Description of Work: Replaced baseboards along the back of the house -about 45ft along with a window sill. Painted all baseboards and door trim in 5 rooms. Painted 13 doors. | |Looks great. Very conscientious of details and clean up.

Description of Work: Painted my bedroom. Did a good job. There were some difficult areas that could look better, but considering the circumstances, I believe they did a very good job.

Description of Work: We were very happy that Brian was able to come out to our home on 4/23 to provide us with an estimate. He walked through our home and said he would get back to us with an estimate. We were slightly disappointed but provided him with our email address. At end of business today 4/25 we still hadn't received an estimate, email or call. My husband initiated a call to inquire about our quote. Brian had no idea who we were or what job we were calling about. He said he has had so many jobs that he just hasn't had the time to do anything. He said he just had too many estimates that he was working on. I gave such a severe rating because I would expect a professional to either decline the job or contact the customer to advise there would be a delay due to volume. No such courtesy was extended. =============================================================== I'm updating our review because Brian did go the extra mile after my husband spoke to him. We woke up this morning to find he had emailed us a report at 11:21 PM last night. This company exemplifies what it means to be a member of Angie's list contractors. There was an oversight that caused us as consumers to have an unfavorable impression of a company. Then they went above and beyond reasonable expectations to resolve our concerns.

Description of Work: I requested bids about 3 weeks prior. It was a big (~$10K) exterior paint job so I wanted to do my research thoroughly. I set a final appointment with Carnival to review the bid in person. I had not previously met the representative, he only went by the house when I wasn't there. One day prior to the meeting the representative (Brian) cancelled stating that they were getting calls for closer jobs and that they are withdrawing the bid because he can do better with the jobs closer in town. They were very responsive and stayed in touch but withdrawing right before I make a decision because they have a better deal is not the right way to treat a customer.
