Did a fine job and carried out the old heavy airconditioner to the curb.

Arrived at time frame stated-4r. time given and arrived toward 4th hr.

We made the appointment. Person handling the phones was amazing, courteous and helpful. They showed up as planned. Worked the entire time and it looked better than it did when we got the house!

Isaac arrived at 8am as scheduled. He began working immediately. He worked at a steady pace, with no problems exhibited. I fell asleep but woke when he was finishing up. I went outside to observe the work. Asked questions about how secure was it? He walked me through everything he had done. I was satisfied with his work.

It was fine. One person came out. Scheduling was easy.

No service performed but a great customer service helped me find a contractor in my area.

They were very nice and prompt. They showed up when they promised. They did the job satisfactory.

Ok. Door needs a more permanent fix since it's coming apart.

Not well! Two individuals came and called from Lowe's pick-up at approximately the agreed-to time. Lowe's is near the job site. I sent Handymanmatters existing installation photographs and brick molding drawings ahead of time, but the two who reported on-site said they never saw them. Handymanmatters later explained that they had to switch crew assignments and thus didn't have time to provide the substitute crew the pics and drawings. I thought the $700.00 I paid Angie's list would count toward the job cost. Where did it go? Handymanmatters presented a bill for another $1,200.00! They wanted 1,200.00, but I told them I didn't think I should pay for the hour they spent removing and re installing an incorrectly installed door - the double one, so they reduced the charge to $1,000.00. That's $1,700.00 total cost! For installing two doors! 2 people for ten hours (8 a.m. to 6 p.m.??) each would be $85/hr! That is NOT a bargain! Angie's List needs to be sure that this matter of cost is clear ahead of time. HUGE GLITCH! I will not do that again. They mis-installed the double door and needed guidance as to how to install it to keep the door from hitting a nearby light fixture. NOTE: They were replacing an existing installation that had the safe swing-open limit right (limited by the brick) and could have simply set the door the same way! I actually had to explain why their installation was in the wrong direction and how to fix it. The paint job was not quality. There were many missed places (no paint). Lack of inconsistency on "paint - no paint" areas on door edges. Paint got on the locks and hinges. Left wads of masking tape on hinges. The single door was painted much better than the double door. They used power screwdrivers to start and tighten screws on our precision, expensive Baldwin lock sets, risking damage to the fine threaded, machine screws. I finally suggested they leave them, I'd do them myself. Handymanmatters called later and said the crew offered to come back and touch up the paint free. I declined.

I contacted Handyman Matters almost two weeks in advance to schedule a job which initially included the kitchen sink, faucet and garbage disposal replacement and installation of three ceiling fans. On the day of the installation I was notified they couldn't send the two people that were scheduled to be at my home so the job would be delayed until next week. When they replaced the sink, they damaged the kitchen cabinet and they re-painted a drawer with a different paint that does not match the exiting one. Also, the faucet looks twisted. When I called them the following day, no one responded to my call. Now I have to hire someone else to fix what they did. It is so difficult to find a company that will do a good job. I will never hire them again.

Steve did an excellent job making the repairs and did it quickly. He took less time than I originally thought it would take. The job was done to my complete satisfaction.

They did some odd jobs around my home. Everything went well. They were very good and showed up on time. They are clean cut and very well spoken.

It went extremely well. The lady that came to provide the service knew what she was doing. She also did more then we asked. She was very friendly the whole time.

The repair was completed within one hour. However, they left the broken studs in the attic and did not lay down covering over the carpet when working in and out of the attic. Wasn't sure if that was something they would normally have done. They removed the excess plywood used for flooring that I could have used elsewhere even though the excess pieces were small.

Isaac had all of tools & knowledge needed to complete the job with professional results.

I am really wanting to find a good handyman service for some work around the house now and in the future. This company got very good reviews, but after I initially left a message on this site and on their company phone, I didn't hear back. I called the next week and left a message that I hadn't heard back (giving them the benefit of the doubt). Got a call right back and the person (owner, I think) had had a family emergency and was just getting back to the backed up work and would contact the next week (this call happened on a Friday). Never heard another word. Disappointing.

Both guys were extremely professional and worked exceptionally hard. The texturing they added to the new wall matched perfectly to the rest of the room, and they came in under budget. I will be calling them again

Michelle returned to help with this additional task as we prepared this house for sale. The estimate for the work was acceptable and she arrived on schedule and the work done was excellent. Michelle is great to work with, knows what she's doing and does it well.

Handyman's contractor arrived on schedule to give an estimate for the work. We agreed to the price and a schedule for the work to take place. He returned on schedule, removed the fan and replaced with drywall and taped and bedded the replacement piece. The weather was too damp to allow the mud to dry so he scheduled a followup visit later that day. The continuing humidity forced them to make a return visit the following Saturday to complete the work. Both workers were clean, neat and personable as well as skilled and efficient. The initial work went off within the promised time frame and was professionally done. The delay due to humidity was not within their power to avoid. The job was so well done that it is impossible to tell that the ceiling in the hallway ever had any work done. When I have small to medium size jobs in the future, Handyman Matters will get my call.

Michelle showed up as scheduled to provide the estimate for the work we needed to revive this house which was to placed on the market. There were a lot of minor tasks that needed a more professional touch than we could provide Having been pleased with prior Handyman Matters work, we accepted the estimate and scheduled the work. Michelle was able to pick of the doors I had ordered on her way to the house which made my life easier. Removing the A/C window unit from the garage wall proved to be much more difficult than it should have been. But it had been poorly installed which became obvious once it was out. Otherwise, the two days of work went smoothly and Michelle was great to work with. We were working on other things while she was there so we knew. She installed three interior doors after cutting holes for the knobs and latches as requested. The hole left by the A/C in the garage wall was patched on both sides so that it matched better than I had imagined. All in all, Michelle did an excellent job and was a pleasure to work with.
