads. Site clean up was also great. Nothing was left behind and everything was back in place.

Chris came right out when I requested an estimate. Took a little bit to get it scheduled. After agreeing on a date, his guys dug out the area, installed the forms, and poured/finished the slab in one day. It took about 2 yards of cement. They pulled the forms the next day. I'm very satisfied with the completed results.

We had a sewer pipe break under our driveway and believed that the fact that the concrete had sunk five inches had been the cause. Compounding matters was the fact that my wife had just had surgery and was non-weight bearing on her legs, so being without plumbing was not good. We contacted Chris to demolish and pour the bottom of our driveway. His crew demoed the concrete and hauled it away and he sent a crew out to attempt to dig the pipe out. After several hours they hadn't found it and so he suggested to call the plumber back out to locate it as not to waste money digging blindly. That was done, and after several more days the city came out and repaired the pipe and filled the dirt back in. Chris' crew came out and laid the concrete and did a fantastic job. He was fantastic with his flexibility taking the scheduling of other contractors and weather into account while still getting the job done quickly, on budget and with superior quality. He was in constant communication with me to make sure that he got out here as soon as the other people took care of their end. His crew cleaned up after the job was done and didn't leave materials lying about which is a rarity with people I've had work at my house and is greatly appreciated. This was a nightmare because of the circumstances, but it could have been exponentially worse had it not been for Chris. Overall I would recommend them to anyone needing concrete work done. My wife and I are extremely pleased.

Chris repaired a large crack between concrete stops and front porch. Looks great and has held up to the winter season. Very happy with work.

Service was not performed. Called to get an estimate. He said he would swing by sometime that week and look at it. I never heard from him. He forgot when I had called again. I understand these things happen, so I asked to reschedule. He said he could come out that day (Saturday), and I said great because I would be home to talk to him about it. He called a few times to say he was running late but on his way. Never showed up. I called again, and he came out to look at it while I was at work. Called me and asked what I wanted to do with it. I said I don't know - it needs fixed - you tell me what I need to do with it. I never heard from him or got an estimate. I found another concrete place that gave a good estimate, so I am going with them instead.

It took a couple of days to get a response, but he gave me a reasonable price, came out two days later and it was done in a day. Couldn't be happier.

Chris gave me a fair price, provided quick service, had good workers, and refilled the ares with clean dirt. His workers were fast, clean, and very careful with my property. They broke it out without jackhammers so there was no dust. Hauled off the old broken concrete. Brought over clean fill dirt from another job site. Chris even said he'd bring more dirt since the first load only filled about 90-95% of the area. Awesome contractor. Thanks!

To begin with I had a difficult time finding someone who would take a small job like this one Chris accepted the job and he and his crew arrived at my home at exactly the time he said they would. They did and excellent job, took 8 hours and I am extremely please and appreciative. I had planned on using the dirt they removed to level the back portion of my yard and I ask Chris to just put in a pile to the side. Well his crew didn't put in a pile they actually used the dirt to level the back portion of my yard, saving me from having to do it..

Chris was awesome. He was very responsive and nice. We weren't able to be home during the work and he texted pictures throughout the whole process. I would definitely recommend him again, especially since his quote was much less than everyone else we met with.

Contractor/owner walked down me property with me. I explained all of the details on what was needed. The contractor stated that he would be back to measure the areas where the work would be performed. The contractor did not come back, I did not receive a phone call and I did not receive a quotation.

There are no details as we did not use the services at this time.

It went great, we contacted him and he responded the same day, his bid was a thousand dollars less than the other bid and he did what he said on time, no problems. His workers were professional as well in putting in a side driveway in addition to the existing one by the garage approximately 10'X25' concrete pad next to my garage driveway with stainless steel eye bolts in the concrete and an additional small concrete pad to connect the side walk ways and the new driveway. They did a great job, it was done within a week of contacting him, we would not hesitate in recommending him and his crew.

Great in returning calls and working with our schedule. He was not pleased with the results and redid the work within one week. Very fair price!

I received bids from four people for this job. While there was one bid that was $250 less than Chris' bid, I liked Chris and felt more confident using him. He brought a crew of perhaps nine guys and they got the job done surprisingly quickly. Another man came by with a big truck and a bobcat a few days later and hauled away all the broken concrete leaving me with a clean job site. I'm very pleased with the work Chris and his crew did as well as the price I paid him.

The work was done very professionally. Chris's workers also moved an existing building to put in the pad. I would high recommend Chris Robert's Concrete.

Called and spoke to the owner Chris and asked him about my project. He had a price back to me in about 10 minutes. Scheduled the job about one week later. Chris called the day before arrival and told me that his lead man Antonio would be showing up at 8am to perform the job. Antonio and his helper showed up right on time and got to work. They finished the job around 2pm the same day and made sure that I was happy with the work before leaving. This was my 1st need for any concrete work and it went better than I expected. Chris will answered any questions or concerns that I had and fully explained the process to where I was comfortable. Would definitely use them again!

That went well. He did a good job in coming out and looked at things. He gave me a good quote. He was on sight during the work.

The walkway was damaged by a company called out to do structure foundation repairs. The company "patched" the walkway, but did a lousy job and refused to come back to do the work correctly. I contacted Chris Roberts concrete, they were there when promised, did a great job, cleaned up the site following the work and were very professional from start to finish. I would use them again and I would recommend them anytime.

Got his name from Angie's list. Called and discussed what I wanted done. He was able to work me into his schedule within two weeks. The extension was completed as scheduled. His crew cleaned up the site when finished. This was a small job and he was nice to work with.

After receiving multiple bids I selected Chris Robert to replace the dropped part of my driveway. Chris had evaluated the work and provided a couple of different options for replacing different amounts of the driveway including an option that would have only been half the cost. Mr. Robert and I agreed to the scope of work and his written estimate was 20% less than other Angies List contractor's even with their discount. The crew arrived on the date specified and jackhammered out the old driveway and took it away in short time. Another crew arrived shortly and framed and set rebar. The concrete truck was late but once it arrived everything was poured and smoothed. The crew waited for the concrete to setup before doing a final smoothing. It was started and poured in a single afternoon. Chris Roberts returned himself tow or three days later and removed the forms. At each step I observed each crew mark and protect the irrigation system that was under the driveway and had heads on both sides. It has been several months since then and I am still very happy with the work and the cost for the project. Thank you Chris.

Chris showed up on time and was very professional. I have an abnormal design concept, and he asked all the right questions to make sure it was quoted correctly. He was honest about lead-time and cost.
