Description of Work: They changed three door locks to the house and three gate locks after we moved in. Great experience - they were here maybe an hour, gave us extra keys and labeled the keys.

Description of Work: It went very well. They fixed our door handle so we could get into the house. The door handle pushes down and it needed minor repair to work properly so we could get inside the house.

Description of Work: It's been about 2 months so I am a little hazy on some of the details......I bought a re-key special through Angie's list for 3 locks. The fee was $99 and was less than what most companies I'd contacted were charging. Kudos there. | |I was contacted promptly and we set a an appointment. They gave me a 3 hour window. I had hoped to only miss half a day of work. Their guy called me early that morning to confirm what I needed and my my address. He said he'd arrive towards the end of the 3 hour window. About 30 minutes after the window ended I called the guy to confirm he was coming. He said he was behind schedule and would arrive in 45 minutes. An hour and a half later I called their office to find out what was going on. They had their guy call me.....he said he'd arrive in an hour. This time he showed up. | |He was nice and apologetic. He did his work pretty quickly. He said our locks were installed upside down so he corrected that. To make amends he gave me 3 keys, I guess anything over one was supposed to be an additional charge. | |I was relatively content. Maybe a little annoyed by the tardiness. A few weeks after the service call we started having occasional issues with our front door lock. If it isn't closed just right I can't even put the key in. My back door also is very difficult to get the deadbolt closed. I contacted their office about these issues. They were a little slow to respond (about 24 hours) and said it didn't sound like the issues were related to their work, if they were they'd fix it for free. If they were unrelated I'd be charged for a service call. They offered to come out the next day. I never responded. | |I never had any issues with the locks before they came. I'm not sure how they felt not being able to put a key in a lock that they just modified was "likely unrelated to their work." | |I never responded to their offer to come out. We've been more carefull about how we set the door and deadbolt when we lock it. After buying a preowned house with a lot of recent shady work done, I don't have much patience for BS work done. The house has so many issues that we weren't anticipating because everything was redone and looked so nice. When I get the locks fixed it will be done by a different company that will do the job right.
