Description of Work: Chris painted my new garage door & baseboards which needed touching up after having new hardwood floors & stairs put in. He did an excellent job.

Description of Work: I was referred to Handyman Matters. I have a balcony that needs repair. I called them on June 8 to see about getting an estimate. They called back and had someone out to look at it on June 10. I was told I would get a written estimate emailed to me within a couple of days. By June 16 I still had not received an estimate. I called them and spoke with Ruth. She was very nice and said she would check on the status. I have not heard back since and they have been unresponsive to calls/messages I've left this week (week of June 22). This may not have been a big job but it's still money and still a potential for a return customer. I guess they are rolling in the dough so much they don't need the work.

Description of Work: I hired this company to make repairs to our front door and front storm door damaged by a delivery team. The company was quick to respond to my inquiry. The service man arrived a few minutes early and completed the job within the minimum time, was neat, professional and polite. I would hire this company again.

Description of Work: Attempted to repair sliding glass door with no success. Ended up buying a new one. Replaced toilet. Only issue was ol toilet was left in the livingroom. It was rather heavy moving it outside by myself. But I managed.

Description of Work: I prepaid for handyman services for 4 hours. Handyman Matters responded and sent a senior craft person to my job. His work was exceptional and took care of repairing closet shelving so that I wouldn't have to rework or rebuild the entire closet. It was for china and crystal and the shelves began to bow under the weight of the dishes. He did a wonderful job very efficiently. Thank you to Steve Stockton at Handyman Matters.

They worked hard and were very flexible to accomodate schedule and complete jobs. Would definitely use again.

Description of Work: Multiple touch up painting jobs: molding around new storm door, small section of bathroom wall, patched and painted two small cracks near doorways. Repaired and painted closet door that was sticking. I have used this company multiple times over the past 3 years and their crafts person Michelle has always provided excellent work; she is a hard-working professional.

Description of Work: I'd had provider come fix a lick in the kitchen sink in late November 2014. I noticed the sink was still licking on January 13, 2015. In addition, the sink was not draining. Handyman send a plumber the next morning. He took two hours to find the lick, buy the necessary supplies at Home Depot, and use a snake to unclog the sink. When he finished I asked how much I owed and he said nothing since the plumber in November should have fixed the lick correctly. It goes without saying I'll use Handyman Matters whenever I need a professional to work in the house in the future. I'd used them previously to repair outside stone stairs and walkways and they did excellent work then also.

Description of Work: Most of the work performed was drywall repair (patch & paint) for 1 wall & 3 ceiling areas. Additionally, Steve remounted an old A/C duct vent in 1 ceiling, and with Bryan's help went around the house to secure any loose soffit/facia. I really appreciate Steve's determination to arrive on time & believe he is definitely a man of his word. Will I consider using Handyman Matters again and also recommend to friends? That's a definite yes!

Description of Work: These guys are pretty good. It may have just been a fluke, but they had to come back to correct first couple of jobs they did. They did pay to fix a chip that one of their tile guys left in my tub. They did come back to finish removing vines from our back wall and roof (the job was left incomplete the first time). They did not charge me when they picked up the incorrect GFCI outlet. I did find giant screws in my garage and driveway after they installed a pegboard in the garage. They were very polite and professional, just not very tidy/detail oriented. My only recommendation would be to spread a thick tarp over any area they will be in before turning them loose to the area. :) I will use them again because they always corrected their mistakes promptly, they were honest, and the other jobs were done well.
