Description of Work: We recently moved into a home which had a very high end DCS built-in stainless grill. Unfortunately, the grill had been somewhat neglected, and was in a state of general disrepair (broken ignitors, burner-to-burner transfer problems, etc.) Given the high original cost of the grill ($4000) I dreaded calling in a "Licensed DCS Technician" as recommended in the owner's manual, as web reviews of such Techs were universally poor, from both performance and cost standpoints. I instead elected to go with freelance Johnathan Borchardt, as his diverse and extensive background (at least, per his website) seemed to indicate that he would be up to the task. Well, suffice it to say that, in this age of poor service and lack of puncuality, Johnathan was a throwback to the age of Dr.'s making housecalls. He showed up exactly on time, and immediately proceeded to get to work on the grill. In no time at all he not only had the grill performing as-new, but he had cleaned it to Steak-ready condition, including insuring that no remnants of black char remained in the work area. The icing on the cake was the bill, which was IMHO so reasonable, that I would not hesitate to have Johnathan do work on a more basic Weber or similar gas grill. Filets were sizzling less than an hour after he left. Just like finding a good Plumber or Electrician, it's very nice to have a go-to "Grill-guy."
