They did a good job and their price was good. There was an issue where a couple of the doors were hung upside down but they look okay. They were 5 panel doors. The bottom strip is taller and the top strip is shorter. They were very professional and did a good job. Everything got installed okay. We didn't have them corrected them because the door jamb won't match up if they are flipped. They worked very hard and they knew what they were doing. They did a good job hanging the doors and painting them. They were very polite and respectful. The first day the guy came and worked by himself which was a lot to do for one person. Second day he brought a helper. It was harder for him to find somebody on a Saturday but when they came, they worked fast and hard. It was just the issue that they were hung upside down. We didn't notice it until a week later. There is nothing we can do so we will just live with it. The original price was $360 but it ended up being $960. It cost more than they said it would upfront but we had figured that it would be $800 or $900 considering the labor that needed to be done. It was a great price for the amount of work because we talked to 2 or 3 other contractors and they wanted double or triple the price. They were still a bargain.

I really enjoyed working with this company. Dave came to install the doors and truly did a beautiful job. I have a house built in 1947 with an Austin Stone exterior which makes the brick mold very difficult to align. He actually chiseled out a small piece to perfection to make it look even better. The new door was about 1/4 inch too tall so he was able to sawzall out that piece and it worked perfect. He installed new doors sills, hardware, locks etc... and to my amazement they all worked perfect. No sticking, seals perfect. We installed two doors in about 6 hours and the only reason it took 6 hours was the complicated nature of the project and the fact that both doors had the sills, jambs and plated replaced. Brandon his apprentice came by for a couple of hours and did a great job as well. Both of them were polite, clean, on time, and worked the whole time. Thanks so much

The handyman came on time, was professional and honest. Fixed everything that needed to be worked on with quality work and in a timely matter. Overall, was a great job! I would definitely hire them again if there is anything else I need fixing.

Wonderful service again! They were on time and efficient. He even helped us balance the fan blades before leaving! They always clean up and are so professional.

Steve came out and reviewed the problem. I had a hole in my soffit board, that had to be repaired. He did not have the replacement board so he went to the Home Depot to obtain one. The one he got was not quite as wide as the soffit boards currently installed on my home so he had to cut and add a piece to make it match the width of my boards. After installing, he painted using the paint I had purchased. There is a seam but it is not that noticable. I contacted Handyman Services and was told that the work is good for year, so if any problems occurs it will be covered. All in all, i'm pleased with the work that was done, and hope it keeps out the critters.

Handyman Matters was hired to fix some doors that no longer shut and replace worn out weather stripping to several doors. They came out at a scheduled date on time and worked hard to complete the job. Things looked good and I paid them and they left. A month later, we had a good rain and water was pouring into the interior of our house around the door and caused water damage to our floors. This had never happened before Handyman Matters came to work on this specific door. I called the company to report what happened and they sent someone else fairly quickly. This individual stated that the work the previous Handyman Matters employee did was substandard and spent the day redoing what the last guy messed up. Unfortunatley, he couldn't find an exact match for our damaged floor and had to replace it with something similar. Thankfully, this guy's work was professional and we have had no issues. I wouldn't hire them again as you don't know if you will get a qualified "handyman" or someone that could cause more damage than if you would have left things alone like employee #1 did.

Completed the job well. Cleaned up the mess and left everything tidy. Nice person did the job and explained what and why he cleared the ceiling as he did . Gave me some ideas for re structuring the new ceiling. I would use this company again

I bought the Handyman Matters online special $160 for 2 hours of work and work was scheduled. Handyman showed up as scheduled and we discussed the installation. The door and molding were stained by us ahead of time - we just needed it installed. We did not want to tackle this on our own. He was concerned about some of the strange angles on the inside of the pantry where the new molding would go and if he could get the joints to butt together nicely. Also, we told him not to worry about filling the nail holes - that we would do that and he seemed relieved that he wouldn't have to try to match the stain. Molding ended up not being an issue after all as he was able to make it fit fine. Took a little longer than the 2 hours that we paid for so we owed more money but he gave us a little break on that since he did have some phone calls during that time. Overall we are happy with the door and molding and will keep Handyman Matters in mind next time we need a handyman.

Handyman matters worked with me on scheduling and was able to get someone out sooner than any of the other companies I called. Their quote was in line with other's I'd received after the Angie's List discount, but would have been slightly higher otherwise. They arrived on time and got to work quickly. Took about 3 outs to replace the frame and door. They did a good job patching up some gaps that appeared since the new frame was slightly wider than the old. I'm happy with the service and would consider using them again next time I have a need.

It took them a few weeks to finally get hem out here and I didn't spend anything extra. They sent 3 guys out here and they worked all day well over 6 to 8 hours. I loved the quality of their work, their professionalism and their cleanliness was impeccable.

Michelle game in, took a look at the mirror and 30 minutes later it was hung and more secure than before. Outstanding job! Since she had to rehang the mirror in a different manner to ensure that it wouldn't happen again, she raised it. That then left a gap between the bath counter and the wall, which Michelle chalked. It was a first rate job. Very professional, very nice, arrived on time and had no wasted efforts. Would recommend Handyman Matters to everyone and specifically Michelle. Price was a little high but the work was fantastic. Make sure you ask about all fees when you call to arrange service call. Michelle backed out the $40 service call fee which, again, I thought was the sign of a good company because I wasn't aware of the fee before hand.

The person who did the repairs on the inside doors did a fairly good job, but some of the doors quickly reverted to their old ways. A different person worked in the sliding glass door and seemed much more professional and expert at his work. That door looks good and works like a dream. I would use this service again, but I would be choosy about who they sent and not ask to ask for a replacement if I wasn't sure the first person was up for the job.

They were excellent. They were very knowledgeable and efficient. They know exactly what to do. The Handyman Matters of Dallas was great.

They did a pretty good job, we were pretty happy with them. They were very polite, and very forthcoming with their answers. There were some things that they couldn't do based on the price that we had initially discussed, but they were upfront about it, and they told us that there would be an extra charge if we wanted to paint the wall. We would use them again if we needed to. They weren't awful in their estimation, the final price was just about $25 above the estimate. I wasn't unhappy with the price. They did a great job.

They were very professional and pretty nice. My only B with handy matters is the price but I guess that's A for quality. I had hired them twice and they pretty much quoted me the exact amount of hours that they said they were going to over the phone so I was pretty happy with everything. I knew what I was getting into essentially. They were professional. The job they did was excellent.

I was impressed with the quality of the drywall repair. However the final process of matching the texture pattern of the original ceiling was less successful. I believe that the repair person did not have the necessary skill set to successfully complete this last part of the restoration process.

I'm borderline on how to grade my experience. I'm giving them a B but it's a low B, almost a C. I had 2 doors that needed adjusting and my sliding glass door repaired. It was not sliding at all and was hoping to repair instead of replace. There was also a crack in the toilet tank and need to see if it was repairable or whether I'd have to replace it. The initial estimate was for 2.5 hours for $212.50 not counting some materials. So I figured it would end up higher. The two doors presented no problem for the repairman. He was very comunactive and I think he really was trying to save me money but in the end I feel I spent more than I should have. It turned out he was unable to repair either the toilet nor the sliding glass door. The inspection of the sliding door ate up most of the original estimated time. I knew more time was needed after he called to let me know neither was repairable. I bought a new toilet online for $150 and the repairman picked it up and replaced the toilet. The final bill from Handy Matters was $438.17. Why is the grade a low B? So in total it cost me $588.17 to have a new toilet installed, 2 screws put into a door frame and the top of a closet door sanded down to close properly. I feels kind of pricey to me. Now I realise the the repairman was trying to fix the sliding glass door to save me replacement. It was gamble and I lost. The repairman was nice on the phone, but I never received a call letting me know when all was done. This is a rental property and I have to make a special trip to check on the results. The toilet install looked good, both doors closed more smoothly. But the old toilet was just sitting in the living room. Remember this is a rental property and realtors were showing the house. A toilet in the living room isn't a good selling point. I would have liked the toilet to have been put out with the trash. Also there was a lot of wood debris from the closet sanding/shaving that I had to clean up. So take this novella as a warning to not gamble $85 an hour on just trying to repair when you could have saved money by just replacing.

Great- I've used Handyman on several different occasions. They are great and very efficient. Jobs that would take me a few weeks to complete and entire weekends they are able to do in a morning. They have done everything for me from hanging shelves to fixing light fixtures to fixing a hole in dry wall.

Fantastic. I had an easy time scheduling with the company, their service man showed up early, walked through the house and took notes, got work immediately (after making a quick run to get supplies) and fixed all the problems. I purchased the four hour Angies list deal. It was worth-it. In the end, I only paid an extra $30.00 for supplies. Total professionals. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

The lady on the phone was very courteous in setting up the apt. initially. I cancelled as stated above.
