Chuck showed up on time..as he has in the past. Quickly and efficiently removed old door ,reset frame,re-installed storm door,switched out locks. It went great, very smooth and no fussing around. I will use this company again and will request Chuck. It's great to have a reliable, trustworthy professionals in my home. Sure you can get things cheeper but you will find it can cost you more in the end. I have been so pleased with this company and I found them on Angie's List!!!

The handyman (sorry I forget his name) came out when he said he would and went right to work removing the door. He was careful to leave the carpet in as good a condition as he found it. He took the door outside and removed the offending wood and reinstalled the door. It worked perfectly. The only problem was that he was through in about an hour and I didn’t have additional tasks lined up to fill the second hour, so I had him replace a couple of light bulbs. He suggested that I keep a list of handyman tasks for the next visit. I would gladly call Handyman Matters again when the need arises.

He did a very good job. I was very pleased. It's very professional looking. He did everything just fine.

The person I spoke to on the phone was courteous & said that they could send someone over immediately. I was so relieved, since I had a giant hole in my dining room, which could not be covered with glass until the board was replaced. The first person who arrived wasn't able to do the job because he had a cast on his arm, preventing the level of detail required to match the trim. Within a couple of hours (which was communicated to me), the next person arrived to start. He said he needed to run for supplies at Home Depot & returned about 45 minutes later. The actual work took about 45 minutes. However, he said he needed to return the next day because he didn't have a router with him to match the existing trim. I was *shocked* when I was charged for 1.5 hours of work plus the $40 trip fee & materials. It wasn't clear to me that I was paying the hourly rate while he went to the store (or I would have started by looking in my garage to see if we had usable wood already). Fortunately, I called & was able to work it out with the company. They retroactively applied an advertised "deal," which was $99 for 2 hours of work (plus materials, but waived trip fee). The person returned the next day to route the board. Because it was already installed, the routing wasn't perfect. In order to complete the length, the corners became curved instead of right angles. He also needed to correct the places where the new board met the existing boards, since they were not flush. After chiseling, sanding & attempting to use caulk, he told me he would have to return the next day with bondo (for cars), which would dry faster & allow him to sand & finish. He returned with the bondo & did an *adequate* job. Honestly, I was just glad to have the job end! Although I was desperate for fast service & glad for an immediate solution, the outcome is far from perfect. I was disappointed in the quality of the work. I anticipate spending some of my own time attempting to cover up the flaws & blending the corners before touching up the paint. I'd consider using this company again if I was in a bind, however I'd definitely check for *deals* to cut down on cost & consider the need for *quality* before moving forward...

Everything was smooth. I called to set up an appointment for the installation with "Jennifer"--all went well. On Monday "Joe" came out and installed the entry and storm door. "Joe' was nice and professional. I will request "Joe" next time for some work. Great job!!

He adjusted a few doors, and put up a towel rod. He didn't bring any tools in with him, and it seemed like he was taking my time to go back and forth. That was a bit annoying. He was a nice guy, but I really wasn't impressed with the work he did. Handyman Matters had very good ratings, so maybe it was just poor communication on my part. I probably wouldn't use this company again.

He was on time and started immediately. I had bought supplies and he used some of his stuff which worked better. Covering the wall took a little longer cause plaster was not setting up right but stayed with it till it worked. Very friendly and helpful

I was able to call and get the service scheduled for the same day. I didn’t have any complaints from and will continue to use the same in future.

The company contacted me within hours of buying the package to schedule a time for the service. The next day Joe called before he came to the house. Joe did a great job bracing an electric cooktop that was not secure. He replace a toilet flapper, replaced light bulbs, and cleaned out a patio cover gutter. Great job! We will definitely use Handyman Matters of Dallas again.

The appointment process was smooth and seamless. Joe arrived on time, correctly assesed the situation and set about the repairs. It took two days due to the follow-up painting and he was meticulous in his effort to match the paint to the rest of the room which had been painted over a decade ago. He came very close and I was very pleased with the results.

After looking for a handyman on Angie's List, I was impressed with all of the good reviews for Handyman Matters. When I noticed that Handyman Matters was running a Big Deal coupon, I decided to call them to set up a service time right away. Chuck came out and was professional, thorough, courteous, and efficient. He moved one fan to install in another room and assembled and installed a new fan in a room. He also mounted a large marker board for us. All in all, we could not be more pleased and definitely will use Handyman Matters in the future.

They were very timely and they responded well. They do a lot of different types of work. They were very honest and good at what they do. They are very thorough and professional to work with.

The technician who came out was very proficient. He knocked out each task one after the other in a very efficient and professional manner. Would definitely call on them again for any handyman type work in the future.

I was extremely impressed by the the work done by HM. I had 2 relatively simple projects, but they required a little more powert and expertise than I had. HM handled both within 1 hour (actually a few minutes over but did not charge me). I was impressed by the professional approach and competency in results. I will definitely use them again.

I've used them twice and Deshon was really good! I asked for him the second time I called because he was trustworthy, worked quickly, and did a great job. My only complaint is that the price is pretty high, but it is worth the work done.

I had spent a week trying to get other handymen to return my phone call or come by and provide me with an estimate - though I really didn't care so much about the estimate since I figured it would not be very expensive. Anyone, I contacted Stacy at Handyman Matters and explained what I was looking for. She setup an appointment to have a craftsman come by my home on Saturday (which was only a three days from my call). Joe showed up on time and looked at the project and listened to my concern. My single concern was that I wanted it to look nice since it was the front of my house. I suggested some metal flashing which Joe agrees could be put up but would not match the existing trim around the house. He suggested that he try to find some wood at Home Depot that closely matched the trim. He wrote up an estimate before the job began which was consistent with what I had actually budgeted in my mind so I agreed to it. Joe went to the Home Depot and found a similar piece of wood. He then got to work and the finished product looked very nice and as if it was a part of the house. I was very satisfied.

Just two issues that I want to mention. The cost is high at $80/hour , for example, it cost me $160 for this in the time it took to go to home depot and have a lunch break. Also, I asked them for a copy of the receipts for materials and as of yet, have not received the paperwork from their office. The work was good though, and too date, I have yet to find better, but I'm going to search for a lower cost option in the future.

Overall, it was a great experience. I would and will use them again based on the 1 year guarantee for their work.

Deshon was punctual, professional, and just great fun to have in our house (amiable, family oriented, clean cut and very well-mannered). He fixed each item on our long list extremely quickly and thoroughly, making sure to show us what he was doing and why. He also made sure we understood what needed to be repaired before he started the work and tried his best to offer us the most affordable options. I would absolutely recommend his company and will definitely use him for any work in the future.

Bought the $75.00 big deal for 2 hours worth of handyman services. First, he hung a glass and chrome shelf in the bathroom. Next, removed old grout and re-grouted a tub; and lastly took apart and valiantly tried to fix the kitchen faucet which is corroded and leaking. The faucet would not come apart without breaking, so the leak was not repaired. The faucet needs replacing. He did a lot of work and I was thrilled.
