The woman who took the call told me they did this work and we set a appointment for 12 sat 3/4 They called at 12 and informed me they did not install appliances, and could not so the job. Great not I have waited for three days on a company that does not know what they do. No good !

Description of Work: Our new Broan range hood, wasn't working. It was still under warranty with Broan and C&W does contract with work for them. The young men were polite, professional and all business. Once they determined that the motor was dead, they order another and informed me that they would contact me as soon as the part was available. They contacted me immediately after the holiday and set up a time to replace the motor. They came, got right to work, tested the range hood, completed the paperwork and were on their way. Extremely efficient!

It went very well. A nice polite young man came out and installed the gasket and ring without any problem. Very pleased with the prompt service and good attention to detail.

I called Saturday morning around 8:30 and technician (Jeff) called me back around 9:00. I described the problem to him and based on that he picked up a part and had my refrigerator cooling again by 11:30. Great service. Very professional and knowledgeable technician. I mentioned my ice maker was also not working. Jeff looked at the ice maker and determined what part needs replacing. The company will waive the trip charge if I have the ice maker fixed within 30 days so I have already arranged to get that done next week. Would definitely recommend this company to my friends.

They came out and determined what part was broken. Even though the ice machine was out of warranty, CW suggested I call Scottsmans. I did, and Scottsman picked up the charge for the repair part and the labor to install the repair part. I did have to pay the original service call. My only complaint is that after CW fixed the ice machine, he did not clean out the ice bin of residue and black stuff from the installation process/ He left, and turned the ice machine on. So I had to dump out all the ice that was made, clean the bin from the installation debris, and re-make ice. Should have cleaned out the bin.

Viking set up the initial contact with C and W. On the appointed day Drew called to let me know they were on the way. They were right on time and very professional. They completed the work quickly and cleaned up after...what more could I ask for? Also, very knowledgeable on all our appliances and gave me some tips on maintenance beyond the one they were working on. Felt like they went above and beyond on this free-to-me service and will definitely call on them any time I have an issue.

Years ago when we built this house out here in Aledo, we put in Viking and Sub-Zero appliances and there were so many people in Fort area that just were not either selling the products or they were not enabled to work on the products so we were always having to go back to Dallas to get people to service out appliances. C W Appliance is some of the people I always used. They are good and they are out here 3 to 4 times a year. I’ve had them come out and do some other stuff like work on our Sub-Zero refrigerator. I used them on a regular basis. Wade has been doing our stuff for ever. He is very knowledgeable and very honest. If there is something that he thinks is out of warranty and its going to be kind of pricey to fix, he'll let you know ahead of time so you can be aware. They just don't come out, do the work and say its $5000 and you fall on the floor. Replaced a baker's heater in the oven... great service and fast.

Wade is the guy that I always use and he came out here, we had a new ice maker put in and the pump was making a lot of noise and since it was under warranty, they only do warranty stuff. They don't sell appliances, they just do maintenance and warranty. Wayne came out here; I think it was around the 28th of December. Great service by Wade... just fixed our Viking oven and trust them so much to come in the house when not at home..

I was in a quandary about repairing it or purchasing a new unit. A comparable new Subzero is in the 10K range. Cand W helped me analyze the unit and weigh the pros and cons regarding the repair/replace equation. At no time did they misrepresent or inflate theirabilities to repair the situation. They repaired the compressor for me. Their work was fairly priced, done well and professionally executed. I found them by calling SubZero and getting the names of firms in Dallas who are trained to work on their appliances. I will call them again, and consider myself fortunate for having found them.
Description of Work: I have an older, built-in SubZero refrigerator/freezer. The compressor in the freezer portion failed. C&W replaced that compressor for me and addressed several other maintenance/refurbishing issues.

Excellent service from start to finish. Technician called to say he was on the way. He was careful of other items in the house and he had a very personal demeanor. He had to leave to pick up the replacement part, but he then returned as promised and fixed the problem. There were no breaks on the price, and I suppose that is as it should be .... The service call seemed high, but I knew about it in advance, and service was definitely high quality.
Description of Work: Technician repaired a broken motor on a built in microwave ..I particularly liked the fact that he tested several other items before condemning the motor.. He correctly diagnosed and fixed the problem. While he was here, I asked him to confirm a diagnosis on a washing machine (plumbing issue) which he did for a reasonable fee

Sub Zero compressor died about 30 days out of warranty. CW's technician was fantastic, said don't worry. He made a call to Sub Zero directly and talked the company into sending us a new one - free of charge. Saved us about $700. Throughout the process this gentleman was the consummate professional.

The tech that came out was outstanding. He was very professional and explained everything he was doing. I felt comfortable with him in the house. I never felt he was rushing the job. He was very thorough.
Description of Work: We were concerned about the color of the flame on our Thermador gas cook top. I called the company as a result of a referral from another company. The service tech came out to check on my gas stove top and fixed that very quickly. I mentioned my dishwasher wasn't very good and after a couple of questions he figured out the problem and fixed right there. He saved me over $1,000 for a new dishwasher! Turns out it was a burned board and the dishwasher wasn't heating the water nor drying the dishes.

I will let you decide: 1. Freezer stopped working on 12/8/07 - Cost for call $104. 2. Replaced compressor and evaporator coils on 12/10-Parts under warranty but labor was 541.25. 3. 6/7 freezer out again-called on Monday 6/9 to get an emergency call. 4. 6/10 Sent person out, confirmed that freezer didn't work (Duh). 5. Made appointment to come out on Friday, 6/13 Guy looked at work formerly done, claimed former work was ok but was able to confirm that freezer was not running. Diagnosed massive coolant leak in some unspecified location. Put in more coolant which worked for about 2 days. Did not present a repair plan or timing. 6. After a week without refrigeration, no clue what the problem was and no plan to repair we gave up and bought a new frig.
Description of Work: Freezer stopped cooling on a 7 yr old Kitchen-aid side by side refrigerator freezer.

Everything went well. Scheduling an appointment was easy and the service person was there early. Quickly diagnosed the problem and worked up an estimate. Also, they were able to look up the warrant information to let me know it was out of warranty, but they tried to see if I had a receipt that could help me out.

I have been met with considerable hostility from these people. I was told I had to get an authorization from Jennair, which I got and which was acknowledged. I was then told the boss had to approve it and she would call me back. That was a week ago. I called today and was told that "Sorry, no fax". When I insisted that it had been received and acknowledged, she passed me off to someone else who was not at her desk. I left a message. I called the other service company on the Jenn-Aire web site and now have an appointment for next week.

WE PURCHASED A U LINE UNDER COUNTER REFRIGERATOR FROM JARRELL APPLIANCE. IT QUIT COOLING DURING THE ONE YEAR WARRANTY PERIOD. WE CALLED TO HAVE IT SERVICED AND THEY TOLD US WE HAD TO CONTACT CW. THEY HANDLED THE REPAIR WORK. THEY WERE VERY DIFFICULT TO DEAL WITH BECAUSE THEY WOULDN'T TELL YOU WHAT TIME THEY WERE GOING TO BE OUT, UNTIL 8:00 OR LATER THE DAY THEY WERE COMING. THEY DID FIX THE REFRIGERATOR AND RETURNED IT TO US. HOWEVER, LESS THAN A MONTH LATER IT HAS QUIT WORKING AGAIN.

THE REPAIRMAN WAS AT THE OUTER LIMITS OF HIS QUOTED TIME OF ARRIVAL EACH TIME. HE WAS POLITE, KNOWLEDGEABLE, AND HELPFUL. HINDSIGHT MAKES THE COST OF THE SERVICE CALL SEEM ON THE HIGH SIDE. Description of Work: OUR BUILT-IN MICROWAVE QUIT COOKING, SO WE CALLED CW SERVICES, AS ONE OF YOUR RECOMMENDED REPAIR SERVICES. THE FIRST APPOINTMENT WAS FOR BETWEEN 3:00 AND 5:00 PM ON A MONDAY. WE HAD AN EMERGENCY COME UP, AND COULD NOT WAIT BEYOND 5:30 PM TO LEAVE OUR HOME. MR. BATES CALLED AT 4:30 AND SAID HE COULD BE AT OUR HOME BY 5:00. WE HAD TO RE-SCHEDULE. WE WERE UNHAPPY AND SO WAS MR. BATES. MR. BATES RETURNED THE FOLLOWING THURSDAY. IT TOOK ABOUT 15 MINUTES FOR HIM TO MAKE HIS INITIAL ESTIMATE OF REPAIR NEEDS. HE WAS VERY EFFICIENT AND HELPFUL. HE PROMISED TO CALL BACK THE NEXT MORNING WITH THE FINAL ESTIMATE OF THE COST OF REPAIRS NEEDED. HE CALLED BACK AT 7:30 A.M. THE NEXT MORNING WITH HIS ESTIMATE. BECAUSE OF THE SIZE OF THE COST OF REPAIRS, WE HAVE CHOSEN TO HAVE A NEW MICROWAVE INSTALLED. SINCE CW DOES NOT DO INSTALLATIONS, WE WILL HAVE TO HAVE SOMEONE ELSE DO THAT.
