Electrician explained what he would do to find and fix the problem. He then did and proved it to me, the problem source and fixed it in front of me. Best service experience I have ever had!

After searching Angie's list, and calling other providers/companies, I settled on Caddell Electric due to the reviews. I called and that very day (Thursday) someone (Steve), came out to evaluate the job and give me a price. I was quite impressed with his attention to detail - that is, making sure he understood what I wanted done, where, and how. It was COLD! that day. Satisfied with what he said he would do, I made the appointment for the work to be done. The office said he'd be here at 10:00 on the following Monday. Monday 10 a.m. came and went. So did 10:30. I was really annoyed now, having ordered my morning to be ready for this job to be done. I'm thinking of cancelling and finding someone else. About 11:00 the office calls and says he'll be there at 12:00. I said, You told me he'd be here at 10. She said, "No, I told you between "10 and 12." Well it was pointless to argue. if he was going to be here at 12, let's just get on with it. He got to my house at 12:30. I'm perturbed, but he's apologetic; "other job on other side of town took longer than expected." No harm done. He got to working, doing all we had agreed on, including putting in a timer inside for the outside lights. All in all it took about 4.5 hours but when he was done it was a job well done. Actually, the price paid was a little less than the estimate, AND much less than other estimated I'd had in the past. All the lights work well. It makes such a difference at night. I really appreciate the work that Steve did. As noted above, my issue had to do with time. Otherwise, he did an excellent job.

I will always call Steve when I need anything electrical done in my home. My entry way was dark and now it shines with light. So many parts of the chandelier needed special attention; such as the ceiling cap that needed sanding and gold paint; and Steve had to do some of the construction outside in his truck. He worked in the cold and sometimes in the dark. He is truly an artisan. I learned a lesson in this process: to be sure I provide all of the parts to the item I need repaired. I was so pleased to find five flame tip crystal light bulbs in my garage. Mostly I'm grateful for the excellent suggestions and guidance from the staff at Angie'slist Member Services, and for the expertise and artistry of Steve Robbins. When you want the best - use Angie's List.

The electrician did not really want to run the outlet, thought it would be better if the tv was hung first but I said no that I wanted it installed now as the tv installers were on their way. So he did. They were short staffed that day so the extra 3 pot lights that I wanted in the bedroom and an extra electrical outlet in the water heater closet could not be done. The running of the fireplace outlet took about 8 minutes. He called it a level 2 outlet. I guess because it had to be fished 5 feet. The $289.00 was including a discount for of 39.00 service call. I'm sorry but that was far too expensive to run one outlet. I really liked Lance when I spoke to him. The installer seemed like a nice guy. He did at least get that outlet in for me so that my tv install could be completed. He did what appears to be a nice professional job but had I paid the service call fee as well, it would have been over $300.00 for 8 minutes work. That is far too expensive. The previous electrician had charged far less and had to check everything out, but I forgot who I used. Caddell are nice people, did a nice job, but I will be going elsewhere for professional work at far less cost. The quote I got from another Angie's list star electrical company for the other work I need done was 50.00 less per pot light including tying them into existing or an additional switch. I have to go with the lower quote. I"m disappointed.

I had run the majority of the new electric wire and needed the electrician to help hookup a new breaker and outlets. The electrician was very helpful and walked me through the entire process. In addition to installing the new outlets he taught me how to install them so I can do it in the future. Caddell Electric does great work and I highly recommend them.

I was very pleased with the experience. I initially thought I would have to replace the fixture, but he was able to replace the ballast and florescent bulbs. He already had the parts on his truck. He was very knowledgeable and very nice. I had a coupon as well for a free service call charge. They were very professional and I would recommend them to anyone.

They first gave an estimate for everything, and although it seemed high, I was later told that the estimate was done wrong and was actually half the cost it should have been. But they honored it anyway, which I appreciated. The process of installing the larger medallion was very intricate, and the owner took time to make sure that it was installed properly. They ran into several snags that required troubleshooting and did that well. I felt like they knew what they were doing and instilled confidence that the installation would be secure.

Steve is awesome! He is quick, thorough, explains in detail (and in layman terms) what he going to do and how. I trusted him completely through this and every project he comes to work on. He is pleasant and friendly. I even left him in my house to do the work and he locked up for me I have had great experiences with him and the last person that came to work on some projects. I would recommend Caddell Electric to anyone. Thank you Steve!

The work was good. They did do extra work that I found out later. They did sell me a whole house surge protector which I did not need and that was $1,200.00, I found out later that I did not need the surge protector and that the system will not work. They sold me the device and I was ripped off as there was no need for it. The kid that came over was really nice however. I will never use them again.
