Darren was professional in every aspect of the project. He was a great help in the selection process, providing helpful opinions and options. He was on the job daily and responded promptly to every question or concern. We are extremely pleased with the results and will enjoy our beautiful pool for years to come. We highly recommend ASP for pool renovations. The price was higher than some other competitors, but the quality and attention to detail was well worth it.

They clean and chemicals, weekly maintenance. It’s a monthly cost. I would use them again.

Darren Kesler and Roy did a great job from start to finish on my swimming pool project. They consistently stated what would happen, when, and then it did. Very happy with their level of involvement and time spent on the job site. Highly recommend!

This company is TERRIBLE at anything beyond basic pool cleaning. Technician came out 2 hours after the scheduled time, mislabeled all our pool equipment, didn't fix the issue, and charged us $125 to spray out the filter with our garden hose. Called the company, and after giving me attitude, they sent the same guy, he again didn't fix anything, and then left.

From the initial contact, their Customer Service, Professionalism and Attention to Detail has been A+.

Darren Kesler, the salesman, ignored my complaints about the quality of the cement workmanship, saying problems would all disappear by the time they finished all the steps. This was somewhat true, but it was mostly a matter of hiding sloppy workmanship. The overall appearance of the renovation is good, the main problem was with the cement workers and stampers around the pool The stone cutters were very good. The surface of the pool itself turned out fine. The different cement overlay workers who did the patio area connecting to the pool were quite good. Therefore I know the cement work around the pool could have been much better. The other major issue was lack of clear invoicing. All the separate stages of progress were added to or changed on invoices all with the same date, but actually spread out over weeks. We were supposed to get change orders showing what additions or changed to the originated order had taken place, but we got none. The original invoice was for about $32,000, but the last one was 45,000. We did make changes and additions, but many of these weren't communicated in cost amounts at the time of those changes. This led me to be afraid there would be more and more additions to the cost and not knowing where it would stop. At one point a service that had been previously stated to be included was announced as incurring an additional $600 with the pretense it was offered earlier as free as some kind of courtesy, but now would be added on. This did not actually occur, but operated as some kind of threat. Most things I found wrong with their work were thrown back at me as my being a perfectionist and totally unreasonable and were stated in anger and antagonism. This was very unprofessional and stressful. I could have dealt more easily with errors and mistakes in the concrete work had Darren been more willing to discuss things reasonably rather than just defend and disagree and fight about issues.

They are good actually; they are fine. I don't have any problems with that. They actually didn't charge me for anything extra. Normally this work is rather tricky, but I think they found out the problem. What happened like, because this used to trigger automatically and we really didn't know what was our issue, so we were suspecting something, but probably he found the correct reason for that. So I think that they were okay. And then he didn't really charge me. and after that I don't think it happened again. The charge was reasonable, actually. He found the problem; he just turned it off. That was a tricky solution because what happened, like the pool used to kick off automatically regularly and it would actually drain out the spa, so it was kind of difficult to figure out what exactly was causing this problem. I think like this guy found out quickly, so because we were suspecting something was wrong with the control panel, you know, the automatic cycle. A lot of things were kind of going on automatically, so I think his diagnosis was fine.

I had a call scheduled with this company for almost a week out. Supposedly the first call of the day, when nobody showed up by 10:00, I called the company and they confirmed I was scheduled first thing. The tech called me back and said he hadn't realized I was scheduled for first thing and he could come later in the day. Is this a person I want working on my pool? Probably not. I don't feel like it's a very professionally run organization if their employees/techs miss something this basic.

The work went very smoothly. Everything was done as planned with no surprises. The pool looks great and we are very happy with the service that was provided by ASP.

Great salesman, Darren was attentive and worked very hard to get the deal. The work went well, finished on time, it looked beautiful except for a few imperfections in the quartz plaster. I had Darren come look at it and he agreed it was not adequate and they decided to acid wash the pool. After another big water bill, the plaster looks worse now than it did with the imperfections. I don't know what happened but it's not new looking anymore and there are shiny spots where the discoloration is not even. Not happy with the end product, and now I can't get them to come and look at it. Will look elsewhere next time.

Except for weather delays, on schedule, as planned

They were really good. they gave us idea's that we would not have thought of like this little ascent like this little tiles that would ascent the steps to go down that would help us to see the steps that it would cost us anymore. He didn't try to sell us anything that we didn't need like he said you know your tiles around the pool is fine, you don't need anything you just need to resurfacing. We did a lot of price comparison and his price wasn't out of this world and we had some companies prices were so low that they are stretchy something must be going wrong with him because some companies the prices too good to be true so we didn't go with them, so their prices was right in the middle and it was very reasonable we thought it was going to cost much more to resurface our pool, so the price was very fair.

Bryan came out and confirmed what I had been told at my pool store about getting parts for this filter. He tried 3 sources and couldn't find a manifold. He replaced my filter with a new Pentair filter and it has been running great. My pool is sparkling clean. This is the 3rd time I have used ASP and, though a little pricey, they have done a great job each time.

I was billed for 2 trips when I should have been billed for one. ( be careful when you sign up for the deal; you will be tricked into getting 2 ) Also the deal did not mention that the filter cleaning or the chemicals were not included in the $88 deal.

Was very prompt when contacted for quote. Crew was very professional and took care of surrounding area of pool. Cleanup afterwards was exceptional. Follow up maintenance was very professional with weekly updates including pictures. Maintenace was so well done that I decided to use them for future maintenance. Any problems I identified were taken care of promptly as soon as communicated. Everything was done when scheduled and exactly as described beforehand.

I called to make an appointment and left a message. Received a call back within a reasonable amount of time. They were able to schedule an appointment for a filter clean and repair the following day. On the day of the appointment the service man showed up during the offered time frame and completed the work within a couple of hours. He was very professional and courteous. He left everything neat and clean and checked to make sure everything was running fine before he left. I asked him a couple of questions about the Company's service and he was able to answer. This is the second time I have used ASP and will definitely use them again.

We had several discussions before production began to make sure our expectations were clearly understood. The work went as planned. The final result was incredible. We had moved into this home about a year ago and discovered some potential flooding issues from poor drainage and the lack of an automatic water release from too much rain. The creativity in the drainage design was very much appreciated. All the work done was impressive. Really appreciate dealing with professionals. WB and KB

After a couple more calls from the company I was told late Tuesday evening that they are departmentalized so I would need 2 separate appointments with 2 separate fees. This would be a hassle on my schedule and more expensive. I just wish the first 2 workers I dealt with would have had a better understanding of how the company works so that I would not have wasted my time.

The weekly service is reliable and friendly. When I have needed a repair, the technicians have done a good job of diagnosing the problem (not always easy) and repairing it promptly.

American Swimming Pool company has worked on my pool in the past, finding and fixing a leak as well as repairing tile and I have always been extremely happy. But they have risen to a new level of help and care. i live in Rowlett and my home was one of the homes that is a total loss and will be demolished. I needed help with my pool being winterized as I no longer have electricity and there is no way to run the pumps when it is below freezing. ASP promptly came out to help. My insurance company said the pool was not damaged but ASP has experience with tornado damaged pools having worked on pools in Ferris Texas. They said the only way to determine if there was damage is to drain the pool and remove all the debris. Sure enough they found quite a bit of damage. They are working directly with the insurance adjuster. They also secured my pool with the orange fencing as my fence was broken by the tornado. These people have gone over and above to help me. They have come back multiple times in a week and are now with the help of my neighbor (as I have no water), filling the pool halfway for the winter. They have advised me not to do work while the house is demolished and initial build is started. When it is time, they will do all the work to get my pool repaired after the tornado. I will never call any other company again. This is my company for life.

Darren at America's Swimming Pool was a huge help during this process. This is our first pool and we have only lived in the house for about 6 months before the pool started leaking. He explained the entire process to us and made it very easy for us to understand. His team did an excellent job on the repair. And to top it off Darren even came over himself to help me get the equipment back up and running properly which he absolutely did not have to do! I would highly recommend their services.

The timer was repaired promptly, courteously by a real pro who was careful to repair rather than replace. I appreciated everything about that gentleman. He was the consummate professional.
