It went very well. They answered the phone immediately, came out when they said they would, did an excellent job, and I would definately use them again.

We were actually in California. Our babysitter called that Sunday morning to tell me it was 80 degrees in the house so clearly the A/C had stopped working the night before. I called Mike Diaz from the plane and he communicated with our babysitter and made the repair. He clearly could have gouged us - we weren't even in the state, there was a young sitter at the house and it was a Sunday. I couldn't believe how little he charged. This was the second time we've used him.

He could only complete checking one furnance because he did not have his tall ladder to go the back part of the attic where the other furnace was located. I have not called back to have him check on the 2nd unit yet. I scheduled to get it done in one go and now I will have to call for another appt. He made a lot of suggestions for my a/c unit which I will consider the recommendations.

They are fine, and took care of the problem very quickly.

They did an excellent job. Michael Diaz is the owner and his daugher Heather is the assistant. Michael came out on Thursday with Heather, who is a recent University of Houston grad, and they installed the new unit. They were punctual, on time and very pleasant to work with. They cleaned up their work area and were very friendly. The young lady installed the oustide unit as well as the indoor section that goes in the attic. She worked hard all day and didn't seem to break a sweat in the Houston heat. They also repaired a leak in our upstairs unit. I would highly recommend them.

Mr. Diaz responded immediately to my phone call and made his service call that afternoon. I was very grateful to him as it was a very hot summer day and it would have been very unpleasant without air conditioning.

Mike came out to check out problem with AC unit. I had another company come out and they recommended unit be replaced. Mike identified the leak was in the attic. Asked him to prepare a quote to fix the leak and one to replace the unit since it IS 18 years old. Gave him my home and work e-mail address to sent the quote to. Never heard back from him on the quote and ended up using someone else.

It turned out that we used him before. I called him and the phone did not answer and there was an answering machine, but literally within two minutes of hanging up he called me and he was traveling in his vehicle from place to place. I called at about 4.30 in afternoon and he said that the only thing is that he could not get here until about 6 and I said that was perfect. I thought that was excellent and he was here by 7 o?clock and he discovered our problem in no time and fixed it. He was very reasonable in his prices. We found him on this list and he had an ?A? rating. He was very prompt, nice and very professional. He had a lot of reports and has probably been on the list for 3 years and is a man in his 50?s. He was very prompt in coming out and fixing it and I think I paid about $270 on that work. I just thought he was great and we were both very pleased.

Showed up on time. Spent 5 minutes in attic and it was fixed. Only $90.00 for service call AND to replace fan capacitors. Could have easily have lied and said my fan motor was out but didn't. I wouldn't have known the difference. Awesome! Hard to find honest people these days. Will definitely use again and recommend to others.

He was excellent. His price was extremely fair. He's highly knowledgeable, very methodical, and did not panic.

He was very knowledgeable, but kind of a slow worker. He was by himself. He made some suggestions to try to keep us from having to replace the whole thing. He was on time and gave some options on how to repair it which was nice. I don't think what he did really helped a lot. He was just really slow in getting the job done, so I am not sure if I would use him again in future.

They were very good. It's a one man shop. He is a very hard worker.

Mike Diaz came out and diagnosed the problem on Thursday, and we scheduled him back in on Saturday to replace the condenser. When he got there on Saturday, we discovered that the supplier had sent a 2-ton condenser instead of a 3-ton. We thought that he wouldn't be able to complete the repair untill Tuesday, but he was back Monday evening at about 10 minutes to six and did the job!

He didn't waste any of my time or money. He gave me a heads up about problems with the type of unit installed in the attic and gave me a rough estimate for changing it out, or for zoning the house, and other types of money saving advice.

He fixed the first unit the day after we called. Two or three days afterward, the master suite AC went out; same problem. When I called to have him fix that unit, I asked him preemptively to replace the 3rd unit's capacitor. He was intitially reluctant, since it wasn't actually broken, but after some discussion to make sure I understood it didn't need to be done, he agreed it was a reasonable preventative measure. He didn't have one of the capacitors in stock, and didn't make it by for a couple days. He did call, to say he wouldn't be showing up when originally anticipated, to explain that he didn't have the right capacitor. I was fine, since the family was on vacation, and I could sleep in comfort on the couch. After a couple days, he came by, and hooked up a pair of capacitors in series to substitute for the one he didn't have in stock. He endured two wasp stings in the process, but sounded pretty stoic about it, and cleaned out the wasp nest from the unit. Despite the wasps, he charged exactly what he said he would, which saved us money (over having a 3rd service call, when the 3rd unit went out) and did the work without anyone actually at the house. He's a one-man show, so when things are really busy, there may be some delay in getting to you. But based on my two encounters, he's a man of his word who does a good job at an affordable price. I trust him, and will use him in the future. (Assuming he'll come back, despite our vicious wasps.)

Just moving into our home late Friday evening, we were immediately confronted with a non-working A/C (which was working excellent until then). We managed through the night and then first thing Saturday we began phoning friends in search of a reputable repair company, but to no avail. By afternoon, with inside temperatures reaching 88 degrees, we went on-line to Angies List and began a search. I selected Mike as a possibility, phoned him and spoke with him for several minutes. He sounded very knowledgeable, asking all the right questions. I asked what his Sat. rate was and he told me it was the same as his Mon-Fri rate. Wow. I asked him if he could fit us in that same afternoon and he said it would be 1-2 hours before he could make it since he was finishing up an installation. I gave him my address, which was actually 7 miles out of his range but he agreed to come anyway. As promised, he arrived within 2 hours, diagnosed the problem, explained everything he was doing step-by-step, replaced the transformer (which he had on-hand), inserted a new fuse line to protect us from power surges in the future, got the A/C running and aranged to come back out today (8/26) to replace the circuit board (which he needed to order). He would not accept any payment on that Sat., telling us he is only paid upon completion. He gave us an estimate and when he arrived to replace the circuite board, he completed the job in minimal time and charged us just what he had quoted. We were highly impressed with Mike from start to finish!

My AC died the night before I was leaving town on an international business trip. I called Mr. Diaz and scheduled an appointment for the date of my return. He arrived within the time frame given. It took him about 45 minutes to diagnose and repair the problem (a capacitor). He checked the freon level and it was good. The cost was $160.

We had an upstairs AC unit that was not working. Found Mike on Angie's list and gave him a call. It was after 7:00 PM so I figured I'd schedule an appointment for the next day or so. Surprisingly, Mike answered the call and said that since he was in the area, he'd stop by. Mike quickly diagnosed the problem and replaced a defective capacitor. Had me up and running within an hour of my call. Additionally, Mike performed a courtesy freon check of both my AC units. Thanks Mike.

I noticed the A/C was running but the house was very hot this morning. I was not sure who to call for a repair but I remembered the tv ad for Angie's List. I joined Angie's List and looked for an A/C repair company. Based on the reviews, I called Diaz Services. I spoke to Mr. Diaz at about 10am. He gave me a few suggestions about what the problem might be but said that he could come by at noon to look at the unit. Mr. Diaz was able to come at 11am (thank you) and quickly got to work. He was very polite and gave me background information regarding the parts of the A/C unit. True to what he had told me over the phone, the capacitor needed replacement. The capacitor was changed quickly and he checked the unit to make sure the freon level was adequate. I would highly recommend Mr. Diaz and his apprentice (good work) again.

the work went very well. he did everything he said he would do and more. there is no question in my mind that this man is honest and i would not hesitate to let him work on my a/c and heater again. a very good man.

He was able to come the same day I called, which was key because we were getting near to the end of the option period on the house. He inspected the A/C unit outside as well as the vents and outputs inside. I forget what tool was broken, but he came back the next day and completed the inspection and gave the unit a clean bill of health. I mentioned that I found him on Angie's List and he immediately told me that the fee would be $10 less than his standard charge for the service call(coupon). Very friendly and seemed thorough.

Mike explained some things in our system that wouldn't meet code these days that previous a.c. company reps have never mentioned. He was also the first a.c. repairman to explain some better ways to meet our current and future a.c. needs. While we were out of town, he came by and made some repairs, as agreed, to the unit outside. When we returned from our trip, our a.c. was working inside our house, and he then completed inside work to further improve our system. Before he began any part of his repairs, he explained every step. He was careful to clarify what options we had and what work we wanted done, and then he performed the work agreed upon. We had several estimates on this job, based on what was thought to be the problem at different stages. It was only after Mike really evaluated things carefully that he was able to nail down the specific problems and give us his estimates of our true repair needs. We feel that we got more than our money's work because he is thorough, honest, careful, and absolutely professional.
